When I say this is the most magical wedding venue...I mean it. Our experience with Willow Falls was amazing from the start. Our tour was such a lovely experience...with charcuterie and drinks waiting for us and Deidra was amazing. So it came as no surprise that our wedding at Willow Falls this past weekend was everything we could have dreamed of and more. Blake and the entire team at Willow Falls made our weekend so seamless and enjoyable. We had our wedding party stay on the property with us and there was more than enough room for everyone. We enjoyed the fire pit, the private balcony off the master suite, the peaceful sound of the waterfall trickling all weekend. I also cannot say enough great things about Deidra. You NEED to have her as your day-of-coordinator. She was amazing and I don't know what I would have done without her. I have absolutely zero complaints about Willow Falls and I would recommend it as a wedding venue to ANYONE. Our guests can't stop talking about how dreamy and whimsical our day was!
Our experience at willowfalls was simply incredible!! We are a couple from south Florida and booked this venue sight unseen. We were extremely pleased when we arrived to such a whimsical and fairy-tail like venue. After a year of stressful planning, willowfalls was the perfect place to see it all unfold. We checked in on a Thursday and were able to host a small welcome party for the bridesmaids and groomsmen before additional family and friends arrived. Friday morning, we had a group breakfast and our rehearsal at 11 am so that we could host our larger welcome party that evening at Highland Lake inn and resort (where our guests were staying). Saturday of course was our big day, and Sunday we took full advantage of the late checkout while cleaning up after the long weekend.
Reading reviews plays a large role in the booking process. That being said, this is our transparent review!
Our wedding was around 75 people in total. We had seven groomsmen and seven bridesmaids. We spent around 27,000$ in total after everything for an entire weekend of events.
The things we loved most about Willowfalls was how BEAUTIFUL and how peaceful it is. It was extremely clean and comforting. When we first arrived, we had a lovely welcoming with champagne and chocolate and coffee! And It smelt wonderful. Waking up at willowfalls was something I will be dreaming about doing again for a long time. The bed itself was soooo comfortable. The way the light enters the house in the mornings left me speechless. It is exactly the place you want to wake up for your wedding weekend. There are so many places to sit and enjoy the beauty. Deidra and Blake were very accommodating to the needs of our wedding and worked with us every step of the way. We loved the fact that there were three fridges on property, a water dispenser, and an ice machine. For our wedding, willowfalls provided the tables, chairs, alter, and water carafes for the dinner portion. The tables and chairs were set up before arrival to the venue. We loved that this is a DIY type of venue and we felt we had full reigns on setting it up exactly how we wanted. Deidra (day of coordinator) was incredible and efficient and we could not have done it without her.
If this is a location you are considering for your wedding, here is some advice.
We felt that the preferred vendors were a bit on the pricy side. However, we were able to find alternatives that will be listed below. We ended up buying more than necessary as we were unaware of how much willowfalls offered as far as kitchen utensils go (it may be wise to reach out and inquire before making purchases.)There is limited parking for guests, so for larger weddings, you are required to get a shuttle company (which ensures no one drinks and drives at your wedding!) The venue does not come with people to help move the chairs from ceremony to reception area so we had to ask our wedding party to do this for us (which was disclosed prior, just keep it in mind.)There is a strict noise ordinance and I will say that if you have a loud, dancing group who wants loud music, you may run into problems.
In all, willowfalls was an amazing space, so relaxing and rejuvenating! For us, it will be a place we will celebrate our love in the future.

This was better than we could have ever imagined. If you want an outdoor wedding that is something out of a dream, this is the place.
This venue is more than anything we ever could have dreamed of. Everything about the space was perfect; the main house and bungalow are bright, inviting, and perfectly set up for a weekend away, and the the grounds are idyllic; incredibly lush and beautifully manicured. The constant sound of the waterfall was also simply enchanting, especially when going to bed at night in the honeymoon suite!
We did almost everything at the venue; we hosted a welcome dinner BBQ and firepit party on Thursday, got ready in the two houses on Saturday morning, had our first look on the trail right by the waterfall (surrounded by tiger lilies!), took our photos Lover's Trail, got married on the stone patio (30 people total!), had happy hour at the bridge, dinner on the wooden deck, danced the night away under strings of café lights on the stone patio, and then hosted a causal Sunday brunch in the main house. It was wonderful being able to do everything in one space, and it really made it feel like the party never ended.
Do yourself a favor and book Deidre as your wedding coordinator. She is intimately familiar with the space and helped make our wedding day a breeze. Nothing -- absolutely nothing -- went wrong on our wedding day, and I imagine this is largely due to her!!
Our only regret was not booking an extra night for just the two of us! But, not to worry, they rent this venue out as an airbnb and we will DEFINITELY be back for an anniversary or two :)
The perfect venue for an intimate wedding. We had about 60 guests and the entire event on-site. Friends and family still regularly talk about our wedding three years later.
Whimsical, Serene, Romantic. Willow Falls was the venue I didnt know I had been dreaming of. To be completely honest, we almost cancelled our tour because I liked another venue we had viewed. But then I stepped foot on this property and my husband and I were mesmerized. The grounds are filled with the beauty of flowers, greenery, and lush vegetation. The sound of the gentle waterfall and water wheel draw you in. There is so much to look at and we didn't know which way we wanted to go first!
The two homes are spotless, bright, and inviting (also they smell INCREDIBLE). I couldn't believe that part of the package was getting to stay on the property for several days. We held our rehearsal dinner in the main house the night before the wedding. Its SO nice not to have to run around to different places!
I was worried I wouldnt sleep the night before the wedding due to nervous excitement. I took a long soak in the deep tub, crawled into the giant cloud of a bed, listened to about 30 seconds of the water wheel outside and I was OUT!
We had hair and makeup come to us at the venue. We sat in the kitchen and had plenty of lovely natural light. Did I mention how wonderful it was to have everything at the same place? It really helped with the stress of the day to not have to worry about driving.
This venue doesnt need much of anything for decor- the warm string lighting, flowers, and stunning wooden deck give a romantic feel. We rented a tent from Pro Party Rentals and had our ceremony on the stone porch (40 people). The reception was set up on the deck.
We were a little crowded under the tent with 40 people (our first dance was in between our two long farmhouse tables), but it gave for a really intimate atmosphere.
There are endless spots for incredible photo ops. If you are a photo/video freak like me, I needed lots of spots that just screamed "take a photo here!". This place has it all. Want pictures on moss underneath twinkling lights? You got it. Fancy a good bridge shot? Theres TWO. Want more privacy taking your first photos as a couple? Head to the lover's trail (but bring good shoes because its a small incline!).
After dancing away underneath the whimsical lights and kissing through our glowstick exit, we left the property for a bit and waited for everyone to leave, but then we got to COME back and spend TWO more glorious days here! Seriously, after all the hustle and bustle- nothing was more wonderful than having our first two nights as husband and wife doing everything and nothing at all at this property. We had it all to ourselves and it was BLISS.
We were permitted late checkout and we stayed until the very. last. second. We cannot wait to come back for an anniversary trip (its also rented out as an Air Bnb!).
Management was super responsive during our stay and had everything we could ever need onsite. Do yourself a favor and BOOK IT.
THIS VENUE IS GORGEOUS!
I cannot stop dreaming about this wonderful venue. It is like it was taken from a fairy land. The waterfall adds such a unique touch. We actually got married on the bridge of the venue and the arch that was made for us was just beautiful. All of our guests were talking about how beautiful this venue was. And the fact that we got to stay there for 3 days was wonderful. It was nice to wake up and go to bed not rushing to get out of a venue after the wedding. They were also so helpful the day of the wedding. Also the town and the people in it! Loved the area.
If I could do it all over again, I would choose Willow Falls 1000 times. Everything about this intimate place is magical. From the breathtaking scenery, to the cozy home, we couldn't have picked a better place for our wedding day. We will be back for an anniversary getaway. Thank you for everything!
My husband and I were married here at Willow Falls on the Bridge over the Waterfall. We joined our families (15 Children Together) and all of the children were present on our most special day, as were 150 of our nearest and dearest family and friends. The lighting at night at Willow Falls is like walking through a fairy tale! The peace and serenity at WF created an intimate event. We look forward to renewing our vows there on our 20th Anniversary❣️
