JDK Catering and Events exceeded all of our expectations for our wedding day. We cannot thank them enough for all the time and effort the whole team put in to make our day absolutely magical. Abby was always available to answer any and all of our questions throughout the planning process and helped us plan every part the day. She was with us every step from initially booking to the wedding day ensuring the day ran as smoothly as possible without any issues. Brooke and her team made our floral vision come to life exactly how we envisioned it. She was always so prompt with answering my emails and making any last minute changes that we wanted. Having Weddings by JDK was our best vendor decision we made during our wedding planning process. We worked with Colton through the planning process, and we are still getting compliments on how beautiful our entire wedding was - from ceremony area through reception area, and that is all because of the incredible talent that Colton and his team have. During our first meeting with Colton, he walked us through everything. We came in knowing very little about wedding flowers, and what we may like. We gave Colton a few words, a few pinterest photos we liked, and some colors. The design that Colton created, I will never get over. He was able to take the few words and images that my husband and I liked, and make the most beautiful wedding happen, while all still going back to our initial vision and how we wanted our guests to feel throughout the day. His proposal is so thorough and includes photos so we could both understand his team’s vision. We worked hand in hand with JDK for both food and flowers. Colton and Lexi (with catering) were able to have meetings together, which really helped us as we were traveling out of town. Our mouths dropped (and many happy tears were shed) when we walked into our detail meeting (which was so helpful to have together with both catering and florals). Colton and Lexi created the most beautiful place setting options that we could see in person. The cohesive design for both catering and florals was more helpful than we knew. More happy tears were shed on our wedding day, when Colton and Brooke showed my bouquet to me. It was absolutely perfect. Colton’s team takes so much care and understanding in the details, not just in the initial call but in every planning meeting and through the wedding day. The ceremony setup was unbelievable. We asked guests to be unplugged, but that did not stop anyone from taking photos of the ceremony setup 😊 - it was too beautiful not to! Our cocktail hour space was stunning because of Colton’s team. We had a first room reveal of the reception space to see everything come together and we are so thankful we did - everything was so perfect, we had people coming up to us all night compliment the florals. I am so thankful that we are getting some of the florals preserved, because I never want to forget what this team created for us. Thank you to Colton, Brooke, Stephanie and the entire floral team for making our wedding better and more beautiful than we could have dreamed of.

I knew from the start that we were in very good hands when we attended our tasting, where the floral and event design team had put their touches to the tasting event itself. I was seriously blown away with the creativity and beautiful displays they put together there. When it came to our wedding day, our flowers were absolutely perfect! My fiancé and I were so happy with the way that they had turned out from the bouquets to the ceremony and to our reception. The draped greenery in our reception space at Elizabeth Furnace on the ceiling wood beams were literally the perfect touch to the evening. Everyone complimented on how gorgeous everything was and I know the flowers made everything come alive even more. I was obsessed with my bouquet, it was beautiful! The mixed colors truly reflected our eclectic, funky, and vintage theme along with time of the year in later September. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome of them. I’m so grateful that my planner got JDK for us- their work is absolutely breathtaking and they made my vision come alive better than I could have imagined! We worked with Colton and he completely understood what I wanted and came up with even more ideas to fit the theme, like the beautiful hedge wall with mirrors for the seating chart, and other decor that went perfectly. The florals were stunning and fit the color palette so beautifully and perfectly. I cannot imagine the day without JDK! Even the ladies who brought us our bouquets were so sweet and excited for us, and that was a special moment when they presented the bouquets. Each bridesmaid had a bouquet to match their dress and my bouquet was made of each of those flowers with other accents from the theme like mushrooms and butterflies. The centerpieces were different for each table and were made with really cool, unique items like moss bunnies and bird cages! I can’t wait to get all the photos back from my photographer so I can see all the little details. I would 1000% recommend JDK, especially if you are going for something unique and out-of-the-box.

We worked with Brooke and she had amazing communication and was constantly giving recommendations and making updates as needed throughout the planning process. Colton at the JDK group could not have done a better job at my wedding. He helped execute every dream, plan, and vision I had to make my wedding day perfectly beautiful and reflect all of my Pinterest dreams. When I had a change in plans or design, Colton was quick to upgrade the original template and reconfigure everything to match all my needs and wants. Colton listened to me when touring the venue and helped problem solve scenarios to help complete the full Pinterest Perfect day. I had COMPLETE faith in Colton and his team at JDK group that everything would be set up beautifully and executed in a way that I could only imagine. It was also a huge plus for them to provide the majority of the decor, set up, and tear down to relieve this duty from me and my family and allow for us to fully enjoy this time together and not stress. Although the cost of services may be moderately to high priced, Colton was willing and pleasant to work with me to budget throughout the wedding planning process and I would recommend this team to any new bride. The cost is worth it in my opinion.

If you are looking for an exceptional florist that can work within your budget, you can stop your search. We first hired The JDK Group for their catering services (which we 1000% also recommend) and learned about their floral and event design. We were quickly put in contact with Colton and working with this team was a dream. Our arbor was perfect, the bouquets and boutonnieres were stunning and our venue looked like a literal fairy tale. If you think you're missing something, you're not because this team has got you covered. I cannot recommend them enough, especially if you are already using their catering services!

Brooke and her team were so awesome! Flowers seemed to magically appear and disappear from all the right places on our special day. Everywhere we looked it was perfection. The flower floor arch for our ceremony was perfection. And the team repurposed it for decoration around our sweetheart table, which we received compliments about all night. If you’re a bride in the thick of wedding planning and you’re looking for a florist you can stop right here. There is simply no one better than Colton and his team! Colton came highly recommended by both a coworker of mine and my wedding planner and they did not steer me wrong. From the very beginning Colton was incredibly kind, cooperative, and so knowledgeable. He is so good at taking your vision and your budget and creating the most perfect proposal. He never tried to upsell me on things he didn’t think were necessary. He even helped me come up with a plan to repurpose our floral arch from our ceremony into our sweetheart table backdrop. When I got married on 06/17, I was blown away at how his team came in so efficiently and transformed the venue as if by magic. It was beyond my wildest Pinterest dreams. I could go on and on but I’ll just say - I highly recommend JDK Florals and Event Design!

Colton was by far, one of the best out of all my vendors. His responses and communication were in a timely manner which put my nerves at ease! He worked with me to make sure I could incorporate my centerpieces, Welcome Sign, and backdrop doors which I created. The team came early to make sure everything was spot on for first look photos and detail photos. The arbor flowers and my garland for my Backdrop looked like an Alice in Wonderland dream!

I, like many people have stated already, didn't actually get to meet with Brooke in person. But, she was so easy to work with and communicative. We scheduled a phone meeting, discussed my vision, shared some pins on Pinterest, and it turned out beautifully. She was easy to contact and responded to my questions very quickly. I had so many compliments from guests about the centerpieces, my bouquet and the grand staircase decor. They handled all the set up and tear down, the decor for the dessert table/gift table, etc. She also kept me within budget.

I would like to thank JDK for their wonderful florals and designs for our wedding. I was never able to meet with Colton and Brooke in person, as I live out of town. I was very nervous about the flowers but they turned out better than I could ever imagine! The JDK Floral and Event Design Team did a phenomenal job with the flowers for our wedding! We had a consultation with Colton and Brooke where they took down our vision. Once the wedding day came the flowers surpassed the expectations we had!! The florals were an absolute dream! They did an incredible job getting to know you and what you want while also putting in their flare. Communication was excellent with this group as well with almost immediate email responses. There was impeccable attention to detail from the bouquets, to the arch, to the table pieces. Lastly, this group took care of everything from the setup to the tear-down. Our top vendor award goes to Colton and his team for our wedding day florals!! I already knew the JDK team would rock it, but Colton delivered above and beyond what we had envisioned. The communication was the best of all vendors and he made it fun and exciting, like he was sharing in the same excitement that we were. It really means a lot as you're in the thick of wedding planning. We had a very tight planning period and were also planning out of state, but that did not deter anything in the process of working with JDK. We give extra kudos to the team on site for the day of. Up until 10 minutes before ceremony start time we had 1 plan, but then it quickly changed due to rain as we all hurried toward plan B. The team happily and efficiently moved all florals and arch to our rain plan in a timely and professional manner. Colton and his team did an AMAZING job with our wedding florals at The Bond in York, PA - the pops of color and touches of boho, all within a moody and romantic palette, was executed perfectly. I definitely wanted some color brought to the gray industrial space, with but with a relaxed elegance. We really couldn't be happier with the tone the florals set in the reception space. Our ceremony florals were equally as gorgeous, delivered to St. Joseph's in York, PA. I planned my wedding from afar, and Colton was so easy to work with - spot on, very professional, and the florals/design was affordable. Our JDK venue coordinator, Lexi, was incredibly helpful after a staffing transition - she swooped in about two months before the wedding and helped place the finishing touches on our design, including finalizing our linen colors, ordering chargers and velvet napkins. It was so helpful to have JDK handle those rentals instead of outsourcing another vendor myself. Lexi was thorough and made sure our personal decor was set up perfectly at the venue. Our ceremony was offsite, so it was such a relief to arrive at The Bond and have everything set up and looking gorgeous. I finally want to note that the food is fantastic - our guests are still raving about the brussel sprout lollipop butlered hors d'oeuvres, the handmade guacamole station at cocktail hour, and our margarita signature cocktail. The venue, food and esthetic did not disappoint! Highly recommend JDK Catering and Weddings by JDK for your wedding at The Bond or elsewhere!

We hired JDK for our florals for the wedding. We had Colton and he was wonderful! I had a really hard time in the beginning trying to put my vision into words and he worked with me and my maid of honor to get what I was looking for. The results speak for themselves--- Look at the pictures! He even helped me find alternatives within my vision to keep us as close to budget as possible. Everything was perfect! Thank you Colton!

Colton did an AMAZING JOB with our florals. He worked within our budget and produced absolutely stunning results. He is super responsive and was able to accommodate all of our requests. Every floral installation and bouquet was stunning. Classic but modern. I mean I cannot say enough good things about Colton and his team other than you will not regret hiring them as your florist.

Colton and his team were wonderful to work with. He was responsive to me and very flexible with changes as they arose. He provided honest feedback and was respectful of our budget while still making our vision come to life. On the day of the wedding, my bridal bouquet made my jaw drop! Colton did the most BEAUTIFUL florals and decorations for my daughter's Christmas wedding at the King Mansion in Harrisburg! Colton and the JDK staff executed my daughter's vision perfectly! I am still in love with how everything at my wedding turned out Abby and Colton from JDK went ABOVE and BEYOND to make my day so special. Having to postpone my wedding due to Covid these two were so gracious in helping me. They both were so kind and helpful. With the many questions or concerns I had they never hesitated to help me out. I would HIGHLY recommend JDK and Colton for your dream wedding. The flower arrangements made by Colton were so beautiful and I am still so blown away with how beautiful everything came together. My wedding day ran so smoothly thanks to Abby and Erika. I can't thank JDK as well as Abby, Colton, and Erika enough!
