We had attended this venue years before we got married here, and always said we wanted it here. The owners were lovely and incredibly helpful. They were easy to contact and get answers to all my questions. On the day of, one of their gentlemen stayed the whole time to make sure everything was perfect. He also kept checking in on me to make sure I was ok and didn't need anything. I cannot recommend them enough. Everything was beautiful and I would not have changed it for anything.

Windy Hill was the perfect venue for our wedding! It was a great value in this area and they were so responsive and helpful! Everything was easy and it couldn't have been more beautiful. Lauren was there for us whenever we had a question and they worked to let us see the venue as many times as we needed!

Gerri was great to work with and we LOVED the venue. Absolutely gorgeous! We had a late May wedding in 95 degree heat, but their outdoor location was perfectly shaded and as the name states had a pleasant cooling breeze! The barn also stayed nice and cool during the reception! Would recommend this venue to anyone!

Liliana and I are so grateful to have had the opportunity to have our wedding in this amazing place. The venue it’s incredibly gorgeous, spacious and affordable. The owners are great. Mrs Gerri went above and beyond. The staff was very friendly, accommodating and even offering a helping hand at the end of the reception. Windy Hill Wedding and Event Barn was the absolute perfect venue for our wedding! Gerri was really easy to work with, and she let us visit the venue any time we needed. The barn is absolutely beautiful, and it even still smells like wood! The grounds around the barn are well-maintained. There are a lot of different areas that were perfect for pictures. Even the parking lot was beautifully decorated with the string lights! The best part of the venue - AC! The day of our wedding was a typical South Carolina summer day (HOT!), so we were able to move our ceremony inside and everyone was comfortable because of the air conditioning! I seriously can't say enough nice things about this venue. I HIGHLY recommend!

The venue is absolutely stunning. The outside is beautiful and the inside smells brand new and is very clean. The barn has plenty of space with a kitchen for caterers, and an area for the bride and groom to get ready. I met on site many times with my vendors before the big day, and Gerri the venue owner was very accommodating and gave me the code to get in the barn in case she was out of town. Before closing this venue, I was going to use Lindsey Plantation. However, I am SO GLAD I chose this venue instead because it has 4 A/C units, which kept my guests very cool during a hot July day. Everyone was raving about the venue and how perfect it was. The barn is absolutely breathtaking. It would be perfect for an outdoor fall wedding due to the beautiful fire pits located beside the barn. The landscape is also perfect for portraits because it includes a windmill and another old barn off to the side. I also liked the fact that at this venue, there was a backup plan in case it rained. I had a great experience using Windy Hill Barn. I am so happy with my decision and the family that owns it is SO SWEET!

The venue was gorgeous and the perfect environment for our wedding! From the new wood smell, the beautiful chandeliers, the land around it and everything was great! The staff was very friendly as well! Very Happy!

Gerri (the owner) was beyond wonderful to work with. She saved our wedding from a catering fiasco (the caterer didn't show up) and had a BBQ company she was connected to prepare food for 200 people in under an hour. She's highly personable and quick to respond to texts and calls. The venue is absolutely stunning and is a great value for such a big space! It has a great rustic yet classy feel to it. We fit around 200 in the barn and there's plenty of beautiful land surrounding the barn that's great for use too. All the furniture you'll need (white folding chairs, tables, decorative tables, etc.) is already on site which was a huge convenience. One of the Greenville area's hidden gems. Pros: Great value, absolutely beautiful space, spacious, includes lots of decorations/furniture, straight view of the sunset on the property behind the barn (made for great pictures!), Gerri is very flexible and easy to work with, has a great kitchen space for caterers, good location. Cons: A few days before the wedding, we were told that because we had over 100 guests attending we would need to hire an off duty police officer. At the time, this was not in the contract, even though Gerri insisted it was. It was definitely a challenge to put this together so last minute. Just know that you will have to hire one - she'll recommend a police officer that charges $40/hour. Also, there are getting-ready spaces for the bridal party and the groomsmen, but they are tight. We had 6 ladies in our getting ready room and we couldn't all get ready at the same time. We got ready off site and came on site for a few last minute touches. Overall, I'd highly recommend Windy Hill. Great new up and coming venue!
