The entire staff we worked with were all amazing. We specifically worked closely with Brittany and she was very timely with her responses to any questions or concerns we had. Things went very smoothly with the timeline leading up to the wedding such as scheduling food tastings and tours of the venue. Once the wedding weekend came, we were able to work with Brittany to make sure our day went perfectly. She helped us design the layout we wanted for the ballroom and worked with our other vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page. My husband and I would 100% choose to work with the Best Western Premier Inn again - our day was unforgettable thanks to their staff!

I want to start this off by saying I have never written a review online, for anything, anywhere in my entire life but I feel compelled to write this after the complete lack of respect we had at our wedding reception at Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn. We choose this location and we could not have regretted our decision more. Upon check in, we quickly realized that the hotel had double booked our reception night with a Fergus Falls hockey team that was 30+ members strong. We shared bathrooms, could see each other, and were even within talking distance the entire evening. On top of this, Best Western employed a plain clothed security guard from a third-party vendor (not associated with Best Western) by the name of Tom, who single handedly was able to play judge, jury, and executioner of our wedding reception. Eventually, at around 10pm, the rowdy Fergus Falls hockey attempted to crash our reception and the groom and bride’s father then had to remove the hockey team themselves, and had to remind Tom to do his job of keeping other members of the hotel out. Tom became irate; bullying the wedding party, threatening to call the cops and kick out the bride and groom. It was at this point that the bartender, Bethany, started to cut off other members of the bride and grooms’ family, essentially cutting the entire reception off 3 hours early. No managers, no assistant managers, nobody we could talk to other than Tom and Bethany. We felt so trapped and helpless in this situation and it was truly heartbreaking. Upon speaking with Michael Goodman, the GM, he managed to only speak with Tom and Bethany, and didn’t reach out to any of the party members. We were not only disrespected by the security guard, but also management. We are disappointed that we will never get this happy moment back, and would not recommend this location to anyone.

After spending 3+ hours reviewing surveillance video of your event, I feel we do need to t...
ake additional responsibility for how the night ultimately ended. Between our lack of keeping the hockey group under control and our staff not being more engaged with your guests (instead of the security guard), we certainly had some "do differently" moments that we can learn from.
The hockey group was simply offered a hospitality suite (one of our smaller banquet rooms) to alleviate excessive noise in the halls and sleeping room areas of the hotel. With the wedding party "partying" with the hockey group one moment, and then arguing with them the next, it's hard to make sense of it. If our rules and standards were being followed, the hockey group would not have bothered your event any more than the on-site restaurant guests would have. Regardless, they should have been kept in their area so you would feel more relaxed enjoying your area. I apologize for that. I do still need to support my service staff when it comes to alcohol service - even if they make the call to cut someone off prematurely. The bartender (personally) is the one liable in the state of MN, as well as the license holder, if there was an alcohol related accident of some type that occurs. This is the first time in 5+years I have been at this property, that I have had this issue. Unfortunately, yours was the first negative remark/feedback I have received regarding a security service at our hotel. It happened to be that gentleman's first event for us, and it is my understanding that he may have lost his job that night because of the way things were handled.
I do apologize for not owning more of the responsibility sooner. I did not take the time to really research the interactions that occurred that night as I have been consumed with all the COVID-19 details playing in the background of our business.
I did see a lot of people laughing and smiling so it did appear that your guests had a great time.
I sent a message to your father (father of the bride) with more detail and am willing to accept further concessions for our shortcomings as well. Please discuss those points with him and let me know your response.
Thank you again for holding your event with us and I hope we can come to a fair solution that you can feel good about. I am thankful for your business and that you were able to have your reception before all of the restricted assembly regulations came into effect.

We are so happy we chose BWP Nicollet Inn! Alexis is amazing and she was a huge reason we chose this venue. She is so organized, friendly, has great advice, and always gets back to your emails/calls in a timely manner (something a lot of other venues did a poor job of). There wasn't anything she couldn't handle. The layout was great and Alexis and the staff (super friendly staff too) did a great job of taking care of everything so we didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding. They were so accommodating and let us bring all our decorations in that week and even set up the executive board room for us the next morning for family to have brunch in. Also, Morgan's food is delicious and we got multiple compliments on the food from our guests. If you're looking for a beautiful, organized and affordable place that is great for a large "party" group this is the place to go!

We had both our wedding ceremony and reception here. Alexis was very easy to work with - responsive and attentive to needs during the planning process. Alexis was helpful with doing the centerpiece and head table decorations which was great to have one less thing to worry about getting done the day of the wedding. Everything went smoothly the day of the wedding. The food was excellent. If you're looking for a budget friendly venue that is convenient for out of town guests this is the place.

The Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn was an AMAZING venue choice that fit our wedding! The ballroom fit our guests comfortably and still made room for a great dance floor! The food was delicious and the menu options were able to account for multiple plate options. The staff was exceptional; they were efficient in their work, detail oriented in their planning, and coordinated with the DJ and our other vendors well. Alexis was an amazing help throughout the planning process of our wedding! There were so many questions we had that she was able to answer and help us with; I don't know how we could've done it without her!

The Best Western Premier Nicollet In was the best place for my wedding! I had my ceremony there as well. The food catered by Morgan’s was so good and I got many compliments on it. Alexis Erickson, the Wedding coordinator made my day relaxing and I never had to worry about a thing. The size of the ballroom was perfect for my guest count of 190. Not too big where you feel distant from your guests but just enough room where everyone wasn’t crowded. The best place to have your special day at for sure!! ❤️

The first time I met Alexis, the event coordinator, I knew this was our venue for our reception. She was so accommodating and helpful leading up to our date. The ballroom was the perfect size for our party, the bartenders were friendly and fun, and the wait staff was amazing. Our dinner was delicious, and our guests gave rave reviews as well! Most of our friends and family stayed in the hotel, which was super helpful after a long day and night of wedding celebrating. And the next morning, all of the decor we had brought was sitting on a table, waiting for us to gather them up...none of my friends had to help clean up, which is amazing! Highly recommended!

We had our wedding on August 4th, 19 and the day was perfect. Alexis was really amazing to work with. Right from the beginning she made sure the wedding preparation process was as stress free as possible. On the wedding day, she made sure everything went smoothly and we did not have to worry about anything. The staff was also very professional, communicated with us throughout the day and met all our needs. We highly recommend this venue.

I was a stressed bride on a tight budget and Best Western helped me achieve a wedding far better than my Husband and I could have ever dreamed. The food was phenomenal, the staff was incredible and the rooms were beautiful. I also wanted to give a special shoutout to Alexis, our coordinator. She is so professional and friendly, she helped us out when we didn't know what direction to go and made planning so much more simple.
Brides and grooms out there, if you want great food, great service and a lovely venue at an affordable price, I HIGHLY recommend Best Western. You won't regret it.

From the moment we met Alexis at the Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn, we received nothing but the utmost care and attention. Alexis was available for questions anytime we had them, and responded in a very timely manner. Alexis made sure our decorations were set up for the evening and they looked absolutely magnificent! She also made sure everything ran smoothly the day of our wedding. There was never a moment that we were left wondering what was going on. Alexis kept us well informed and made sure we were enjoying ourselves on our wedding day! We also stayed at the hotel the night before and the night of our wedding; the suite was superb and functioned well for getting ready the day of.
We were extremely pleased with their professionalism and would highly recommend the Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn to anyone looking to host an event! Thank you making our wedding even more amazing!

We got married at the Best Western Premier in Burnsville on May 11, 2019. We are so happy that we went with a hotel venue because 90% of our guests were from out of town. The convenience of the location to the airport, access to restaurants so close to the hotel, and so many stores near by for last minute buys!
Our experience working with the venue was great. Alexis is wonderful to work with. She was always super responsive, considerate, and accommodating. Working with her definitely made planning so much easier. They pretty much take care of all the setting up which is a huge relief for the bride and wedding party!
The hotel makes you go through them for food/beverages which I was fine with since it cut down on other decisions I needed to make and they were very reasonably priced. However, I was a little disappointed that the food tasted so much better at the food tasting than the actual reception. The food was still good but was kind of a let down from the tasting.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this venue to couples! Very reasonably priced, super accommodating, and it looks gorgeous all done up with wedding decor!

My husband and I used this venue for our reception in October. This place is fantastic. Their wedding coordinator, Alexis, made our whole experience amazing. She was always available and never made us feel like an inconvenience (and when you are planning a wedding, you have A LOT of questions/requests).
She was in constant contact with all our vendors, helped set up, moved our gifts to our hotel room, and really went above and beyond with everything. Would recommend this venue to anyone searching for one.

My wedding was at this venue and all I can say is wow. Alexis, the venue event coordinator, is amazing. She did 95% of the setup for our ceremony and reception (we elected to do a few things ourselves), and she did phenomenal. She is so easy going and so friendly. She truly felt like a friend by the time the wedding was over. She is VERY responsive to emails and welcomes any you send (and I sent A LOT!) 😂 The food from Morgan’s is amazing!! Our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to!

The staff was friendly and helpful, they set the stage for the night. They helped us figure out a game plan for our reception in the ballrooms. If something came up before hand Alexis was quick with informing us of the change and kept it all very professional. We are extremely happy with the hotel handling everything from rooms to their interactions with the guests we had staying there. We will highly recommend them for events in the future.

We highly recommend the Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn for a reception! We were married in Hawaii and wanted to have a celebration back in Minnesota with family and friends. One of our top priorities was to have really good food served plated, not as a buffet. We also wanted a nice place for our guests to stay and of course, be within our budget. All of these were met! We received so many compliments on the food. It was really good! The servers did a great job getting the food to everyone while it was still hot. One of the best parts was working with Alexis Erickson. She was so responsive and helpful. She had great ideas and guided us through everything with a calm, fun approach.

We held both our ceremony and reception at BWP Nicollet Inn and could not have been happier! Our event manager was Alexis Erickson and wowzers was she fabulous! She is easy going, pleasant, and professional to work with. She answered all our questions/emails promptly and was always willing to meet with us along our wedding planning adventure. We also really appreciated that she genuinely listened to us and understood our vision for our big day. She consistently had suggestions and recommendations when we were unsure or deciding on an aspect of our wedding while also being conscientious of our budget.
The banquet hall is beautiful and we were very impressed with the quality of the tables, chairs, and linens they provide. The food options for our reception were delicious - we went with the Chicken Giselle, herd roasted baby red potatoes and Morgan's blend vegetables - every one raved about the food! All the staff for the night were pleasant and on top of things. The suite we got to stay in after we were done celebrating was gorgeous. BWP Nicollet Inn and Alexis provided an awesome experience while being very reasonably priced. Seriously, it awesome night that we'll never forget!!!💖

Our coordinator Alexis was very professional. We enjoyed working with her. The staff was extremely professional. Shout out to Aldofo who was our event attendant for the reception. The staff did a wonderful job on the reception decorations. We received a lot of good feedback on the food that was prepared by the hotel kitchen. We loved the food. The staff did almost all of the work while we enjoyed a stress free evening. Thank you!

We had our wedding reception here 8/18/18. Everything was beyond expected! Our banquet manager Alexis Erickson was amazing! From beginning to end she was there for everything we needed. She was able to keep us calm and reminded us to have fun and to enjoy our big day! Had numerous guests comment about how wonderful the food (short ribs were awesome!) was during dinner. I’ve been a wedding dj for 20 years in the Twin Cities area, and BWP/Nicollet Inn will be my first recommendation to new brides/grooms!!

I am so happy we chose Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn. It was right in our budget and Alexis was more than willing to help with anything she could. She answered our questions so quickly from the beginning all the way to the end, gave us input when we asked for it and I feel she just went above and beyond her role. On my wedding day it was extremely busy and if she needed something she reached out to other people. When my nephew got nervous about walking up the isle she helped him. It was important to me that my guests with disabilities were able to get around and they could, ramps and seating. It was all there. Seriously she is really good at what she does.
Having a bridal sweet was a great experience for my bridesmaids and I to get ready in together while having the space to get ready, chat and even eat breakfast in. My hair and make up ladies were so happy they had space for their things as well. Then being able to leave my stuff in there and have somewhere to sleep at the end of the day was amazing. We didn't have to worry about if we had everything or where we were going to go. This venue definitely crossed their T's and dotted their I's.
The food was amazing, I keep hearing a lot of compliments about it and I certainly enjoyed mine as well. The cocktail hour and late night snacks were also a huge hit.
If I had to do this all over again I wouldn't change my day at all and I have and would recommend Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn.

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner and wedding dinner/reception at the Best Western Premier and we’re very pleased everything. They were very accommodating to us. We had the opportunity to work with Alexis and she was wonderful. She made the process easy for us. We had an outdoor ceremony planned and the hotel offered a backup plan in case of rain. They also offered an extra boardroom all weekend which ended up being very useful to store all our stuff. We had some guest that had very specific food request. She and the amazing kitchen staff accommodated every request. The food was amazing and we received many compliments from guest. We ended up getting everything we wanted at a very reasonable price. We would highly recommend this venue for your wedding day.

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here in June, and it was an amazing day! We booked over a year and a half before our wedding, but there were some staffing changes along the way that ended up in communication errors, confusing us and some of our guests. Overall, it was an amazing experience. Alexis is great, and transformed the ballroom into the space of my dreams for our reception. Everyone is still raving about the food we had, asking where they can go to get more. It’s a great venue for a great price.

My wife and I just got married and used Best Western as our wedding venue. We loved the facility. We stayed there Friday - Sunday and we had our rehearsal dinner, our ceremony, reception and gift opening/sunday morning brunch at the hotel. It was fantastic. There were a few hiccups on our wedding day and the morning of the brunch but it was all taken care of. We definitely would recommend this place. All of our guests have continued to compliment us and tell us how much fun they had and what a great establishment this was. The food was amazing. Everything we ate was fantastic and all our guests said the same as well.

We absolutely loved this venue! Alexis made everything so simple, and she took care of so many details on the day of the wedding. We heard from MANY guests that the food was the best they ever had at a wedding. I cannot express how happy we were with the food, the organization, and the affordability. Alexis made my vision a reality, without me even realizing exactly what my vision was. Her attention to detail is obvious and she goes above and beyond. She was extremely helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process and answered all of my questions quickly. She was available throughout the evening of our reception which was really comforting to know she was there if anything were to happen. Our food was amazing and the staff were all incredible. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

Our wedding reception at the Best Western Premier was exactly as we had hoped and planned. The spacious room, tasty food, friendly bartender, efficient and positive wait staff, clear communications with the Catering Manager and reasonable cost made it a wonderful experience. I would recommend this venue to anyone without hesitation.

I can't begin to express how amazing the Best Western Premier Inn was for my wedding in October. From the first meeting with Katie to the last minute of the night she was so helpful and accommodating. The food was amazing. Not a single guest had anything bad to say about our food. With me being so picky there were so many options for me to pick through. We had our ceremony there and they did the room flip really fast for our reception. The staff during the reception were very attentive to our needs and our guest needs. You get a lot of service and help from the entire staff at the hotel. The ability to have our full wedding their and stay the night helped ease all the stress. The room blocks went very smooth for my guests that needed rooms. If you need a place to hold your whole wedding or even part of it I recommend going here.

The venue was beautiful and all of the guests commented on how delicious the food was! However we did have some problems with communication with the staff. We paid for an item, delivered it, and the staff for whatever reason never put it out on display. We also were told they could provide certain services for us originally but later on told us it was actually are responsibility. Otherwise it was a wonderful evening and turned out very beautifully.

The perfect venue! One of the reasons why I chose the Best Western Premier Nicollet Inn was because it was literally the package deal, and for a great price. It had everything I wanted: a hotel to stay at the night before and the night of, space to get ready in, a restaurant for the rehearsal dinner, and space for having the ceremony and reception. It made things so easy and less stressful! Katie and the rest of the staff are so wonderful. Katie was so easy to work with and ensured everything was just the way I wanted it to be. Communication via email was so quick. All of the "little things" that went unplanned or I didn't think about ended up working out amazingly and effortlessly due to the great staff at the venue. Thank you guys so much! Highly recommend this venue. For the high quality, size, and location of the Nicollet Inn for the metro area, it is extremely generously priced. Worth every penny - our day was amazing!!

We had our wedding reception here and absolutely loved it! Our hotel coordinator was exceptional and was very helpful and responsive in the months leading up to the big day. It's obvious that the team at this hotel works very well together and does everything they can to ensure that the couple and each of their guests has the best time. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives and we could not have asked for a better place to celebrate with our loved ones.
We had roughly 170 people in attendance and the ballroom was the perfect size!

The space is beautiful: the grand ballroom had plenty of room for our 200 guests, the foyer was perfect for social hour, there was an executive boardroom offered as an extra for holding gifts or making a bridal suite, and the guest rooms were clean, comfortable, and modern. There are several great areas around the inside and outside of the hotel to take pictures. We used uplighting and lighted ceiling draping (extra costs by outside vendors) to enhance the atmosphere in the ballroom. But what we appreciated most was the extremely friendly, helpful, knowledge, and happy staff. We worked with Cathy at the beginning and Katy later on. They were nothing short of amazing! They made everything so easy for us. The catering staff during the reception was amazing as well! Katy and the catering supervisor (I didn't catch his name) were there making sure everything went smoothly. They really know what they are doing! Our guests loved the place as well (and we had some picky guests). An extra bonus is that the hotel bar was open late and a lot of our guests popped over there after midnight when the reception ended. We honestly couldn't have been happier with the staff and space, and we highly recommend the Nicollet Inn!

We had our Wedding Reception at the Nicollet Inn on September 17th and everything was perfect. We worked with Cathy and she was absolutely amazing. Cathy worked very hard to ensure that every detail was just as requested, she went way above and beyond our expectations. The rest of the staff at the hotel was very helpful as well and made sure everything was to our liking. It was so convenient having the reception at the hotel. I was a busy bride and had to run up to our room about 3 times during the reception to get forgotten needed items. I can only imagine what we would have done had I not been able to go to our room. All of our guests said this was the best wedding they had been to in a long time. I definitely recommend the Nicollet Inn as a wedding reception venue or for any other event. Thank You Cathy and the rest of the Nicollet Inn Staff for making our day truly remeberable!

We absolutely loved this venue! We had our ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dance, and late night snacks here. Katie is very professional, organized, and made our day of absolutely perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better location and day of our wedding. The only problem was a stressed out mother of the bride because she couldn't fathom that she didn't need to do more on the day of. Simply amazing venue and staff!

My wedding was in September of 2016. When we arrived to check in they had mixed up some of the rooms but they made it right and fixed everything. Since it ended up raining we were able to take some of our photos in the bar area and they let us use the area by the fireplace. Photos turned out great. Food at the reception was amazing! I liked that they provided the centerpieces so I didn't have to purchase anything but the candles. There was a couple of servers that kept taking peoples drinks when they weren’t finished with them. The bartender they had working all weekend in the Morgan’s restaurant was really slow and not attentive to anyone that was around the bar. It took him almost 10 minutes to notice me standing at the bar (in my wedding dress) for him to ask if I needed anything and it was 4pm on a Friday and the restaurant wasn’t busy. Morgan’s Sunday brunch is amazing! I would recommend eating there to anyone who is in the area.

Katie was excellent to work with! She answered all questions in a timely manner, and was very flexible with our needs! The venue turned out beautiful, even for our large wedding! We had so many compliments on our wedding, specifically the food, which was delicious!

I just want to first say thank you! Our wedding turned out perfect! The venue was great for my 125 person wedding. The lighting and the space looks very classy and elegant. Cathy was a huge help. I was doing almost all of the planning myself and whenever I had a question she got back to me and asked me things I never even thought about. It was so great! Let's not forget about the food!!! OMG the food was so great - that was the one thing that my guests kept saying all night! We had the prime rib buffet and it was superb! Overall I give the place a five star rating! Unbeatable for the location, price and quality!

Working with Nicollet Inn was a dream! Cathy took such great care of us, and made sure that things were exactly as we wanted them. Our guests raved about the food and how beautiful the space was!
I definitely recommend Best Western NIcollet Inn. Most of the venues we looked at were beautiful but SO costly and Best Western was just as spacious and beautiful, for more than half the cost.

The staff at the Nicollet Inn were amazing. They were accommodating to all our wishes for our big day! We have no complaints with the staff and the food was amazing. Our goal was to have our guests have a great time and the staff at Nicollet Inn as well as our wedding coordinator Katie helped us do so.

We stumbled across the Nicollet Inn because we were looking for hotels nearby a different venue we were looking at.
I am SO happy we checked it out as it was amazing! Everything was wonderful from the staff (especially Katie), service, bridal suite, décor and the FOOD.
We decided to go with the chicken giselle and heard from multiple people that it was the BEST food they’ve ever had at a wedding. I would have to agree, it was delicious.
We worked with Katie and she was very professional and always responsive when we had questions. We were grateful for her attention to detail and willingness to make our day special. She offered us to use their votive candles and mirrors for part of our center pieces which I was very appreciative as it was one less thing for me to remember and purchase.
The wedding day was perfect and everything ran smoothly thanks to the attentive staff… I strongly recommend the Best Western Premier-Nicollet Inn!

After much searching we found the Best Western Premier-Nicollet Inn and we were NOT disappointed. The ballroom was spacious and the staff were nothing short of amazing, very friendly and helpful (especially Katie & Jamie). They saved me a lot of time. Our guests raved about our wedding but the number one thing everyone couldn't stop talking about was the food. The chef(s) at the Nicollet Inn created the absolute BEST buffet I have ever had at a wedding, our guests couldn't stop talking about the food, it truly stole the show. I highly recommend using the Nicollet Inn for your next Party or Wedding!

My husband and I were recently married and hosted our wedding reception at the Nicollet Inn. The moment someone recommended the hotel and we looked up photos we were pleasantly surprised. What looks like a standard, run of the mill hotel from the outside is anything but once you step inside. The decor is modern, updated and beautiful, the staff is attentive and helpful and the service was incredible overall. Jaime assisted us in finalizing the details of our wedding, and we were blown away with her sincerity, attention to detail, and willingness to make our day special. She worked with us to ensure the vision we had been dreaming and imagining came to life. She helped coordinate a time we could get in and set up, and assisted in utilizing extra flowers and decor to make sure our event really looked stunning. She coordinated with our vendors to make the entire day seamless. We selected a duet plate of both steak and chicken for our meal and received a lot of wonderful feedback. The portions were generous, and the food was cooked wonderfully- not overcooked and had wonderful flavors. Overall, the hotel was perfect for our wedding size, look and feel. The value you receive at Nicollet is phenomenal- it's truly a 5 star experience. Our day turned out perfect and a large portion of that has to do with the incredible facility and staff at Nicollet Inn. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone looking to host a wedding or even smaller event. You will not be disappointed!

Who knew that you could have a fabulous wedding on a meager budget!!
I honestly felt like I was cheating them because I got it so good.
What a reception! What great staff. By the time the wedding came around I swear my family had adopted Barb. She is professional and approachable! They are rare, and she is a gem indeed.
This is such a great location with a lovely view all year round. The food was amazing. The staff is patient and considerate. Barb will work with you and answer question you didn't even know you needed to ask. The rooms are great. The rates are unbelievable.
It is likely that the next two weddings in my family will use this place for reception.
My husband and I only wished for complimentary breakfast but there is a cute shop just across the street so honestly it was great.
I heartily recommend Nicollet Inn.

We had our reception here with Amber as our coordinator. She exceeded my expectations & was so incredibly helpful. Great food selection - our guests raved about the food - and gorgeous layout and setup for the ballroom where everything took place. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone!

Best Western Premiere couldn't have been a more perfect fit for our wedding! Barb was excellent along with each staff member. We only had 3 months to plan our wedding and everything ran so smoothly. Barb was very flexible with making appointments to meet. I had no worries the day of the wedding, everything was taken care of. I would highly recommend Best Western Premiere for anyone's special day/night.
