I love Willow House because they have both hair and makeup artists which makes it so much easier when booking for yourself and your bridal party. As a plus, Michelle and team are so kind and patient. They answered all my questions and were super responsive with any emails I sent. During our trials and morning of the wedding they took the time to listen to what we truly wanted. Michelle, Laura, Eric, and Emily were the team we had for wedding day, and they were great. They had such a calming peaceful energy throughout the entire morning, which is just what you want on the morning of your wedding. We all looked beautiful, and everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup. I also kept Michelle and Laura for touchups until my ceremony started and it was the BEST decision I ever made. The weather was a little windy and Laura and Michelle followed us around to touch us up and made sure nothing was out of place. Willow House recently did my hair and make up for my wedding. They did an absolutely amazing job! As someone who doesn't wear a lot of make up - I knew that I didn't want the typical 'wedding make up' look. I still wanted to look like myself. The team at Willow House did my make up perfectly! They also did a wonderful job with my hair and guided me through the entire process. My hair and make up looked wonderful the entire day and I wish I could hire Willow House for every event I have after this!

Working with willow house for my wedding day hair and makeup was one of the best decisions I made during wedding planning! As someone who myself and all my bridesmaids are not super "glam" and do not wear alot of makeup or do our hair regularly, I was very nervous about hair and makeup for the wedding. From the very start willow house set a good, calming, modern vibe and answered all my many questions promptly and with kindness. I was really nervous for my trial and Eduardo and Haley really put me at ease - they both guided me, listened to me, and did not judge or get impatient when I went back and forth in my preferences or asked a lot of questions. They helped me better understand and led me to a look that felt natural to me but also helped push me to do more than i normally would have. They made my look feel totally like myself, but elevated! They didn't pressure me in any way. I did two makeup trials, just to try out different looks and Haley was super patient and really listened to my feedback. On wedding day they were both so comforting during a stressful day and I felt so comfortable and happy with my hair and makeup looks. They are both so kind and funny. My entire bridal party of 9 and 2 moms were all happy with their hair and makeup and felt very comfortable. The team was really professional and kept us on schedule. thank you!!

I can’t recommend Willow House Beauty enough! They’re perfect for anyone wanting a natural makeup look but to still look done up on their wedding day. The individual lash application was the best I’ve ever had, and my makeup stayed flawless all night—no smudging or flaking at all. And, despite getting married in a litearl hurricane, my hair stayed perfectly in place. I have super long, elbow-length hair, and they managed to shape it into a stunning bun that stayed intact the entire evening. What impressed me the most was how well the team took feedback. On the day of, I had a darker spray tan than at my original trial, and they quickly adjusted my makeup to match. They were so flexible with hair as well, shaping my bun exactly to my liking. The vibe from the artists was calm and positive, which made the whole process even better. Plus, they handled different skin types beautifully, from 30-year-olds to 70-year-olds. If you want a team that listens, adapts, and delivers flawless results no matter the conditions, Willow House Beauty is the way to go!

Megan and Ava made me, my sister, sister in law, and mother and law all look absolutely stunning for my wedding. They were also incredibly kind. My hair and makeup didn't budge all night and that includes through mist and rain!!! I would recommend them to anyone!!

I absolutely loved working with Willow House Beauty for my wedding this past weekend. It was extremely easy working with them leading up to the wedding, and my trial was so fun and perfect. Natasha and Aneta helped make the morning of so calm, relaxing, and enjoyable. My hair is pin straight and barely ever holds a wave/curl when I do my own hair, but thanks to Natasha’s skill my hair held up not just through the night but well into the day after too! Aneta’s makeup was actually flawless and similarly stayed put all night. I’ve never felt more beautiful — but I looked like myself too, which I am so grateful for and I know that Willow House is super intentional about highlighting your natural features. Can’t recommend Willow House enough!

Working with Willow House Beauty was an absolute dream. We had Michelle, Holly, Natasha, and Haley join us for the big day. They were so kind, inclusive, and patient with the whole bridal party, which meant the world to me. The entire team is beyond talented. Every one looked stunning and loved their individualized looks. Michelle did my makeup, and Holly handled hair. I knew after our trial that I was in great hands. Together they created the perfect natural glamorous look that I Ioved so much. What I really appreciated was how they took the time to listen and understand my vision. They made sure I still felt like myself, but elevated. 
 Having Michelle and Holly stay for touch-ups was a great decision, especially for a summer wedding with an outdoor ceremony on a windy rooftop. I appreciated how Holly secured my veil, so everything stayed perfectly in place. Holly also flawlessly pulled off a hair change. She transformed a beautiful updo for the ceremony into gorgeous voluminous curls for the reception in a matter of minutes. It was incredible and a lot of fun! I’ll never forget how Willow House Beauty made me look and feel so beautiful on my wedding day. Their talent and professionalism are truly unmatched, and I can’t recommend them enough :)

Willow House Beauty is a great choice for NYC weddings/glam needs. Michelle and team are organized, professional, helpful, and offer an array of services/options for your big day.  Michelle and team were communicative throughout the booking process and helpful answering questions. On my wedding day, Johnny did my hair and Aneta did my makeup - I did a trial with each of them (together) 2.5 months before the wedding day. Both experiences were great - the trial went well but I had some feedback for my hairstyle. On the day of the wedding Johnny was early and super game to take the feedback, checking in with me every step of the way. We had a big group for hair and makeup, so Cait and Weronika joined. Everyone was professional and lovely company. They kept us on schedule and everyone of my friends/family felt so beautiful. Highly recommend!

I have never felt more beautiful in my life than on the day on my wedding and in the hands of Marina and Laura - they are magical artists and people!!! Willow House exceeded all of my expectations for my wedding day. I'm someone who can be picky when it comes to hair and makeup and felt happy after my trial, but my wedding day results were even better than I could've imagined. The team took my trial feedback and incorporated it perfectly, and I truly felt so beautiful throughout the whole day. I’m not someone who does much with my hair or makeup on a regular day, so I was very intimidated beginning the process of finding stylists for my wedding in Brooklyn at the Box House Hotel. My goal was to choose as many of my vendors as possible from my neighborhood of Greenpoint, and that’s how I found Willow House! Maria and Michelle’s planning and communication from the beginning was incredibly organized and I felt very heard and understood through the whole process. I arrived at my trial with some loose ideas and Weronika and Johnny created an absolutely perfect look for my wedding day! All of my other family members and friends who had hair or makeup done that day were also so impressed by their work. I also included the grooming ad-on for my husband and he LOVED it. They are such kind and talented professionals and I also just loved their company. I worked with Johnny and Marina for my wedding day and they are truly the best of the best! I was so worried about my wedding makeup looking over the top/unnatural, but as soon as I finished my trial I knew I was in incredible hands. They totally nailed my makeup vision: I felt very elegant and bridal but also like myself. They also did an beautiful job with hair and makeup for my mom and bridesmaids. Could not recommend them more!

Using Willow House for my wedding beauty was the BEST choice 💕 The team was very responsive via email, on time day-of, and used high quality products. I loved that I still looked natural and like myself on my wedding day -- and it lasted ALL night. All four artists we worked with were super detail oriented and helpful with touch-ups to make sure all my girls looked amazing too! We even booked grooming for my husband to make sure he felt camera-ready for the day -- once again, it was very subtle but made a huge difference. I've ended up buying several of the products Marina used on me for my wedding makeup because I loved how I looked THAT much! Absolutely recommend for future brides!!

Where do I start? Willow House is simply the best beauty vendor in NYC, period. We booked our wedding venue two years in advance, so I had plenty of time to research and compare vendors. I probably reached out to 20 different beauty vendors, but when it came to making a final decision, the choice was obvious. Let me tell you why! Communication: I never waited more than 48 hours for a response from Willow House. Every single message from Michelle and her team was friendly, professional, and informative. It’s clear from the way they communicate that the team at Willow House is proud of what they do and really value the way they make brides feel about themselves on their wedding day. I am so grateful for the kindness I received from everyone at Willow House in the weeks and months leading up to our wedding. Compassion: From the very beginning, the team at Willow House listened attentively to my concerns and understood, intuitively, what I was looking for. Regarding my own hair and makeup, I wanted to make sure that when I looked in the mirror on my wedding day, I recognized the person looking back at me. I wanted to feel elegant and beautiful, but I still wanted to feel like myself, and I have never been an airbrushed person. But the person I was most concerned about was my mother. My mom is a good person, in every sense of the word. She dedicated her life to caring for the health and happiness of others. She never spent much time on her own appearance, and consequently I never saw her wearing makeup of any kind. I knew that she had a lot of anxiety about getting her makeup done for my wedding, although she kept those feelings to herself. So it was important to me that the hair and makeup artists I hired would be sensitive to her needs and find a way to make her feel beautiful and special without causing her any discomfort. Aneta knew exactly what to do. She gently guided my mom through the whole process, offering suggestions rather than asking questions she wouldn’t know how to answer. She joked with my mom, helping her to relax instead of making her feel insecure. My mom, of course, looked stunning. But more importantly, she was glowing from within. When I look at our wedding photos, I see my mom feeling her best, radiating happiness, and I can’t thank the Willow House team enough for making that happen. Artistry: You only need to spend five minutes on Instagram to know that Willow House only hires the best of the best. Abi, Carley, Megan, and Aneta are all incredibly gifted and creative. They absolutely delivered the perfect hair and makeup for myself, my bridesmaids, my sister-in-law, and the moms. Everyone was thrilled with their looks, and I was so happy to see the women I love feeling confident and relaxed on my wedding day. The team at Willow House really knows how to enhance a person’s natural beauty. They excel in clean, natural looks, perfectly blending glamour with effortless grace. There’s a reason everyone on their Instagram looks like an ethereal goddess having her best skin day ever. What I’m trying to say is that the Willow House team has got you covered. No matter what. Highly communicative and professional, talented team! Highly recommend doing a trial first. They were super patient with me and did a beautiful job, but after the trial and a bit of thinking I realized I wanted something different for my makeup, so I went back and did a second one. Felt like they really listened to me and took all the time I needed to get it right and feel good. On the day of, they were organized and calm despite all of our chaos, and were great with both a lot of guidance and very little ("I have no idea!") from the bridesmaids and moms. I had 2 moms, 9 bridesmaids and me- and they were ahead of schedule. Everyone looked gorgeous and like themselves, which felt important to me. Ava did my makeup and Eduardo did my hair. They were both fun and professional and the end product was gorgeous. Eduardo did a great job with some clip-in extensions and even told me where to buy them/ how many. He managed to get the "just a bit undone" look I wanted (by the ceremony, my hair had loosened just the right amount!) I have some acne scars on my cheeks that I am self-conscious of, and Ava was able to find the right amount of coverage without cakeyness. If you're looking for chic NYC beauty, look no further! Yes, they're on the more expensive end, but after quite a bit of analysis I actually found they were the best deal out of the more high-end beauty vendors I looked at.

The team at Willow House was accommodating and precise as they helped my husband and me as well as our wedding party to get ready for our October 2023 wedding in Brooklyn. The trial and the check in after made me feel very confident heading into the actual day. We had to make a few last minute additions, when I decided I needed to hire them for hair as well as makeup and when my husband decided he needed a bit of assistance as well. They asked the right questions of me and my wedding party to make sure we would each get the specific look we wanted. (Since I had a vintage looking dress I wanted the makeup and hair to look right with it, and they really fulfilled my vision.) The makeup and hair lasted very well throughout the night. I would definitely recommend hiring them for your event.

I really loved working with Willow House for my wedding - I found them quite late in the process but immediately booked after my trial with Eduardo. He did an amazing job on my hair and made sure everything looked perfect. He also did beautiful styling on two of my bridesmaids and my mom. The booking and payment was totally seamless too! 10/10 would recommend.

My experience working with Willow House was perfect. Communication was easy, and the trial was great. Weronika, Abi, and Megan did an amazing job on my wedding day--all were so kind and nice and just a pleasure to be around on what can be a stressful morning! Weronika knew I was nervous about shininess in photos and used this amazing primer that completely solved my T-zone worries and kept me looking amazing in photos the entire night. Abi did my hair exactly as I envisioned and did such a good job securing it that it still looked flawless after hours of photos in lots of wind and even more hours on the dancefloor. This team met every need for our wedding day! And everything happened on time. Eduardo nailed the look I was going for. It was SO secure and polished. I was nervous about my accessory (the tikka) but he also pinned that flawlessly. Marina listened attentively to each piece of subtle feedback to change my makeup look and wow- I felt beautiful AND like myself. We both thought it was perfect. They were both so skilled, friendly, generous to share their supplies, and helped us all look and feel our best. The Willow House Beauty team was amazing to work with in preparation for my wedding! The make up artist she connected me with, Kara, was excellent! She struck the perfect balance between glowed up and natural beauty. Kara was also funny, kind and easy going (perfect balance to my high strung, and tightly wound self and family). My entire experience with Michelle, Carley, and Johnny was exceptional! The wedding day can be stressful, but the Willow House team arrived with professionalism, fun, and calm. They were also flexible with all requests and understood the vision for the looks (modern, fresh, soft glam). The day of the wedding was very rainy so we ended up doing hair and makeup in our apartment along with photographs. They went above and beyond to help set up the place and gave lots of love to our dog, Ella, who was very anxious to have so many people around. Very grateful for this team!

My wife and I recently used Willow House for our hair/makeup for our wedding and we were thrilled with their work. Michelle, Johnny, Weronika, and Laura were kind, supportive, and made everyone look stunningly beautiful. They brought so much calm and positivity with them, effectively setting the tone for the entire morning. Everyone spoke highly of Weronika’s cool energy and ease. Laura was able to be emotionally supportive in a high stress moment during the morning. Due to an unexpected half marathon, Johnny was 20-30 minutes late arriving. But not only did he make up the time, he was composed and reassuring every step of the way. He truly didn’t waver once, which made my wife feel confident that we were still going to get out the door on time…which we did! We chose to pay for touch-ups which were 100% worth it, especially because it ended up being a rainy day. Michelle reapplied lips, eyeliner and blush for all 12 of us at the venue, and Johnny re-curled every hair on my wife’s head ten minutes before our ceremony. In addition to being phenomenal artists and people, the Willow House team is also inclusive and socially conscious. When we first started planning our wedding, my wife and I were afraid of ending up with vendors that weren’t LGBTQ+ friendly. The wedding industry isn’t made for queer people, but Willow House seeks to change that. The team is queer-owned and most, if not all, of the stylists are queer themselves. They were so open and easy to work with, inclusive in their language, and never put any assumptions or biases on us or our wedding party. We’d strongly recommend choosing Willow House for your hair and makeup needs!

I came to my hair stylist, Laura, and Makeup Artist, Aneta, well in advance of my wedding day to do a trial to ensure Willowhouse was the right fit. Right away I knew they were the right choice. Not only was my final hair and makeup product exactly as I had envisioned, they were willing and able to amend and tweak my vision along the way. Both Laura and Aneta never hesitated to ensure I was pleased with every element of my hair and makeup vision. I had a make up trial with Michelle and immediately cancelled all other make up trials and booked with her before even meeting with my hair stylist Chelsea because I trusted that obviously their hair team would be amazing as well - and I was correct. Michelle listened to me and took her time making sure I was comfortable and happy with my look. I was going for a more natural make up look and felt so beautiful on my wedding day and like myself on my best day. Chelsea did my hair and she was incredible. She let me try a few different variations of my style during the trial and was so patient with me. the most incredible team and vendor out there. i used olivia and laura for my big day for my hair/makeup as well as my 8 family/friends, and everyone's glam came out perfect. everyone was excited and felt like their best self! both laura and olivia listened to what everyone wanted, and created looks that were EXACTLY what we were looking for. not to mention they were so fun and calming to have around the morning of. highly recommend!

Not only did Morgan and Callan do an amazing job on everyone's hair and makeup, they also contributed to such a fun, stress-free environment getting ready. I worked with Willow House Beauty for wedding hair and makeup, and I am BEYOND happy with how everything turned out. My makeup was beautiful, and my eyes popped in every single photo. My bridesmaids all mentioned Willow House was the best their hair and makeup has ever looked for a wedding. During the trial, they were patient and willing to work with me on hair extensions as well as different hair styles to see which one looked best (I couldn't decide) and come day-of, everything was truly perfect. Could not recommend them enough!

I knew from the first phone meeting with Michelle that I wanted to use WH for my wedding. Michelle is so sweet and friendly and took the time to explain the whole process and answer any questions I had. My hair and makeup trial was such a great experience as Michelle and Laura took the time to listen to my ideas and were so patient with me as I went back and forth on a few options. We also laughed the whole time and felt like friends hanging out! The day of the wedding was no exception. They were so professional and amazing with me and all of my bridesmaids and family members. They made sure to reflect each person's individual styles and everyone came out looking STUNNING. I felt so beautiful and confident on my wedding day and I can't recommend the Willow House team enough!! Will definitely be booking them again if I ever need hair and makeup for any future special events!

Willow House was amazing! I was referred through a friend and so grateful to her because Michelle, Aneta, Laura, and Emily made me and my bridesmaids feel so special on my big day! I did my trial with Aneta and Laura and they were wonderful, working with me to make sure I was comfortable and happy with my hair and makeup. They took notes and gave me tips for pre-wedding prep. Laura even introduced me to my new hair stylist (regular cut/color) in the city! Michelle and her team were so great with scheduling and questions. On the big day, Emily helped in addition to Laura and Aneta. The moms and bridesmaids were so happy with their hair and makeup, which was flawless the entire night. I felt like a princess and was over the moon with my bridal look. Willow House was an important part of my special day!💙

I cannot thank Willow House enough for everything on my special day. I planned an intimate destination wedding in NYC so unfortunately did not have time for a trial. Natasha (hair) and Aneta (makeup) still made me look exactly how I envisioned. They were professional, easy going, on time, and most importantly everyone looked and felt incredible. They worked with me when plans changed at the last minute, and I would highly encourage having a 'touch up' team especially if you think it might be rainy on your day. My hair fell a bit after a 2 hour photoshoot in the rain prior to the ceremony, and my artists quickly got me ready to go again before I walked down the aisle. I am beyond thrilled that I chose Willow House as the glam team for my wedding. I am a pretty low maintenance gal with a very limited makeup kit of my own. I had no idea what I wanted for a hair/makeup look for my wedding, but I knew that I didn't want to go from no-makeup to insane overdone makeup. When I first browsed their site and Instagram page, I knew that Willow House could make people look absolutely stunning without making them look like different people from who they are on a day-to-day basis. By the time I got to my trial, I wasn't that much closer to knowing what kind of look I wanted and the Willow House team found a look for me, after looking at my dress, that they thought would compliment the dress and stay true to my natural look. I am so so so grateful for them for pushing me to be a little bit more glam because I felt completely special and completely me even just from the trial. After the trial, when I came up with an additional thought to go with my look (pearls in hair!!), they were supportive and excited and extremely helpful in figuring out how I could achieve the look. In general, their communication from the time I booked them through the wedding day was great and I was happy to have a badass team I felt comfortable reaching out to with my dumb (to me!) questions. THENNNN the wedding day came and OH. MY. GOD. My entire wedding party looked and felt beautiful. Every single person who was there to help us with hair + makeup (we had a 5-person glam team total for my 12 gals) was amazing at what they did. They were able to work with so many hair styles, textures, skin tones and they were all so pleasant to spend the morning and afternoon with while we all got ready in a tight space. I can't recommend Willow House enough if you're looking to feel like it's the biggest day of your life, but you want to feel like you as you do it. THANK YOU MICHELLE + YOUR WHOLE TEAM!!

Love Willow House Beauty so much and I'm so grateful to have had them with me for my June 2022 wedding! Michelle and Chelsey, along with their assistants, really made us look and feel beautiful - even with some insane heat that day! From the moment I connected with Michelle, it just felt like she understood the look I wanted - elevated, natural beauty with a touch of glam that still felt like ME. My girls loved their hair and makeup, as did I, and they have such amazing, calming energy they bring to the madness of a wedding morning. We changed wedding venues and therefore had to change our getting ready location (to a smaller space than we originally had), but Michelle's team handled our revisions with ease and were super communicative throughout the planning process. Everyone absolutely loved their hair and makeup and they were so nice and fun to hang with when getting ready! From the makeup + hair trial to the day of our wedding, we were thrilled to work with this queer owned business. Weronika and Johnny are SO talented, showed up promptly with the best attitudes, and made us all feel both glamorous and like our best selves. My wife is non-binary and was nervous about wearing makeup; Weronika was patient, kind, and made sure that Katie’s make up was gender affirming and that they were happy even if that meant a little extra emotional labor. 100/10 would recommend hiring Willow House.
