Jordan gave us the cake of our dreams! She took our license to ‘have fun and be creative’ to heart and we couldn’t be more thrilled. Our guests loved the blueberry & lemon combination and also enjoyed the assortment of mini cupcakes. Our cake was delivered to the venue without a hitch and she worked with the restaurant staff to ensure everything was perfect. Highly recommend !

I highly recommend all your baked good needs for your wedding. I worked with Jordan in designing my husband's Star Wars cake while still looking like a wedding cake as our top tier. My husband and I got to pick cake flavors to try them at home together with their vegan and regular frostings. We were able to creating unique flavor combinations for our cupcakes in lieu of a multi-tiered wedding cake. We were also about to rent the cupcake tower from Velvet Sky. They delivered and set up the cake and cupcakes for us which made the day stress-free. Jordan was great to work with and good communication throughout the process. All my guests loved the vegan and regular cupcakes and they are all reasonably priced. Vegan cupcakes tastes as good as the regular ones that guests couldn't tell. I would highly recommend Velvet Sky for all baked needs not even for your wedding.

I was a little worried initially since we didn’t get to do a tasting owing to Covid. But I have to say the the cake Jordan and Velvet Sky created for me was not only stunningly beautiful and exactly what I envisioned but it was also the best wedding cake I’ve ever had (and I’m not being partial). Jordan was so easy to work with and we have received so many compliments on our cake. Highly recommend Velvet Sky!!!

Last minute order was more perfect than I could have asked for! We had a small family “wedding” party that was supposed to be at a grand venue, but was impossible due to Covid restrictions. I wanted to make it special so I called Velvet Sky based on the pictures from their website. Soooo glad that I did — and — I found my “forever” bakery!!!! This was my first order with them and I can say that they won me over for sure! They will be my go-to bakery for special events and even when I just need to feed my sweet tooth. I ordered a small cake and 30 cupcakes. Our guests were all raving about them and all asked “where did you get THAT cake and THOSE cupcakes?!!!” Jordan did EXACTLY what I asked for - a simple and elegant cake….it was absolutely stunning!!! You can’t go wrong with Velvet Sky. They made our mini wedding reception, glamorous, elegant and sooooo delicious!!! Thank you, VELVET SKY!!!! 🤗

Velvet Sky made mini cupcakes for our wedding this past weekend and they were AMAZING. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how great all the different flavors were. Not only were the cupcakes (and a last second birthday cake!) delicious but Jordan is a breeze to work with. Would definitely recommend!

Jordan was fantastic to work with, extremely talented and made all of our little detailed ideas come to life for our wedding cake. It was beautiful and delicious!

First things first, our experience with Velvet Sky was a highlight of our wedding - the cupcakes were gorgeously arranged, absolutely delicious, and all our guests loved them! Our assumption was 'wedding cake is never that great', but I knew I could count on wedding cakes the guests would truly love. I knew as soon as I started planning my wedding that I wanted to get a cake or cupcakes from Velvet Sky - I used to work near the bakery when it was a storefront, and Jordan's cupcakes have been the gold standard of cupcakes for me ever since! Her icing flavors are so delicious - the peanut butter is a personal favorite! - and are the perfect not-too-sweet, silky smooth buttercream. The cakes are so flavorful and moist. We did an assortment of mini-cupcakes of 6 different flavors for our wedding (including a dozen gluten-free, which are also delicious!), plus a few small cakes with fruit filling. Jordan was very easy to work with, very professional and did a BEAUTIFUL job setting the cupcakes up, including little illustrated signs to explain the flavors. The small cakes were really tasty - I only tried the lemon filling, but it was very nice and lemony! Our only complaint, if I could call it that, is that the assumption of 2 mini cupcakes per person proved to be a little low, as people were so eager to try them all that they took more than 2 and we ran out very quickly. I think if we'd had only 2 flavors this wouldn't have occurred, but if you go for multiple flavors, I'd count on more like 3 minis per person! Thanks again Jordan!!

Jordan is an incredible baker and the easiest person to work with. When we went for our tasting, she talked us through different design types and pricing options. Sometimes wedding cake is not that great, let's be honest. But NOT with Velvet Sky. This is wedding cake you want to make sure you get a piece of. I didn't get any on the actual wedding day, but when I went to pick it up and there was extra - I was SO stoked. We still have some frozen and I cannot wait to eat more of it! Delicious!

Velvet Sky Bakery was a great! The cake was delicious and the design really coincided with type of people my husband and I are. The design of the cake was elegant, simple, and the little accents that reflected our personality as a couple made it that much more unique and special for when we cut that first piece together. Our consultation was very thorough and when we walked away, we couldn't feel more confident in our decision. They have a great variety of flavor combinations. And if you're like us and come up with two distinctly different flavor profiles, Velvet Sky Bakery made the union of the two flavor combos effortless and fun for our guest to choose and try both types. We would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a cake designer.

This bakery was the preferred vendor for my daughter's wedding on April 16, 2016. After the tasting at the hotel my daughter, son in law and I went to the Velvet Sky bakery to meet with the owner Jordan Harvey feeling it was important to meet the owner and baker in person. Jordan was hired to make the wedding cake for their special day. I asked who delivers the cake and Jordan told us she does as she doesn't trust anyone else to do that. The day of the wedding she couldn't find the cake topper which was hand delivered to her bakery well in advance of the wedding day as she requested. Jordan came to the hotel and set up the cake knowing she didn't have the topper. The banquet manager was asked if she had it yet she didn't go and look for it at that time. When she discovered she didn't have it Jordan was contacted by phone, text and e mail. Those communications were never answered that day. Jordan was heard from the following day with the news that the topper was found at her bakery. The bride and groom requested a reasonable solution to resolve this issue which was rejected by Jordan. This has not been resolved. Jordan had several hours to do something the day of the wedding and she became completely unavailable. The level of customer service, responsibility and professionalism is so low with regard to this matter it defies any explanation. It is beyond me that nothing has been done to resolve this. My issue isn't the design or taste of the wedding cake, it is the poor customer service. How does a wedding cake baker or anyone hired to do this fail to give the couple the wedding cake they were hired to give them. If you want to be sure you get the wedding cake of your dreams, which was fully discussed I would not recommend this venue. As for any baker you choose for your wedding cake, be sure to get everything in writing, go meet with them in person and lastly assign someone to be in charge that you pick to be sure everything is done the way you want the day of the wedding. Our wedding cake was amazing! Not only was it beautiful, it was also so delicious. Jordan was awesome to work with and was able to design our cake to match our vision perfectly. Her suggestions for design were always spot on and the end result was a gorgeous cake.They were able to accommodate my nut allergy which was extremely important. I highly recommend Velvet Sky Bakery

OUTSTANDING! We were from out of town, so took the advice of our hotel to select the Baker. Our communication was over the phone and via email, however Jordan captured exactly what we wanted in our cake - the design, the colors and the flavors. It was perfect. The hotel organized a cake tasting, which was super fun and the bakery certainly delivered on the product. It was excellent.

We got our wedding cake free as part of our venue package. It was supposed to be a free two tier cake but as we wanted a larger cake for more impact we ended up paying $2 a head for an extra tier. We had a cake tasting at our wedding venue and they brought over small individual cakes of different flavors, with different fillings and frostings. We went for a red velvet with white icing and cream cheese filling. We also showed them our inspiration photos of what we wanted. They executed the cake amazingly. The cake actually tasted so much better on the wedding day than the small tasting samples, which we found hard to believe. I would certainly use this bakery again for any occassion.

We had such a good experience with Jordan and the staff at Velvet Sky we frequently go in and get gluten free cupcakes and our wedding cake was beautiful! Jordan was wonderful to work with and we gave her ideas and the day we saw our cake we were blown away by her artistic work!! The blueberry with lemon buttercream icing is outstanding..so was our top tier of Red Velvet!! Highly recommend!

Did a fabulous job. My husband doesn't like cake at all, however this was the best cake he's ever had. They did a great job at designing our custom cake that was a hit at the wedding ... very modern, fun, bright colors and fondant. They were so good we had them do cupcakes for the bridal shower and tastings for our family and bridal party. ALl my guest said that it was the best wedding cake they ever tasted. We also got our cake topper through them.

I met with the baker at Velvet Sky Bakery armed only with my invitation, and he came up with a fantastic design for our wedding cake. We were thrilled with the flavor choices (including a custom "funfetti" cupcake at the request of the groom), and the presentation was lovely. Our guests all loved their cupcakes, and it was a great alternative to the traditional wedding cake.

We used velvet sky for our wedding cupcakes in lieu of a cake. They were perfect!! Delicious and moist! Pete created a monogram for our cupcakes and it was exactly what we wanted!
