We even pivoted on my makeup the morning of, and it turned out absolutely beautiful. My hair was stunning as well, and she blended the extensions so seamlessly even though I have very fine hair. All of my bridesmaids and my mom looked gorgeous thanks to the talented artists Anne brought with her. I couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. The 'touch up' kit she provides was helpful, as it included some general items such as bobby and safety pins. These both came in very handy at a separate wedding event I had days later. I would book with Uwa again for future events! Tip: She gets a ton of texts and you may not hear back same-day. She encourages clients to reach out again if she is not responsive within a reasonable amount time.

I’ve been to makeup trials before where the artist expects you to know what you want but I’m sorry, most of us only have ideas and not specifics. So this method helped loads bc I’m not well versed in makeup as much as I thought I was. She also gave me so many suggestions on how to prep my skin and take care of my skin in the months leading to my wedding bc my skin was dryer than the Saharan desert on my trial day. Truly. She recommended great products and skin treatments that I should invest in and let me tell you, on my wedding day, my makeup was not cakey at all and stayed the whole night. So not only did I look good, I felt good too. I would definitely recommend Uwa’s artistry to anyone looking for a patient, personable and professional artist that actually listens to help and create a look WITH you. I was impressed by her work, both on her website and Instagram page. Anne was professional, communicative and talented. I wasn’t able to complete a trial hair and makeup, so I relied on explaining my desires through emails and pictures to Anne. On the day of, Anne arrived on time. She was able to complete my makeup and 2 bridal makeup’s before our estimated time, indicated on our wedding timeline. I couldn’t have been happier with her work. She nailed every one of my request and had me and the bridal party looking exceptionally beautiful. The makeup lasted all day and night and showed up well in all my photos. Her expertise and experience really did make the whole process flawless. You can’t go wrong with hiring Anne for any occasion.

My bridal party was basically the United Colors of Bennaton and I'm telling you she made every single one of my bridesmaids look absolutely stunning. I was so impressed. I also really enjoyed getting to know Anne and she connected me with a wonderful "Weavologist"😅😂 Chidema who helped me put in my INCHES baby!!!! Per her request, I shared my inspo look a couple weeks in advance of my wedding day. And when the day came, Anne came correct and went beyond my expectations!! I really wanted to book her because I followed her instagram and loved her work. Although she already had an appointment on my wedding day she checked her schedule and made the time and room necessary to book my date. We set up a trial and she was so down to earth. The trial makeup was beautiful but I wasn't sure it would match my dress. I changed my mind and was able to email my Anne my thoughts and considerations even after I had left. On the wedding day everything was perfect. I was in love with my makeup and was so glad that I had booked an artist that allowed to actually voice what I wanted and listened.
