Wedding Atelier was a fantastic choice for finding "the dress"! I shared my vision with the sales associate, and she brought out 8 options. I ended up choosing the very first dress I tried on—it was absolutely perfect. The store itself is stunning, adding to the whole experience. I did have a tiny wish that we’d had the champagne toast like in the movies when I said yes to the dress, but it didn’t take away from the excitement. The fittings went smoothly, and everyone at the salon was incredibly helpful. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Wedding Atelier and would highly recommend them to any bride searching for their dream dress!

I had the absolute BEST experience at Wedding Atelier with Chloe. She was incredible at understanding what I liked and very quickly pulled a dress that I almost loved—she then recommended that designer’s trunk show, and I instantly fell in love with one of the two dresses from the collection that she brought. She has since been super communicative, she let me know right away when my dress arrived, and was super proactive in getting me to schedule my fitting appointments as it was all getting booked up. I’m forever grateful to Chloe and also everyone in the alterations department—they have thus far been super kind and helpful through the alteration process.

I had a fantastic experience here. Chloe, the stylist, was extremely efficient and experienced. She had a wonderful eye and ear -- she listened to my reactions with dresses and pulled subsequent dresses that responded directly to my feedback. She also encouraged me to go outside my comfort zone to narrow down the perfect style. I found my dresses during my appointment and the rest of the team was very kind and excited. It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend brides to come here!

Chloe was the BEST and nailed my vision and helped me find my perfect dress. I had my mother, future MIL and sister all traveled in from out of state so I really only had one weekend to find a dress. We went to 5 different appointments in NYC and NJ and were devastated that we couldn't really find anything that felt like ME and made me feel like a bride. We were about to give up, but decided to call Wedding Altier to see if they had any same day cancelations and could fit us in. They were able to accommodate us and we rush to get there. We showed up stressed and panicked but instantly loved the boutique. Chloe was meticulous, thoughtful and incredibly efficient. We only had 1 hour and she pulled a few dresses that she felt matched my vision, and few surprises. I fell in love with 2 almost instantly, one of which was a wild card. I ended up selecting one of them as my Dress. Wedding Atelier includes 3 fittings and has a flat alteration fee, which is a blessing. They were the most upscale, clean and professional boutique we went to all weekend. 10/10 recommend if your budget can meet their selection! ($3,000 and up - at the 4000-6000 you get a really great selection)

I tried on ~40-50 dresses at multiple other places that I was not a fan of before I saw a designer online that I really liked and a specific dress from this designer. I emailed multiple bridal boutiques in several cities where I travel frequently (NYC, Chicago, Boston) and Wedding Atelier was the first to respond that they had the dress in stock. I came in and my experience with Martuly was great - she was very helpful in my decision to by the dress, but she was not pushy or overbearing like I had experienced with other sales associates at other bridal boutiques. I also did my alterations with Wedding Atelier and my dress turned out so beautifully.

I cannot begin to express how unbelievable Martuly Louis is and how much I enjoyed looking for my wedding dress with her. She is kind, funny, incredibly perceptive, and deeply patient. Martuly instantaneously understood my inarticulate babble about what I was looking for and every dress she pulled was 100% my style. For someone who has a lot of anxiety about wedding dress shopping and weddings in general, Martuly immediately got our group's vibe and our sense of humor and honestly she felt like a friend by the end of the appointment. She has a clear point of view but was NEVER remotely pushy and was incredibly patient with me--even when I gave her conflicting information. I cannot imagine having my first bridal appointment with anyone else and feel so lucky to have stumbled into Wedding Atelier. (Shout out to Jenna who was also amazing and had a fantastic eye as well!)

I said yes to the dress! The selection was top notch and in the end I was choosing between 2 beautiful dresses. Chloe was amazing. She understood my style and preferences immediately and made me feel very comfortable. I did not expect to fall in love with a dress and I did.

Wedding Atelier made my bridal experience so wonderful and so easy! Martuly helped me try many dresses on, but the first dress I tried on was so me and that was the one I chose. She helped me customize as well and had such a friendly and fun vibe. Mae who tailored my dress was so sweet and made everything so easy. They are very organized and dependable and that is something I definitely wanted in a company who would help me find my dream dress. I highly recommend them!

I had a deeply mixed experience with Wedding Atelier, where I got my wedding dress for my October 2022 wedding.: - The good: I got my perfect dress, tailored correctly and ready for my wedding day. After checking out many bridal salons, WA not only had the exact dress I wanted, but also had the best selection of minimal, column dresses. No other salon had a dress I seriously wanted, and at WA I was truly torn between two options they gave me. - The bad: Wedding Atelier made several serious errors leading up to my wedding (namely ordering the *WRONG* dress), handled these errors unprofessionally, and treated me with a whole lot of disregard and cruelty through the process. What happened: I purchased my Suzanne Neville wedding dress from WA during their March 2022 trunk show for my October 2022 wedding. Wedding Atelier orders a "customized" version of this Suzanne Nevill design (the Adair dress), but I wanted the original design with a keyhole back. Suzanne herself was on-site that day, guaranteed that would be doable (easier for them to do than WA's custom order even), that the timing would work, and would be a beautiful fit for me. In the months that followed, my bridal assistant at the salon changed and both that I worked with were quite dismissive about scheduling fittings. I repeatedly informed WA that I would be moving far away from NY (5 hours driving) and needed more lead time to schedule my fittings. The dress had a few delays in arriving, but each time *I* had to follow up with WA to know what the status and updated ETA for my dress would be. Each call they were rude and unhelpful. Due to these production delays, my first fitting was a month before my wedding day. I re-arranged my schedule, drove from New Hampshire to NY, and had my friend take off work to come. When I arrived, I found that WA had ordered the wrong dress - their own, backless custom version of the design, rather than the original I'd explicitly ordered. My order details were clearly outlined in the contract and order receipts, and had been mentioned on every call. They had received the dress from Suzanne Neville 5 business days prior and never checked or noticed the error, wasting me a trip and a whole week that could have been used to rectify the issue. What was even more shocking to me was how they handled customer service recovery. In the days that followed, *I*, again, was the one following up with them for status updates - had I not, I'm not sure I would have gotten any communication from WA. In the fittings that followed, WA staff repeatedly minimized the error ("oh, I've seen so much worse."), and attempted to argue and upsell me on tailoring. For the record, the only alterations I required were bringing up the sleeves and adjusting the train length for my height - the simplest of adjustments, well within the scope of the hefty alteration fee they command. They relented because of the dress order issue, but I hate to imagine how they treat other brides. In summary: I knew I wanted a Suzanne Neville dress before arriving at WA. Beyond carrying Suzanne Neville's designs, WA provided no value in this process and was persistently the worst vendor that I worked with leading up to my wedding. They made an already stressful process even more stressful through ordering the wrong wedding dress. Their poor management of the correction and persistently rude demeanor added insult to injury.

I had the best experience here! My stylist Chloe was amazing, she listened to everything I said and made me feel incredible! So excited that I found the one here and can’t wait to work with them to make my dress perfect!

Some brides don't know what they want when going to look at dresses , but I knew exactly what I was looking for and Jenna connected with me from the start. The first dress she pulled was the one! Jenna helped put together my whole look from veil to jewelry to which sneakers I should change into. Thank you Jenna for making me feel confident and beautiful on our wedding day

Getting my dress from Wedding Atelier was one of the highlights of my wedding planning process. From the second I walked into the salon, I felt at ease. Jenna took the time to chat with me, get to know me, and really understand what I wanted in my gown. I really felt like I had someone looking out for my best interests and advocating for me to feel like the most beautiful bride, not just a number. I landed on a one-of-a kind Wedding Atelier private label dress, and I couldn't have loved it more. I later worked with Ruth, and of course, Wedding Atelier's seamstress, May, on my alterations and they were perfection. She's literally a wizard. I ended up adding some detailing to my dress, and I really appreciated how Ruth tried to advise against adding them — they're not pushy at all, and really want what's best for you. I got my veil from Wedding Atelier too, and got SO many compliments on my overall wedding day look. From start to finish, Wedding Atelier was a dream and could not recommend it more highly for NYC-area brides and beyond.

I found my dress at another location and I did not have the best experience which is why I did not feel comfortable pulling the plug there. This boutique was the only other place that had the dress. I wanted to retry the dress as well as to see if there was anything to beat it. Everyone at this store was so nice, including the people from the other appointments. The overall experience was amazing. The stylist Angie was really personable and really listened to what I was looking for. They have many options with a wide price range as well. I would definitely recommend making an appointment here!

I had such a great experience choosing my dress from Wedding Atelier. Scheduling my fitting was slightly complicated, but in the end, the whole experience was smooth and enjoyable. They are definitely professionals!

I got married earlier this month and purchased my Suzanne Neville dress from Wedding Atelier last September. I was absolutely thrilled with every step of my experience. I went to New York to go to another wedding dress store (the TLC one, ugh) and went to Wedding Atelier just because I was in town. I had such an incredible experience. I worked with Chloe, who really listened to my style preferences and pulled several dresses I would have purchased. She handed me the one I ended up buying, and said she thought it would be perfect. When I put it on, I got the chills and my mother cried. I still didn't buy it on the spot -- I wanted to think it over for the night -- and Chloe wasn't pushy at all. In the end, I was obsessed with my dress and never got over it. The alterations process was professional and easy, and they made accommodations to get my final changes done in a day since I was traveling in from out of town. I was so thrilled with my experience and would highly recommend the Atelier to any and every bride.

I worked with Jenna D and my expirience was top notch she was patient, gave the best feed back on her experience, and really gave me the best advice. We talked so much about what my vision is and although I was confused and uncertain with certain aspects of wedding dress shopping she made all of that go away. This was the cleanest, nicest wedding salon I’ve been to and I’d recommend it 1000 times over. The price range also can’t be beat especially for nyc!

Beautiful dresses! You can tell they take care of their dresses here, they were all so clean compared to other places I shopped. I found my dream dress here with Kassandra! It was truly stunning and I had an amazing experience. Very professional and quality craftsmanship.

Alisa was my bridal specialist and she was patient, kind, very professional. All the dresses Alisa pulled was within my budget range and were within the styles I was looking for my wedding. The only time Alisa went outside of my budget was when I requested to try on a specific dress. It was the first time I went shopping for a wedding dress and it was an enjoyable experience. The customer service I thought was great!

She made the overall experience so enjoyable and made me feel comfortable in everything I tried on. I had been to 6 salons and found my perfect dress at Wedding Atelier! This review is for the bridal stylist, Jenna Darby, and not necessarily for the shop. She had a horrible attitude - not one smile, not one look of wanting to be helpful. It felt like I was begging her to help me vs her wanting to find me a dress. I also never saw dresses that were above the $3k price point even tho I told her my budget was up to $10k. So I have no idea if they even have nicer dresses. The reason you’re at the whims of the stylist is because you can’t walk around to look at dresses, they bring whatever they want to you so if your stylist is unhelpful and bitchy, it is going to be your whole experience. My coworker had a similar experience here w a stylist that had a bad attitude so I guess my experience is not unique to me.

If you’re looking to have a stress free wedding dress shopping experience go here! Long story short, I had a horrible experience with another bridal salon and the wedding dress I had said yes to was completely different than the dress that was shipped to the store. Since my wedding was 3 months away, I frantically called Wedding Atelier and explained my situation. They were very accommodating and got me in ASAP to find my new dress. For my appointment, I met with THE BEST bridal consultant, Jenna. Jenna is sweet, personable, and very understanding. She instantly understood what I was looking for that I had found the new dress in 2 tries. Since I had a bad experience at the other bridal salon, Jenna made sure to be there every step of the way - from the second I said yes to when I picked up the dress and everything in between. Jenna made the experience at Wedding Atelier stress free and I would run to book an appointment with her!!

Truly an amazing bridal experience. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. The studio was clean and fairly private. I worked with Jenna and she did just a great job in listening to what I was looking for in a dress and very conscious of my budget. Jenna was constantly checking in with me to make sure I was finding the right dress and felt comfortable. She listened to my reactions and cues and helped me find the most perfect wedding dress. I came in for a second appointment to finalize my decision and get measured. As soon as they got my dress in, they alerted me and scheduled all my future fittings. The day before my wedding, I picked up my dress and it was beautifully steamed and ready for the big day! Highly recommend this studio!

Love Wedding Atelier! I worked with Martuly. She was so kind, helpful and patient with me when trying on dresses. I went during the Suzanne Neville Trunk Show and got the opportunity to meet Suzanne and work with her when I was trying on her dresses (added bonus: Suzanne sketched me in the dress I picked and gifted me the sketch). The salon was super clean and I never felt rushed. The entire staff was great - Martuly, Ruth, Carrie and of course Suzanne Neville too. Can’t wait to go back for all my fittings.

The staff here are wildly rude and pushy. I've heard bad things from friends and just had a bad experience here. Don't waste your time and money!

I worked with Chloe, and from the first appointment with me, she knew exactly what I needed: someone who didn't want to just sell me a dress, but who wanted me to fall in love with my dress. She was totally 100% honest about everything I tried on. At most of the salons I went to, I felt like I was just another potential transaction. Not with Chloe! She's truly wonderful and choosing my Suzanne Neville gown was by far the easiest decision I made. And the whole staff at Wedding Atelier is just as wonderful: I probably spent a total of 5 minutes with Ruth, a manager, for measurements, but I looked forward to every appointment when I could say hi and chat. Not to mention that the gowns are all absolutely gorgeous and there's something for every style. I found my perfect gown that's perfectly me. I could not recommend Wedding Atelier and its lovely staff enough!

I had a terrific experience finding my wedding gown here. My stylist, Chloe, was so patient, kind and thoughtful. The selection is incredible. Leading up to the appointment, you'll receive a set of "rules" that seem a bit overwhelming, but they're really just in place to keep the boutique & experience clean, organized and efficient. Once I was at the appointment, I felt so comfortable, relaxed, and like the experience was personalized for me. I'd highly recommend!

Highly highly recommend this bridal shop. They knocked it out of the park. All the dresses are beautiful and the service was amazing. Yvonne was the most amazing stylist and person! She thought of every little detail and found amazing dresses to fit what I liked. I can’t recommend Yvonne and wedding atelier enough. Jenna was so thoughtful, warm, and helpful. She listened to my vision and helped me find the perfect dress. She made the process fun and easy and was just a pleasure to work with. Though my dress was delayed in arriving (due to supply chain issues, and at no fault of the salon) she provided reassuring updates and kept me in the loop. I was able to have three fittings in one month, plus an additional try-on right before the wedding. It was truly a pleasure to work with her, and I highly recommend visiting this salon if you are looking for a wedding gown.

Fell more in love with my wedding dress after each appointment and fitting!! My mom and sister came for my first appointment when I found the dress and we had so much fun trying on dresses and working with Riley. My seamstress Elise is extremely talented and such a doll! She truly nailed every detail and gave me the bustle of my dreams! The team was great and it was easy to schedule appointments. I highly recommend Wedding Atelier! I picked this dress shop for a specific designer, and ordered my dress in June of 2021. It didn't arrive until 3 weeks prior to my wedding (Aug 2022) and looked a lot different than what I had actually picked. Because it came in so late, I didn't have any opportunity to change it to what I really wanted/said yes to. All appointments, from picking the dress to fittings, felt rushed, and I definitely felt like just a number to them, instead of a bride. Come the day of the wedding, the hem released and the dress was too long throughout the entire day. I still loved how I looked, but this experience was definitely not what I had hoped it to be, and I do not recommend this shop for other brides.

I was so excited for my appointment here but it was horrendous. The consultant who worked with me pushed one designer on me and did not listen to what I asked for. I tried on 5 dresses and when I didn’t love any of them and asked to try on others, she told me she had nothing else. Really? The appointment ended early. I’ve gone dress shopping with friends at places like Saks, Bergdorf, l’Fay, Designer Loft, and Kleinfelds. This was the only place I went to where you were not allowed to look at the dresses in store yourself. It was the only place that I’ve felt unwelcome. My parents felt the same. You are at the mercy of the consultant who helps you, so if you have a consultant who comes to work grumpy, you’ll have a bad experience. I showed the person at least 5 styles I found on the wedding atelier website and she brought out NONE of them. When I inquired about one of them she told me the style was discontinued. Why is it still on the website if it isn’t carried or the store has nothing else like it? Anyhow, I can recommend many places, but this is the only place I’ve been to where I would say Do Not Waste Your Time.

I had a great experience with Wedding Atelier! My consultant let me try on about 20 dresses in our 90 min time slot. I live out of state and the whole team was easy to get ahold of when I had questions about shipping my dress with time for alterations. When my dress arrived, it was very carefully packaged and looked exactly as I'd hoped. Can't recommend this business enough!

The Wedding Atelier is a beautiful, clean salon with many brands to display. Haven't decided about a dress yet, but wanted to express how wonderful my experience was here compared to other salons in NYC!! Yvonne was amazing and super knowledgeable about wedding dresses, and didn't try to push for the most expensive dress!!

I worked with Alisa to find my dream dress at Wedding Atelier, and it was overall a great experience, despite the mess of a pandemic in the midst of it. The salon was very flexible with rescheduling when I had to postpone my wedding, and the fitting process was efficient - only two needed. Cannot recommend this salon enough - GREAT selection of dresses/designers as well.

I am so happy with my experience at Wedding Atelier. I ended up purchasing my dress, veil, and headpiece from them. Their staff was so friendly and attentive. They have a high end boutique feel, a great array of dresses and designers at all different price points, and anything you would need to complete your bridal look (veils, belts, jewelry, hair/head pieces, shawls etc.) I had two appointments to try on dresses. Both times I worked with Riley. She was super sweet and knowledgeable about the styles the salon had. She had a great eye for style and was helpful with finding the right accessories for the dress. Throughout both appointments I never felt pressured or rushed. Once I finally picked my dress and it arrived, I booked my fittings. The team that helped me book made the process a breeze, they also sent email reminders which were so helpful. The alterations team was incredible! I worked with May who is a literal sewing genius. I had a lot of dress to work with and she worked wonders especially with my bustle. Once the dress was ready, I scheduled my pickup which I did the Friday before my wedding (Sunday). This was such a great option to pick it up so close to the wedding. The dress and veil were handled with such care and meticulously wrapped in the garment bag to insure they looked their best for the wedding day. I received so many compliments on my dress and veil. I was so lucky to find something really unique and special for my wedding day at Wedding Atelier.

I had the most wonderful experience here this weekend with Riley. She was able to take my notes (what I wanted, didn’t want, the budget) and pull several choices for me—many of which I never realized I would like or didn’t notice on the website. Every dress she pulled was gorgeous, and she also seemed to thoughtfully choose dresses that fit my body type well. Additionally the atelier and it’s staff were warm and welcoming throughout the process. I was a little anxious about going to look for my dress, not knowing what it would be like or if I would find something I loved, but at wedding atelier I found what I wanted within my budget very easily! (It was also a dress I never even noticed on the website!)
