Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel was the absolute best. The cocktail hour and reception were absolutely wonderful. The chef was fantastic, the service was unbelievable and Brittany Blair (the head planner) made sure our day was above and beyond our expectations. Brittany's attention to detail, her customer service and her overall demeanor made our day the absolute best, and the planning process so easy!!! I wish we could relive the day over and over. If you are considering this venue, I highly recommend it, there is not one thing I could say that was negative. The chef was amazing, the food was amazing. I am still hearing from our guests on how it was the best wedding meal they ever had! Everything was on time, everything was organized, the room looked unbelievable. Thank you to the whole staff at Harbor Hotel for making our day so so so special!!!

We got married at Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel last month. Our coordinator, Brittany, was fantastic. She was very responsive and sweet to work with! The venue itself is in a perfect location right on the lake. The sunsets there are incredible. The food was delicious; Chef Sean is very talented and accommodating! The hotel staff took care of all of the set up and tear down for the wedding which was a huge lift for us. The guest rooms are also very comfortable. We heard a lot of compliments from our guests about how nice everything was at the hotel and wedding. We also heard from multiple vendors that they've enjoyed working with Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel!

My wife and I knew before we even were engaged that the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel is where we wanted to have our wedding reception. We had visited the hotel many times before our engagement and cannot say enough good things about the level of service, attention to detail, accommodations and the beauty of the hotel and surrounding area. When we began our wedding planning, Brittany, Heather and Stephanie at the hotel blew away even our highest expectations. From the first phone call to the day of our wedding, this event/wedding coordination team had every little detailed planned out with us and under control. They were so helpful at every step of the way, from vendor recommendations, to planning the cocktail hour and reception decorations, to the flow of our special day, this team was on top of every single thing we could think of and more. The staff did a fantastic job in transforming the Harbor Ballroom into the reception venue of our dreams; I also can’t leave out how delicious the hors d’oeuvres and dinner were! From start to finish, Brittany, Heather and Stephanie were there to make our wedding planning as simple as possible, there was absolutely no need to hire a separate wedding planner with this team. We cannot say enough about the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel, thank you for making our day perfect!

The Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel was our first choice for our wedding because of our connection to Watkins Glen. Our wedding was nothing less then a fairy tale! From day one, they set us at ease about how easy it was going to be to plan the wedding. During the year they kept in touch with us about what we needed to do next. My husband and I had a private tasting. This was so much fun and educational. As a result, our buffet was just awesome and we didn't hear one bad review of anyone's meal. The chef even made the full buffet gluten free instead of just a few options. For the rehearsal dinner and the actual wedding day we were assigned two wedding coordinators that were simply amazing. They communicated with each other to make sure that my husband and I didn't see each other on that day, even though we were moving through the hotel during different parts of the day. They even helped my husband plan a special surprise for me for after the ceremony. There was nothing that didn't go as planned or expected. I just can't say enough about the staff. The venue is pricey, but well worth it in the end if you believe you get what you pay for!

I would like to express my complete and utter delight with our experience at the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel last month. I coordinated a wedding for my sister and her now husband, and at the time I had never heard of the hotel or having a wedding there. Then my sister booked her wedding there - without even asking a second opinion - just over a year ago! My sister had fallen in love at first sight with what they had to offer, and with the Wedding Coordinator, Ann, and it didn’t take long for me to understand why she did. The only hard part of working with Ann was learning how to spell her last name 😊. She was thorough, friendly, easy to work with, and delivered on every promise she made and then some. With every meeting we felt listened to and that all of our needs would be met. There was no idea or suggestion that she refused or even balked at, and we certainly challenged her with unusual requests! She made the planning process a breeze…and dare I say enjoyable? The wedding weekend was even better. We were all able to enjoy ourselves from the moment of arrival to the minute we dragged ourselves (unwillingly) out. Ann just “got it” – we brought pictures from Pinterest and watched as she and her staff transformed the ballroom into exactly what we had hoped and dreamed about for months. She anticipated our needs and met them before we asked before, during and after the ceremony. My sister and her husband have been hearing from dozens of people that this was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. Our one regret is that we are unable to give you repeat wedding business 😊, but if anyone asks, I wouldn’t hesitate for a moment to recommend Ann and the WGHH. I would easily award 10 stars! Kudos to the hotel and all the staff, you gave us the weekend of a lifetime.

Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel was Fantastic!! The Staff was so accommodating and tentative to all our requests and special needs.. Anne and Mary were a dream come true!! The Food was also Fantastic!! The guests were raving about it.. We couldn't of asked for anything better.. Thank you again for make my daughters wedding so perfect!!

This venue was simply amazing. Anne was wonderful and professional from the moment we met her when we were considering Harbor Hotel for our wedding reception. Anne catered to our every need and request and was always a step ahead. On the day of the wedding I didn’t even worry about the venue because I knew Anne and her team were going to do a beautiful job, and they did! It was a beautiful June evening so many of our guests spent a lot of time outdoors by the fire pit and Adirondack chairs. My husband and I are still getting rave reviews about our wedding from the food to the location. I would highly recommend this location for your wedding reception.

The most amazing day of our lives at a beyond beautiful venue! Anne, Mary and their team were incredible! They went above and beyond from day one in planning to the big day to make sure everything was as we dreamed. My husband and I CANNOT say enough amazing things about them, the hotel & our day! Where do I start?? Anne and Mary are a wedding DREAM TEAM! From start to finish, we were so very impressed with their attention to detail and attentiveness to our needs. I had a very specific picture in my head for our wedding. When I pulled into the parking lot of the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel I was already sold. It was immediately grand and welcoming from the outside and only continued to deliver walking through the door. Working with Anne & Mary my planning experience was so much fun. They helped with all aspects and were so great about suggestions and getting my questions answered. They truly are professionals of their field. Being an out of town bride we certainly had some interesting obstacles to over come, they both managed to make suggestions to make the actual day go so easy. Our flowers were transported in our cars from Buffalo and sadly one of the lilies in my bouquet had wilted. Anne asked if I would be comfortable having her try to fix it with the extra flowers we had. She did an amazing job, the bouquet was beautiful. Our day went down without a hitch, and every dream I had become a reality. If you are looking for outstanding service, amazingly delicious food, dedicated & personable consultants, a beautiful venue inside and out and something unique and memorable from the beginning of planning to the big day; then this is the venue for your special day! I cannot thank these ladies enough for everything they did for us!

The Harbor Hotel is a fantastic spot that my husband and I frequently go to for events or just good food and drinks to avoid the "townies". In my mind it was the last place I wanted to have my wedding. We looked at a dozen places from Ithaca to Alpine. I didn't get a good feeling from any of the staff or the place itself from any of the other vendors we visited. After touring the hotel and meeting with Anne, I walked out and said to my husband "I never thought I'd say this but I feel most comfortable having our wedding here". Anne was overly accommodating when we met with her; she made me feel extremely comfortable with every aspect of my wedding. Anne and Mary were both very responsive through the entire process. They helped when I asked, they recommended when I needed it, and they catered to us and our needs/wants. Both ladies were professional at all times and also could indulge in a little sense of humor to keep things light. On our wedding day a rain cloud (yes, just one!) rolled through right as our ceremony was about to begin. We had to make the call to have it inside. I am not the type to panic or get upset that my wedding ceremony can't be outside and oh dear the rain has ruined my day. The hotel staff had the inside room set up in minutes and corralled the guests accordingly. I trusted their skills in setting everything up as I would like it and they nailed it. Aside from these two wonderful planners, the food was absolutely amazing. Steaks were cooked perfectly, food was hot and out in a timely manner. The bartenders were overly nice in noticing my husband and I both at the bar and had our glasses full without even saying a word. I would say our day was flawless and we both enjoyed it so very much. I highly recommend the Harbor Hotel for fantastic service, a beautiful scenery, and going above and beyond in every way. Thank you to the Harbor Hotel and all of it's staff for such a great day that we will remember forever!

Absolutely loved our wedding day and it wouldn't have been the same without the help of Anne and Mary at the Harbor Hotel!! They spoke with us several times up until the big day and were always quick to respond to emails. They were incredibly accommodating, down to preparing a special meal for one guest with picky eating habits. They made our room beautiful on our wedding night complete with extra desserts and a bottle of champagne! They let us use a special room for the wedding after party at no cost and set up and tore down the entire wedding so the bridesmaids didn't have to lift a finger! They were right there to hold the door open for us as we entered the reception even. We felt completely confident that our big day would go exactly as planned thanks to them, and it definitely went above our expectations. Friends from Long Island every said it compared to a fancy LI wedding and so many people commented about how great the venue was. Would recommend if you want a fingerlakes wedding that can accommodate a large amount of people, complete with a great view for wedding photos!

From day one Anne and Mary were amazing and very helpful. They answered all my questions and I had a ton of questions every step of the way. The day of my wedding I knew I was in great hands and tried not to worry. They made my feel so calm and kept me up to date with what was going on. The venue itself is gorgeous and all of our guest commented on how beautiful it was. We were married in October and the scenery was amazing. Throughout the entire ceremony and reception things went flawless and everything was amazing. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants a stress free day at an amazing venue.

Not only is this venue amazing because you can have everything all in one place with a beautiful view and walkable to restaurants and downtown Watkins Glen (perfect for your out of town guests.) This venue is even better because of the incredible staff. They were more than helpful with everything leading up to our big day and more importantly they cover EVERYTHING the day off, seriously I did not have a worry in the world all day and everything went perfectly. Even on a rainy day they seamlessly moved the ceremony inside and made it look beautiful. Anne and Mary went above and beyond to make our special day perfect! This goes without saying, we HIGHLY recommend The Harbor Hotel!

The Harbor Hotel is highly recommended as a wedding venue! From day 1 of working with Anne & Mary, we had an entirely great experience. They were so easy to work with and were very responsive with our needs. I cannot say enough great things about them and their staff! They made our day go perfect and stress free. Anne & Mary thought of every detail that would go into a wedding and I couldn't not be happier with them! It's been a little over a month since our wedding and guests are still raving over the food, the view, the hotel rooms, etc. You will not be disappointed if you have your wedding here!!

Excellent venue that was beautiful and accommodating to all our needs. After searching for almost six months for a venue that had everything we wanted and we decided on the Harbor Hotel; we were not disappointed. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our big day was fun and stress free. The months leading up to the wedding the event planners were proactive in replying to any questions we might have had and going the extra mile to ensure we had everything we wanted. When it came time to our wedding the staff were with us every step of the way making sure that both me and my wife, and all of our guests had everything we could ask for. They did a fantastic job setting up the venue making it more beautiful than we could have imagined. I would definitely recommend this site to anyone, it may seem expensive but you get more than you pay for.

If you enjoy being told to get ready in the public bathroom on your big day, have half your flowers lost, not served all the proper food, and rushed through the progress of events, Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel is the wedding venue for you. Don’t worry, the front desk will refuse to clean your room, as they allow others in around you; the coordinator will be unreachable; and your food will look rubbery and undercooked. Maybe I’m getting ahead of myself. Those, plus more, were my horrible experience at this supposed number one lakeside lodging resort. If none of that has dissuaded you, also know, that when I tried to contact the General Manager, Carolyn, she added insult to injury. When I informed her of my complaints, she insinuated that I was lying, then proceeded to ignore me when she realized my schedule didn’t line up with the limited time slots she provided me. While Glen Harbor Hotel is a gorgeous place, and they seem friendly and helpful at first, it’s not worth chancing their true colors. The moment they had their last payment for the wedding, it was obvious I was no longer their concern.

My husband and I had our reception at the Harbor Hotel on April 23, 2016. When my husband and I got engaged I told him I wanted to look into having our reception at the Harbor Hotel because my sister had hers there and it was absolutely amazing. We started looking at different venues, but as soon as my husband saw the Harbor Hotel he loved it! We set up a time to met with Anne to go over all of the details and she was so welcoming, nice, organized, and made us excited about having our reception there. I am a planner and pay attention to every detail so when planning my wedding I had a lot of questions about everything! Anne and I sent tons of emails back and forth for over a year while planning the wedding to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. The menu tasting was fantastic and one of our favorite parts of wedding planning! We couldn't believe how much food we were provided with to taste! The day before our wedding I dropped off all of the items for the reception and met with Anne and Mary to ensure all of the final details were perfect! The day of our wedding we were so excited to get to the venue to see how everything turned out! It was amazing! The elegance of the reception hall and the set up of cocktail hour was more than we expected! we had guests telling us right away just how amazing and beautiful the hotel was! once the reception was over we headed back to our suite to find the bed turned down, rose petals, romantic music, a bottle of champagne, snacks, and a note from Anne and Mary congratulating us on our marriage! So sweet!!! Our guests had an amazing time and we heard how beautiful it was for months! Our wedding reception was absolutely everything we could have hoped for! I would highly recommend having a wedding at the Harbor Hotel!

This venue is set in a gorgeous area and has staff that will go above and beyond to make your day perfect. We had an absolutely amazing experience and I would highly, highly recommend you take a look at this venue. We booked it immediately and you should too!!!

We are so happy with our venue selection of the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel for our wedding on November 8, 2015. Not only were we thoroughly impressed, our guests were as well. The wedding coordinators did an exceptional job to ensure our wedding day was perfect. They knew just the right places to place wedding signs etc. They made sure everything went smoothly and even our guests noticed how on point and helpful they were. Our only minor drawback would be that we weren't informed that our cake top and extra cake was available until 12 days later. This was not a big deal to us at all, but just wanted to make mention of it so We give a full honest review. I would recommend and have recommended this venue to those who wish to have a stress-free, perfect wedding day!

Heather, Anne, and Rene are the Charlie’s Angels of weddings! The special event team remembered every nuance, from the signature drink to the candy buffet to the photo booth to finding a special place to hang a Kramer-esque portrait of the Seinfeld-loving groom painted by the mother-of-the-bride! The attention to detail was unparalleled. We got married on the Sunday of Labor Day, the third wedding of a whirlwind weekend for the staff. However, they never showed any signs of fatigue and made us and our guests feel like it was the first time all over again in their genuine enthusiasm – yet their professionalism was seasoned and polished. We planned the entire destination wedding from 450 miles away and it went flawlessly. We arrived on a Wednesday afternoon and turned an entire SUV of wedding accessories over to Heather, who had meticulous notes from Anne that she added to. There were some crates that I could barely begin to describe and Heather had already guessed the contents, she was so on top of it. Last minute requests (could we have access to a balcony room to get a shot of the wedding dress blowing in the breeze with the harbor in the background?) were accommodated with a smile, speed, and complete grace. The food was absolutely fantastic. We visited for a menu tasting in person nine months before the wedding and were blown away (this is from a former food reviewer). I had to manage my own expectations that there was no way the food would be as delicious during the actual reception, as cooking for six is much easier than cooking for 100+, and yet, the food was just as fabulous as our first taste! The ceremony was outdoor, the gardens were in full bloom and blocked most of the parking lot. Our guests loved being able to stroll by the harbor and enjoy the view of the boats. It created an incredible backdrop for our photos. The indoor reception was artfully arranged, they truly brought all the pieces of my vision for the wedding together to create a beautiful, romantic atmosphere. The most valuable thing about booking your wedding with Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel is the peace of mind. Once we turned everything over to the events team when we arrived, we were freed from thinking about the minor details and able to focus on the most important part of the day: taking our wedding vows and celebrating with friends and family. That is truly priceless service!

The Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel is not only a beautiful place to have your wedding and for your guests to stay, but the staff is extremely organized, professional and talented. Throughout the planning process the staff was timely in responding to any question I had. They were also helpful whenever I asked for a suggestion. During the wedding weekend they blew me away with their ability to pull off my wedding "vision" better than I could have imagined. Additionally they treated not only my groom and I with consistent service, always making sure we were comfortable, our food was good and we had what we needed, but also our entire bridal party and family. I would highly recommend the Watkins Glen Harbor Hotel.

A beautiful setting, great menus and food. Basic decorating ability, much of the beauty was over and above and through outside vendors. They need to be more detail oriented. The follow through on suggestions and requests was slow and the front desk did not seem to have any connection to the event. This led to some confusion for guests and vendors. Overall the wedding was lovely but not necessarily because of the efforts if the staff.

The perfect hotel. maybe a bit pricey, but worth it. So relaxing!

The venue was absolutey gorgeous and our guests were able to make a weekend out of it and explore parts of NY they had never seen before. The planners, managers, and caterers were fantastic and made it an amazing experience. The rooms are gorgeous!!!

I knew when this hotel opened in 2008 that this would be where I got married. The location is perfect for an outside ceremony. You are also right on the shore of Seneca Lake for bridal party photographs. I really enjoyed having a dollar minimum, rather than a person minimum for the reception, which made it great to personalize and add extra touches for our guests. The reception was perfect, I couldn't have asked for a better day!

I couldn't have asked for a better venue. We had our ceremony and reception there and it couldn't have been more perfect. Denise & Carolyn were a huge help!! Perfect location on the lake. It was absolutely breath taking and all of our guests loved it too!
