Sarah Jane was an absolute delight to work with! Our wedding photos are incredible and everyone is raving about them. Sarah Jane’s attitude, demeanor, and professionalism make her fit right in with your family. We got our first look (100 photos) 24 hours after our wedding which was such a surprise and a real treat. I would highly, highly recommend her!

Sarah Jane is experienced, well priced, a consummate professional, incredibly prepared and has all the vibes. We worked with her for our two day multicultural wedding because: 1) she had the experience to bring out all the skin hues without making folks disappear in the dark or appear like ghosts 2) she balanced the must-have portraits with candid pics that help us relive our wedding weekend 3) her prep list really made us think of what was important to us and informed our schedule 4) she's a JOY to be around. My husband and I enjoyed working with her and multiple guests remarked on her playful yet firm way of getting the shot. Easily one of the best decisions we made. Just hire her already!!

Sarah Jane is an amazing Photographer, no doubt about that, and she goes way above and beyond to ensure your needs are met during your special day! We had the pleasure to work with Sarah Jane during our engagement shoot and wedding day. One of the biggest concerns we had when looking for a photographer is if we would be able to feel like ourselves in front of the camera. Let me tell you something, Sarah Jane is there for you! She’s so good at making you feel comfortable and confident and we never felt in any moment any sort of awkwardness or discomfort. It was honestly just pure joy and fun when shooting with her. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. My husband and I hired Sarah Jane for our wedding in June 2024 and she was above and beyond all expectations we could have possibly had for a wedding photographer! From the first planning meeting, to the coordination details leading up to the day, and then the actual wedding day itself and all of her amazing work during it - Sarah Jane was the absolute consummate professional. Finding a wedding photographer with a keen eye for those unguarded candid moments, both between us as a couple and amongst our guests, was of the utmost importance. We also wanted someone with whom we could be ourselves, be at ease as our loving and goofy selves. We struck gold on both accounts with Sarah Jane. So many amazing candids full of beauty, emotion, humor and love. In part, because she made us feel crazy comfortable. Her presence encouraged us to embrace the moments. Ours was a candlelit February wedding and as a bonus, Sarah Jane exquisitely captured the magical, moody and romantic vibe of our ceremony and reception. Sarah Jane is exceptionally personable, kind and fun, all the while absolutely professional. Her calm, "whatever I can do to help" approach throughout the planning process and wedding day festivities was a tremendous gift. She wants to know what's most important to you as a couple, but she also wants to know you. Finally, although she is very experienced with our venue, she went above and beyond with her preparation, coming the evening before to fully gauge the winter lighting and other variables, leaving nothing to chance. We are abundantly grateful that Sarah Jane shared and captured our day, giving us a wealth of forever memories to keep!

Sarah was THE PERFECT photographer for our engagement and wedding photos. She photographed my sister’s wedding a few years ago and once her photos came back, I knew I had to have her for my wedding too! My husband and I recently got our entire gallery back from our wedding on 9/30 and we could not be more in love with every single photo she took! Sarah Jane captures moments throughout the day that feel warm, natural, and when looking through the photos, it feels like you are reliving the day over again. She not only went above and beyond with taking thousands of photos, but also helped my mom bustle my dress, helped make sure we were on schedule throughout the wedding, and frequently checked in with us to make sure we were doing okay! She is professional, timely, organized, and a wonderful person to be around! Highly recommend her to be your wedding photographer!

Sarah was the secret to our elopement's success. My husband and I knew we wanted a small, intimate ceremony in mountains, but we weren't sure where to start. We hired Sarah knowing that we'd scored an awesome photographer. What we didn't realize was that, in the process, we'd also brought on a trail guide, sunset expert, skilled people-wrangler, creative director, etc. She put us at ease early on with her generosity (and obvious desire to exceed expectation... like *seriously* exceed them), and made our shoots as dreamy as we hoped they'd be. Sarah is a multihyphenate dreamworker, and we will credit some of our best memories to working with her! Hire her and it'll be the best wedding-planning decision you'll make!

I cannot say enough good things about Sarah Jane! She did such an AMAZING job capturing our wedding day. The pure talent she has is absolutely incredible. Our venue had a lot of forest and darker areas, but she made it look so bright and highlighted all the best areas in each photo, from the people to the nature around us. Beyond just the photos she was able to capture, Sarah Jane is wonderful to work with. She helped us figure out our timeline, was always prompt with responding to any questions we had, and was very flexible and patient on the day of when our hair and makeup team was running late. Sarah Jane is also incredibly funny and made us feel comfortable with different poses, even with zero previous experience in front of a camera. Lastly, Sarah Jane goes above and beyond just being a photographer. She helped bustle my wedding dress and had all the extra resources on hand for the day of (like Liquid IV) to ensure we were comfortable and everything went smoothly. We originally found Sarah Jane when looking for a photographer with experience taking pictures in the mountains but we ended up loving her for so many more reasons than that! She was great at communicating with us leading up to our wedding and gave up so much of her time to talk with us about our vision for the wedding, plans for our engagement session, our timeline, and so many other details. She also made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. My husband and I are both awkward and don't take great pictures so I was very nervous for our wedding/engagement photos but from the second we started working with Sarah Jane, we felt calm and relaxed. She was able to capture us so naturally! Sarah Jane was also extremely helpful on the day of our wedding . She offered to bring the bouquets from the reception venue to our ceremony, she kept our timeline moving along perfectly, and she handled some stressful situations very well. On top of all of that, she is incredibly sweet, friendly, and fun to be around! We absolutely love all of our photos and they are the perfect mix of cute candids, portraits, and shots of the most important moments from our day. We could not recommend Sarah Jane more strongly!

Sarah Jane was amazing to work with! She’s a blast to spend time with and found a way to bring the best side out of both of us in every shot. In meetings before, she listened and took into account all of the aspects of the day that were important to us for her to capture and she delivered!! Sarah Jane was AMAZING from the very beginning! She offered a planning guide and vendor recommendations, and felt more like a photographer/coordinator. On the actual day, she wasn't phased by the rain and helped me come to terms with it haha. She had such fun ideas while we were doing bridal portraits, like getting in a canoe or on a Vespa! She was efficient and we had plenty of time before the ceremony to relax with our loved ones. She made sure we got photos with my 6 month old niece who was only awake for a very small window! She was patient while we herded our big extended families together for Christmas card photos lol. And she helped fix my bustle when my darling husband ripped one out after like 2 minutes of dancing. We adore how she captured not just us, but the natural beauty of the day as well! The handful of prints she sent with the full gallery are now hanging proudly in my classroom for all my students to enjoy. She also sent a key chain with our wedding date in roman numerals, to match the decor I purchased for the wedding, which is just so so thoughtful! I'm not sure if she's even aware, but I have a key chain from my husband and I's very first date, and now I have one to commemorate our wedding day as well! Choosing Sarah Jane as our photographer was the best and easiest decision we made while planning our wedding. Sarah Jane is an outstanding photographer. But, just as important, she is an incredible wedding photographer. Those aren’t the same. You can be great at taking photos without being great at capturing moments. Weddings are wonderful, joyous occasions. But they’re also stressful and sometimes awkward. There are the family members you don’t quite get along with and a thousand other hiccups that you worry will ruin the day. Having a photographer that can capture the joy while soothing the stress was a godsend. From the moment we met Sarah Jane, we knew we were in good hands. Personally, we hadn't been to many weddings for other people, so we weren't sure what to expect from photographers or weddings, for that matter. Sarah Jane took the time to get to know us and understand what we were looking for in our wedding photos. Sarah Jane was brilliant—she provided clear lines of communication and met with us on Zoom several times before the big day. She helped us establish a day-of wedding timeline, a shot list for our most important family group photos, and a set of important details we wanted to have photographed. On the day of our wedding, Sarah Jane was an absolute delight and a calming presence. She arrived early and was ready to go. She was organized and detail-oriented, following the timeline of events that she had helped us create, and she came prepared with everything she needed, including a pen for us to sign our wedding documents. She helped us set down any nagging worries and focus on what we loved about each other. She drew out silliness and giggles and love, and then she captured it. Looking back at our photos, it feels like we are transported back to our wedding day. Sarah Jane has a gift for capturing those little moments that can make a wedding so special—from the way my partner and I looked at each other during our first look and during the first dance, to the hugs and smiles during our ceremony, and the laughter during the reception toasts. Plus, she is incredibly adaptable and prepared to find creative solutions to any problems that may come up. For instance, we were hoping for ‘golden hour’ sunset photos, but a sudden cold front and clouds were forecasted on the day of the wedding. Anticipating this, she used natural light and lanterns to create a dreamy, romantic effect. Part of this talent comes from her love for what she does, which comes through in every photo she takes, and makes her work exceptional. Overall, we cannot recommend Sarah Jane highly enough. She is a shining gem of a person, and we feel so lucky to have had her as our wedding photographer. Sarah Jane is incredibly skilled at her craft with an eye for making people look their best, who can help you feel at ease in front of the camera, and who has a gift for capturing the emotion of your wedding day in a way that is truly special. It's so hard to choose a wedding photographer, but trust us when we say that you will have the best experience if you choose Sarah Jane. She is the BEST! Working with Sarah Jane is like working with an old friend. She immediately makes you feel comfortable, at ease, and joyful. She is great at helping you pose without making it feel forced or awkward. We’re so glad we chose Sarah as our photographer! Her wonderfully detailed timeline, her infectious energy, and her ability to capture the moment made our day fun and extremely smooth. We had several friends (especially the wedding party) comment on how great she was. We didn’t do an engagement shoot and had never done a couples photoshoot before, but Sarah made it fun and easy. I felt she really captured us, was excited about our vision, and was such a great hype woman during all the photos. Her planning in advance gave me full confidence the day would go well (even our DJ commented on her amazing timeline), but her ability to adapt and switch things really made our photos great. Advice from several friends was to book a photographer you wanted to hang with all day (because you will be) and Sarah was exactly that!

Best decision ever! Sarah is an amazing photographer. Not only did she arrive early but she also came super prepared just in case we were missing anything needed for getting ready and for the wedding itself. During the getting ready pictures, we felt super comfortable right off the bat as Sarah put me and the wedding party at ease. She made taking pictures fun and exciting. We truly appreciated her enthusiasm through it all and her subtle reminders to “relax and enjoy the wedding!” Sarah also sent us a sneak peek of our photos within 24 hours which is crazy amazing of her!! We then received the rest of our photos within 6 weeks. We love love them all. Our wedding party and family praised and applauded Sarah for taking such amazing photos and for making it such an enjoyable time while doing so!

Sarah Jane…where do I even begin? Photographs keep the day forever. They capture the special moments that you don’t always get to see or even remember (it’s a little overwhelming being a bride the day of her wedding!) SJ was the best decision my husband and I made. I honestly get emotional as I think about how grateful I am. My mother in law had a debilitating stroke a year ago so I knew the wedding was going to be emotional. At one point my MIL made it all the way up a set of stairs to see me try on my gown. She had never gone up stairs before. As she was coming up I began to cry. She cried. Other family and friends cried. We embraced in the biggest hug ever. Sarah Jane caught every single moment. The tears. The facial expressions. The embrace. Everything. Aside from Sarah Jane capturing amazing moments like this (including my husband crying as he saw me down the aisle) but she was FUN!! As part of our package we did an engagement shoot and chose a cute cabin at Mount Rainier. Sarah Jane scoped out the place and made it such an easy going and even giddy experience. We played records which got my husband and I dancing, and even did an impromptu photo shoot in the hot tub. She constantly did things to make us laugh and smile for the camera, and we ended up making an album of photos because they were all so “us.” Thank you times a million to Sarah Jane. Photos are FOREVER. She is worth EVERY PENNY. ❤️❤️

I booked Sarah Jane to be our wedding photographer and it was the best decision I made for our wedding (besides saying I do of course!). From our first introduction call to receiving my gallery has been nothing short of phenomenal. She is so kind, silly, professional, personable, and makes you feel so stunning and loved throughout the whole day. She sent us a sneak peak the morning after (like wow!) and I had a full gallery less than month after my wedding. My husband isn't a big photo guy, but he absolutely loves the photos Sarah Jane captured. Worth every penny! We ended up having our wedding on our property where we are currently building a house on....yes, we got married in the middle of construction zone. Crazy! This unique venue situation could have been very daunting for any photographer, but Sarah Jane was so prepared and even excited about all the possibilities! All my concerns for a "rustic construction" wedding were alleviated by Sarah's skill and professionalism. Did I mention our photos are amazing?! You honestly can't go wrong hiring Sarah Jane. I'd do it 1000x over!

There are not enough words to string together how wonderful Sarah was! She did our engagement and wedding photos and they were absolutely breathtaking. Sarah photographed our elopement at Mount Rainier in early August and it was such an amazing experience. She took the time early in the process to understand exactly the vibe we were going for, and was instrumental in picking out the most stunning places in the park for photos. On the day of the wedding, she was so much fun to be around and worked so seamlessly with our day-of coordinator to make sure everything was running smoothly and on time, and made us and our wedding party feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We got a ton of sneak peak photos less than 48 hours after the wedding, and our full gallery just 4 weeks after the wedding! We are OBSESSED with our wedding photos, we couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture our day, and feel so blessed to have these photos to cherish forever. Choosing Sarah Jane to do our engagement and wedding photos was definitely one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Besides her work being STUNNING (duh!) she has such an amazing eye for detail, great organizational skills and was so adaptable during our wedding day. During the home stretch of our wedding, Sarah Jane helped us make a timeline for our portraits, family photos, and bridal party photos that worked around our ceremony and through our reception as well as helped us plan our wedding send off! It ended up raining on our wedding day, and Sarah Jane helped to capture the most amazing photos outside of our venue and even brought umbrellas that helped to elevate our photos and capture the true Seattle PNW vibes. We cannot say enough positive things about Sarah Jane, she's an absolute gem!! After watching her magic at my friend's wedding a few years back I knew instantly that I'd need her shoot to my special day as well (one day)! When my time finally came, Sarah Jane was the first vendor that we booked and afterwards everything else fell smoothly into place. Sarah Jane helped us plan a beautiful engagement shoot on Mount Baker while also taking time to help us scope out possible ceremony spots for the following year. She helped us develop a timeline for both our ceremony and our reception, and that was a HUGE lifesaver!! Then when our ceremony location had to change just two weeks before our big day due to the snow levels on Mount Baker, Sarah Jane quickly reworked our plans while still managing to incorporate everything that was important to us. She was phenomenal when it came to managing our large family in group/individual photos, completing many shots in a very short amount of time. Somehow she manages to capture all of the sentimental, candid, and funny photos all at the same time....I swear she's an absolute ninja with a dynamite personality!!!! We loved every moment we spent with Sarah Jane and we can't stop drooling over all of our breathtaking photos.

Sarah Jane is the best. She was so helpful in planning the days events prior to the wedding and then helping orchestrate them the day of. She’s super relaxed and works well with those uncomfortable in front of a camera (cough cough, my husband, cough) and was able to capture some great moments for us. She checked in with both of us regularly to see how we were doing and offered to get us anything we needed. Sarah goes beyond just taking photos. She really is the whole package. I would highly recommend her as your wedding/elopement photographer.

Sarah Jane is THE. BEST. My husband and I are so uncomfortable with PDA and being in front of a camera, but she makes us laugh and loosen up so much, the pictures turn out great! She also helped us out with suggestions for session locations, and was always on board for any ideas we had. Sarah Jane is the best ever! If we could add more stars to the review, we absolutely would! The photos we've gotten portray the beauty and emotions of the day exactly. From the happy tears, laughter, excitement, and how gorgeous the day was (perfect sunny day in April!), Sarah Jane captured it all! We couldn't ask for an easier photographer to work with. She spent the whole weekend traveling to make it to our venue, taking photos all day, and then driving back home... and she still got us a few sneak peek photos the next morning after the wedding, and a full sneak peek gallery the day after that! She has such a calm demeanor and can do attitude that made the wedding day seem so smooth. She helped coordinate random things with the venue, videographers, and other vendors so we didn't have to worry about a thing day of. Having Sarah capture our wedding was the best decision we made that day besides marrying each other! I discovered Sarah's work on Pinterest while planning our winter mini destination wedding. I was drooling over her photos when I realized OMGOSH she was in Washington where we were planning our wedding! From the first time we connected till after our wedding, she was THE MOST responsive professional I've ever met! We had planned a Christmas themed wedding in Leavenworth in December, including actual reindeer, and our ceremony 30 minutes away at Lake Wenatchee. Leading up to the day of, she watched the weather just as intently as we did praying for snow in the driest December on record. She fielded my many panicked bride emails and was incredible at reassuring me the day would still be beautiful snow or not. The day of was wild and she was the calming force that kept me from totally losing it. She's really, really good at that! The reindeers peed and pooped all over my dress, my sister forgot the bouquets, and we arrived at the ceremony site to a literal windstorm that required taking shelter in the snowy forest for our ceremony. My hair and dress were completely blown apart and I was hangry (eat on your wedding day brides!). Sarah literally saved the day keeping us laughing and coordinated and giving us such great direction it felt effortless to have our photos taken. No awkwardness in posing just pure fun! The next day when we received our sneak peek (ya'll it was like 25 photos! I was expecting like 6!) We shrieked with joy! You would never think from our photos that a single thing wasn't perfectly planned, even the windstorm! Our photos exude passion and breathtaking depth of color. We are two people truly awkward at having our photo taken , but with Sarah's fun and clear instructions of what to do, it was effortless. She has a way of keeping you in the moment with your loved one feeling like the only two people in the world, while she's capturing stunning photographs. She truly created an environment of intimacy for us while making sure we'd have photographic proof of how powerful that intimacy felt. I honestly don't know why anyone would look for another photographer as long as Sarah is in the business of taking photos. You seriously won't find better! Sarah Jane is the best wedding photographer a couple could ask for. She is beyond talented and very creative with how she took photos at our venue. She utilized objects and decorations around the event center as props to really bring the photos to life. Every photo perfectly captured special moments throughout the day and on top of that she helped us stick to our schedule and keep the ball rolling. She also helped me build the perfect day of timeline. She made my husband and I, two camera shy individuals, feel comfortable the entire time she took photos. She has such a fun personality that it is hard not to smile when she is behind the camera. We were so incredibly lucky to have had Sarah as both our engagement and wedding photographer. She was so easy to work with and made us feel so comfortable and at ease throughout the entire process. In every way Sarah went above and beyond for us from making a detailed time line for us on the wedding day to checking in to make sure that I had enough food and water. She also got our photos back to us at an incredible speed and I am still not sure how she pulls it all off (perhaps the help of Dobby). I am amazed by how she was able to capture so many amazing moments. Not many photographers are willing to go full ninja-mode jumping into bushes to make sure she got just the right sunset shot, but Sarah did it with a smile!

Oh my gosh, I can't even imagine not having Sarah as our wedding photographer! Sarah Jane is AMAZING. From the moment she spent over a freaking hour on the phone with me just to talk about our vision for the wedding I knew she was the girl for me. Even 2 months after my wedding my guests are STILL talking about how amazing and on top of everything she was. She danced on the floor with all of us, ensured I had enough water and food through out the night, and captured Every. Single. Moment. She has some sorcery magic because I swear within a few weeks I had all of my photos from the wedding. I will figure out a way for her to capture all my future photos because I don’t want anyone else!

Hiring Sarah was one of our best wedding decisions. She is SO much more than just your photographer. She took so much time beforehand to meet with us, review timelines, & help us envision what the day would look like. She provided lots of great resources and helped connect us to other vendors. Honestly you could not ask for a better photographer. Sarah Jane was amazing at our engagement photos on making us feel comfortable and knew exactly how to capture our goofiness. She taught us some go to posing to use at the wedding and everything felt so natural. When it comes down to the details Sarah Jane was perfect for helping me nail down a timeline for day of and making sure she was there to help in any way she could. At our wedding I had so many people come up and say she was the best photographer they had ever seen at a wedding because she was so friendly, organized and honestly just an amazing person. She made sure I was hydrated, the dogs were being watched after and that everything went on without a hitch. Best wedding decision we made!! Oh and her pictures were stunning.
