The story of Walnut Grove Farm began in the summer of 2023 when three brothers purchased the property. Today, it acts as a stunning, intimate wedding venue that welcomes guests to celebrate and craft memories they'll cherish for years to come. The farm contains a beautiful outdoor ceremony site surrounded by towering trees, colorful blooms, and untouched wilderness. Here, photographers can capture countless beautiful moments as you exchange your most sincere vows with your partner-to-be. What's more, the venue contains several on-site accommodations, allowing you to host a restful weekend wedding with family and friends.
Before the big day, you can arrange a free consultation with the team to begin planning the most important day of your life. Walnut Grove Farm offers a range of comprehensive packages for wedding events, such as the 'Simply Yours.' This deal includes a ceremony in the garden with up to 50 guests, followed by a wedding reception. You'll have access to old church pew seating for the ceremony and six farm tables for the reception. Alternatively, if you're planning an elopement, 'Whispers & Wildflowers' is a great choice. It offers the garden ceremony site and seating for up to 12 wedding guests.

Originally from Alaska, Ian fell in love with the beauty and charm of the Shenandoah Valley, where he met his wife and started his family. With over 16 years of experience in the wedding industry, Ian brings creativity, passion, and a deep understanding of what makes each celebration unique.
In addition to owning and operating Walnut Grove Farm, Ian is the founder of Toy Box Studios, a videography and photography company that has been capturing weddings and special events for more than 16 years. He’s also the mastermind behind Honey & Hops Brewery, which specializes in mead, and the owner of An Affair To Remember Video, a media digitization studio dedicated to preserving cherished memories.
Ian’s background in storytelling, artistry, and hospitality shines through in every event hosted at Walnut Grove Farm, where he’s committed to helping couples create unforgettable experiences surrounded by the natural beauty of Virginia’s countryside.
