Having our wedding at Valenzano was a dream. Everything went so perfectly! Our Maître'D did and the rest of the Summit Catering staff did a fantastic job attending to my husband and I, as well as everyone else. The food was out of this world, and the DJ did not miss a beat.
It was an amazing day, and I recommend Valenzano and Summit Catering to anyone who is interested!
This winery has Napa vibes in New Jersey. We loved it! Cocktail hour in the barrel room was a huge highlight. Summit Catering is the BEST.
Me and my husband had our wedding at Valenzano Winery in January 2020. We had our wedding in the main ballroom and it was beyond our expectations. The ballroom was so beautifully decorated. Our guests LOVED having our cocktail hour in their barrel room. Everyone loved this venue. It is rustic, elegant, and different! I would definitely recommend anyone looking to have a wedding in NJ and loves wine to book Valenzano Winery for their wedding! We are so happy to have chosen Valenzano Winery as our venue site for our wedding day.
From day one tour of Valenzano winery
I had a glowing smile and knew this was the place I wanted to get married and celebrate with our family and friends. Due Amici was our caterer and Erika was our coordinator.
From our taste test to planning out our day we had nothing but confidence that our expectations were nothing less then the Best! All our family &friends raved about how beautiful our wedding was and how delicious and over the top the food was.
We ate at Due Amici's several times before our wedding day and enjoyed many taste test visits to Valenzano winery. With no doubt we will keep both places for visiting eating and drinking wine on our #1 places to go...recommend and you will not be disappointed!
Hands down the Best venue to have your wedding if your looking to book a winery! The food was amazing and delish, all my guests raved about the exceptional food and service they received the night of our wedding! Both Dan and Erika made our wedding day perfect in every way! I had issues with my photographer that they assisted us with and truly helped make our day and my vision become a reality so it was everything I dreamed and more! If your looking to book a venue that’s not only beautiful but want top notch service and catering definitely choose Valenzano Winery and make sure to book Due Amici you won’t be disappointed!!!
Absolutely loved our November wedding at Valenzano. Use Due Amici!
Beautiful location for our wedding! We couldn't have chosen a better place!
Our ceremony and reception were held at Valenzano Winery, and we couldn't have been happier. Everyone said ours was "the best wedding ever." They paid great attention to details and made our wedding day one to remember.
WE got married at the outdoor venue - Vintners Pavillion, It is a GORGEOUS venue. It is not a stuffy ballroom where youre either at the bar or table or dance floor. You could be in the air conditioned wine house, the dance floor, on a couch around one of the firepits, on the dancefloor, roaming around the vines, under the pavillion at your table, or under a gazebo. We noticed so many people who didnt even know each other were mingling. Our pictures are stunning naturally, so I brought in minimal decor. People are still talking about it :)
My fiancé and I booked our May 2018 wedding at the vintners pavilion with high expectAtions. We booked in May of 2017, and January 2, 2018 I received a phone call that the winery double booked and we were being kicked out. If we had received this call a week or even a month after booking, we could have moved things around to make it work. The caterers that we had booked were great and tried to help us find a solution, but when I called the winery to discuss what had happened, he acted as if it wasn’t a big deal, and I should just change my wedding date. There was no attempt by the winery to reach out to us or to apologize for the situation at all. I should also mention that my fiancé and I live 2100 miles away (we are both from NJ so our wedding will be here) so we were forced to replan an entire wedding without even seeing our new venue.
This venue is beautiful and it was the perfect space for our wedding!! We had just over 200 guests who fit perfectly in the Winemakers ball room. We got endless compliments on this venue. The barrel room was the space for cocktail hour and it was also perfect. We used a caterer from their preferred catering list (catering by Vitarelli's) and we were extremely pleased with them as well.
Our wedding was at the Vinters Pavillion location. It was a beautiful outdoor venue with a covered pavilion and enclosed wine bar. I would recommend if you are interested in an outdoor venue. Mid October was perfect weather for this venue as it was warm without being too hot.
Pros:
roomy while maintaining intimate party feel
covered table area
beautiful natural decorations and garden area
guests loved the couches and outdoor fire pits
plenty of onsite parking
private space for your event alone
Cons: mainly due to being outdoors
minimal coverage if there is a chance of rain
a bit windy
it is not the main wine house so it is important to be clear about the different address when informing guests and vendors
~35 min from most large hotels in cherry hill area
Loved Valenzano soooo much!! It is a beautiful venue for wedding! It was the last place we looked at and we are so thankful we got there! Best decision ever! We used Vitarellis catering and they were great! We visited the winery numerous times during the planning and the staff could not have been more accomodating! They made sure we had plenty of wine tastings and were especially kind to my elderly parents! The day was gorgeous and we used the barrel room for cocktails and dessers which I highly recommend! Thank you to all! We had a wonderful wedding!!
We had our September 30th wedding at Valenzano and it was absolutely amazing. The outdoor ceremony space and vineyards were a breathtaking backdrop to the most perfect day ever! Our guests were IN LOVE with the barrel room where our cocktail hour was held. Everyone was so impressed with how unique the setting was. Our reception was held in the grand ballroom and it was so perfect. The outdoor area was set up with a fire pit which our guests loved! And the bridal suite was a perfect little respite to take a moment to ourselves during the hectic day. Absolutely stunning and the perfect place to host the most amazing day of our lives!
The Vintner's Pavilion at Valenzano was the most perfect location for our ceremony and reception. If you are looking for something a little different than a ballroom setting, this is the place. From the landscaping, the fire pits, the wine barn, and everything else in between was truly perfect. There were so many different wines to choose from in our package and they were all a hit... which leads me into our caterer. Due Amici was hands down the best decision we could have made for our wedding.. Erika, Dan and the rest of the crew at Due Amici were a dream to work with. Erika was our coordinator from day one and she was on the ball from the first meeting up until the wedding day. There was absolutely no stress involved in the planning what so ever. Not to mention, their food is AMAZING and they are so reasonably priced for what you are getting. I would not have changed a thing! Thank you all for making this the most amazing day for us.
The combination of Valenzano Winery and Due Amici is what made our day perfect - I wish so bad to relive this day, every day!
Valenzano was the perfect place to have an outdoor ceremony, a cool cocktail hour, and a beautiful reception. We had our wedding at the grand ballroom and it was beautiful. The vineyard is great for pictures and all of our guests loved the barrel room which is the reason why me and my husband choose this location to begin with. The bartenders here were amazing and it was really cool that you can utilize their wine during the reception. They even let people take wine into the ceremony if you're getting married outside! loved it!
Valenzano was a beautiful setting for our July wedding. We used their winemakers ballroom space and had our ceremony outside. It was absolutely stunning and the wine was as always delicious! Everyone made comments about how beautiful the venue was and loved how they had access to all the rooms at all times during the wedding. Highly recommend especially if you are looking for a rustic feel!
I’ve always known I wanted to get married at Valenzano Winery. It’s such a beautiful place, the staff are awesome, and the wine is delicious. Our guests loved the barrel room, which was such a unique space for cocktail hour. The bridal suite was great too – although there needs to be a hook somewhere in the room to hang the dress! The only comment I have is that you have to pay to get there early, which was a little frustrating. The only way to work out my limo timing was to have the girls dropped off at 3:45 instead of 4, and we ended up having to stand outside because we weren’t allowed in yet (come on!). They book up fast though, so be prepared for that. We got engaged in February, 2015 and had to get married on a Friday in May, 2017 because all the Saturdays were booked! Overall my wedding was everything I could’ve hoped for and I can’t wait to see the beautiful pictures in the vineyard!
We recently had our wedding at Valenzano on April 15, 2017. I have to say that I was overwhelming pleased with how everything turned out. The venue is just absolutely beautiful and really helped to create the feeling that we were looking for. We had our ceremony outside facing the water fountain which was just amazing! Our reception was in the ballroom and the cocktail hour was in the barrel room. The barrel room was the chatter of the evening, our guests just thought that it was one of the neatest things that they have seen. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone that is looking for a little bit of a rustic feel and to anyone that loves wine like we do!
Valenzanos is the perfect venue to hold your wedding if you want something different and unique. The best part about hosting your wedding here is that it is personalized to you and your party, they do not have multiple weddings going on at once. It's a beautiful, clean venue that has a ton of space to accommodate all wedding sizes. The front tasting room is always decorated for the seasons. The patio where you can walk out onto the vineyard allows for the perfect space for guests to step out for fresh air. And I can't forget about cocktail hour which is hosting in the barrel room- soo unique and different! We were getting compliments on that the entire night. The vineyard itself is a beautiful spot to take pictures in.
The Valenzano's family is extremely accommodating and will work with you to tailor to your wedding needs. We had a wonderful experience, if you want to do a vineyard or something different, for sure this is a space worth checking out!
We got married at Vintner’s Pavilion at Valenzano Winery on July 9, 2016. When we were looking for wedding venues, we were looking for an outdoor tented venue that could have more of a laid back relaxing atmosphere rather than the traditional ballroom wedding. Even seeing the pavilion in the middle of winter we knew it was the one. About a month after we booked our date with our caterer Due Amici, we got a phone call saying that the owners of the pavilion were going to redo it before our wedding date and we would be one of the first weddings there. We agreed and knew that whatever was going to be done would exceed our expectations. To our amazement, the owners added 4 fire pits with couches, renovated the actual pavilion with stone, expanded the dance floor with bluish pavers, and updated the wine house, not to mention the expansive landscaping. It blew us away when we went to go see it two weeks before our wedding. Having booked this type of venue for the middle of the summer we knew we were taking a risk between rain and the heat. We ended up having to tent the walkways and dance floor due to a high chance of rain, however after doing that we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Our ceremony was in front of the vineyard and our cocktail and reception seamlessly flowed together. Our guests were able to eat their dinner at their tables under the pavilion, or taste wine in the air conditioned wine house, possibly lounge by the fire pits, play a game of corn hole in the grass, or just hit the dance floor with the band. This venue with our caterer Due Amici allowed us to put our vision into reality. We had the perfect wedding day and highly recommend this venue for anyone who wants something a little out of the ordinary!
We had our wedding last Friday night at Valenzano in the ballroom. It was the perfect venue for our fall wedding! Our guests were amazed with the cocktail hour in the barrel room and raved about the wines. We love Valenzano's wine! Thank you for making our wedding beautiful!!!!
For any bride out there looking for a beautiful winery wedding you must think about the pros and cons of having your venue at a winery.
I was not informed of certain things that I could not have at my wedding reception just due to the fact that it was being held at a winery.
Valenzanos had a lot of rules and regulations. The venue was beautiful, but if you're having a night wedding or reception, you will not get to see the vineyards at all because there's no lights to display them. This was very disappointing for my pictures.
Another important note is everyone over 21 automatically has a $10 wine fee charge from the winery. Even if they don't drink, or even if they don't drink wine, you still are mandated to pay this fee. A lot of my family does not drink at all so this was kind of a huge wasted expence for me, but I loved the wine.
All in all my reception was beautiful and the perfect background for my rustic wedding.
We had a June wedding at the Vintner's Pavilion at Valenzano Winery,
1320 Old Indian Mills Road Shamong NJ 08088
and planned for every eventuality. Our guest total was 73, but the pavilion comfortably holds up to 120 people according to Summit Catering, who is affiliated with the venue. Besides the pavilion and wine house for the reception, we did have a ceremony tent in place by the grape archway.
Everything worked wonderfully. The pavilion has a lot of natural landscaping around it, so I used minimal flowers during the reception and ceremony, which cut down a lot on costs. Also, the pavilion is equipped with fans (for cooling) and has walls on three sides looking out to the central garden and dance floor, which provides ample shelter during the t-storms and downpour that hit during the middle of our wedding. The wine house also has ac, for those guests that need it and the bar was located there as well.
It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an outdoor wedding, with plenty of options in case of inclement weather.
My husband and I visited many different venues and were looking for something that was simple and elegant. The winemaker's ballroom was just that. We loved the unique setting of a winery, and received so many complements on it.
The tasting room was beautiful and provided a great backdrop to cocktail hour as well as a quiet area for people to socialize during the wedding if they weren't interested in dancing. Many people did take advantage of the wine tastings during the reception. Since the weather for our wedding day was nice many other people went outside on the patio & in the vineyard before sunset.
When we visited to tour (all drop-in), the staff at Valenzano tasting room didn't have much information about booking the ballroom. We booked through a caterer on their accepted vendor list, Due Amici. Dan & Erika at Due Amici were great to work with, and they put on an amazing event for us (reviewed separately).
My husband and I participated in a television competition about weddings and we won!! I would 100% recommend this venue! :)
We got married at the winery on a Friday night in August. We chose to have the ceremony on site, alongside the vines, facing the fountain. So beautiful!
Cocktail hour was in the barrel room and people could not stop talking about how awesome that room was.
The Winemakers Ballroom was perfect for our 180 guests.
We will be making it a tradition to share a bottle of Valenzano wine on our anniversary! :)
We had our wedding at the old Vintner's Pavilion (all outdoor location) and it was just beautiful. The best rustic feel of a vineyard sight that we saw in NJ. The outdoor lights and flowers made it magical, and people were free to walk around all night which is a big plus for non-dancers, etc. The atmosphere of this place definitely helped it to be the wedding of our dreams :) side note: you have to use an outside caterer for this venue. They give you 8 options I believe. We used Eric from Mastori's and he was unbelievable. I'll review him separately.
While you have to go to an off-site caterer to make the arrangements for this location, I couldn't have been happier with the place we picked to hold our wedding. The grounds are gorgeous, and fortunately for us, they have the flexibility of holding either an outside or inside wedding ceremony. Since it ended up being rainy and cold the day of our wedding, I was so happy that we had this option!
This was the first venue we looked at and by far the nicest. I wanted neutral colors and no crazy decor. I was also not a huge fan of chandlers and having a ton of weddings happening at the same time. The winery met these requirements. We thought the bar in the ballroom was really beautiful and really added a lot to the rustic feel. You have to pick from their approved caterers, which was fine for us because Summit had been recommended by friends. We really liked the rustic elegance of the winery, the out door picture opportunities, and being able to have cocktail hour outside on the patio.
The drawbacks were this place is very popular so we had to book over a year in advance. There is a large site fee and another fee if you want to use the barrel room for cocktail hour. We didn’t use the barrel room for cocktail hour since it wasn’t in our budget. We also got married in a church so didn’t have the ceremony there, but there is an additional ceremony site fee. We had to pay $8 per person for wine, which we thought was a lot, and I believe they raised it. However, the wine did work out because most guests drank the wine and we ended spending very little for liquor. We toasted with the included white wine to save money that worked out fine.
We stopped in the winery a ton before our wedding and they were always very welcoming and allowed us to wander wherever we wanted. But shortly before the wedding we got a notice saying we couldn’t get into the facility for pictures before the start of our cocktail hour. This upset me, but I decided I was just going to do whatever I wanted the day of our wedding. Everything ended up running late so we only arrived about 10 minutes early to the winery. I am not sure if they would have asked me to leave if I had been there early. We also ended up staying about 30 to 45 minutes after the wedding taking more pictures and no one gave us a hard time about staying. Overall we loved our reception at Valenzano.
My December wedding at the Valenzano Winery was more than I ever imagined. The ceremony in front of the fireplace, the cocktail hour in the barrel room, and our reception in the ballroom was unbelievably beautiful. All the times I had been in the winery previously, I never imagined it could look this amazing. Thanks to our caterer Antony & Cleopatra's everything ran smoothly and the food was spectacular. Our parents were so pleased with how everything came together and we are just so happy! Anything I wanted or needed, all I had to do was ask and I felt comfortable doing so. The transition from ceremony to reception was done in a flash and all of our guests are still raving about what a great wedding it was! Thank you to the Valenzano family and Anthony & Cleopatra's!!!!
Valenzano Winery was the second venue out of 15 that my mother and I were looking at. Valenzano Winery was the last venue that my mother and I looked at. We were blown away when we walked into the Ballroom. And to be able to have our reception at the Pavilion, a mile down the road, outside in the vineyards added to my dream wedding. I could not have imagined my wedding anywhere else.
The Valenzano Winery was the PERFECT setting for our wedding. We were able to have the ceremony outside in front of the beautiful vineyards which provided the perfect background for pictures. The patio was set up for happy hour so guests could choose to be inside or outside on that beautiful day. The Ballroom was the perfect size and set a classy mood for the reception. I received so many compliments! The tastings during happy hour and the reception were also a BONUS that many of the guests really loved, especially ones who had never been to the winery before and weren't sure which wines they would like to drink. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
I cannot say better things about Valenzano Winery- especially the owner, Tony. We had a major issue with our wedding planner, when close to $5000 of cash disappeared. When this happened, Tony could not have been more helpful. Even though he did nothing wrong and was not responsible for what happened, he absorbed many of the additional costs we needed to face when we had to practically start over, one month before the wedding date.
Vintner's Pavilion, which is the ourdoor space at Valenzano Winery, is the most beautiful venue I've ever seen. Your guests will have tons of space to enjoy the evening and can even dance under the stars. This location is great for a wedding with a "garden party" feel, and can be dressed up to be so chic. Our guests raved about the location and how unique and beautiful it was. If you want a venue which is different from every other wedding you've been to, and more beautiful than 4 walls a ceiling and a floor, this is the place for you. The family that owns this establishment are fantastic people, and I will never be able to thank them enough for their help and support. BOOK YOUR WEDDING HERE!
Valenzano's winery is absouletly amazing! Beautiful, romantic winery with a rustic touch! My wedding reception was truly perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything more nor can i imagine anything better! The service was excellent!
The Valenzano Winery was absolutely perfect!!! We received so many compliments on the winery. Its beautiful and has many great photo opportunities!!!
Huge room, nice family!
Fabulous venue! So nice to have a wedding venue that's unique and not a hotel or country club. Absolutely loved having our cocktail hour in the barrel room!!!
My husband and I wanted a nontraditional (not your average ballroom facility with the bad carpet, wallpaper, etc.) venue and wanted to be married outside. We fell in love with Valenzano's new facilities right away: we could have our ceremony outside overlooking the vines. Unfortunately, 14 months after we booked the venue and started the last minute details the winery was BAD. Suddenly policies were changing or new ones showed up we hadn't been told about. They keep their public tasting room open until 4pm on Saturdays so you can't have a ceremony until 5:30pm. That means you have to do pictures before the wedding(we wanted to anyway) and were told when we booked we could come in 3 hours before the wedding to do pictures. The week before suddenly we weren't allowed to do that. I had to beg, bargain, and then get insistent that those were the terms of our contract to be allowed in for photos. They locked my husband and I out of the winery, and had the doors still locked 10 minutes after we paid to have guests allowed to arrive. The winery employees were very rude about unlocking the door and letting us into the venue for our own wedding that we paid to use. It was ridiculous. We still had a beautiful wedding thanks to our fabulous caterer (Summit Catering!) but if we had to do it again we'd opt to get married in my parents backyard and avoid all the drama the winery put us through.
Not to be mistaken with their new ball room location the pavilion was just what we wanted for our small wedding. Lovely backdrops, quiet and you don't get swallowed up by a space that's too big. It was everything I wanted for our wedding. Oh and wonderful wine!
We loved Valenzano Winery! The ballroom was the perfect size for our wedding. It felt warm and inviting and the guests loved the wine. We had an open bar but the guests ended up drinking more wine than anything else!
we were very happy with our wedding venue. valenzano winery is a beautiful venue that is updated and original. we were attracted to the outdoor ceremony space initially, but enjoyed the fire side ceremony since it rained (good luck!). our guests LOVED the wine tasting package and many ended up buying wine, since they enjoyed it so much.
Valenzano Winery's Winemaker's Ballroom is breathtakingly beautiful! We had the place to ourselves and had access to the wine tasting room, ballroom, outside patio (which overlooked the vineyard), and the barrel room. My pictures were gorgeous..I could not be happier with this venue! My catering company did great too. We used Summit Catering. I highly recommend that if you go with Valenzano Winery, you also go with Summit because they were the best. Everyone loved the food and the service was amazing!
It was my dream wedding...ceremony on site pavillion for eating and dancing under the stars...
