Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach

The ballroom in the Wyndham was the perfect place to host our wedding reception! The staff took such great care of our family and friends and worked with all of our outside vendors to make a beautiful event. They also pampered us with a lovely spa package on the night before our wedding!

The Wyndham Grand in Clearwater Beach exceeded our expectations! The staff from initial check in, to the cleanliness of the resort, to the pool staff, and everyone in between was perfect for our stay. On top of that our wedding reception was PERFECT! Kayla helped us plan everything to a T and there were no hiccups at all. She answered all my questions quickly and was able to make my dreams come true. It was legit perfect. The staff day of helped every need the guests or we had. The food was amazing all day. We had breakfast in our suite, dinner at the reception and a late night snack, all delicious! Everyone who attended our wedding was so impressed with the venue, staff and food. The timelines were met and everything was so beautiful. I cannot express enough how grateful we are and how wonderful everything turned out! It was amazing and I will be recommending the Wyndham to everyone I know! We are out of state but will be traveling back to Clearwater often just because the staff and location was so great! Thank you to everyone who made our day so special!

What an exceptional experience! All of the staff are phenomenal to work with, responsive, and professional. I had 92 guests attend our destination wedding and all raved about not only the wedding, but their experience at the hotel. Highly highly recommend. Outstanding food, service, and beyond beautiful venue!

We just got married at the Wyndham Grand on 11/20/2021 and everything was PERFECT! We worked with Danielle initially to secure our date and she was extremely helpful and quick with responding. She was always accessible and went above and beyond to answer all of our questions. Once we locked in our date, we worked with Chynna as the onsite coordinator. Chynna also had great customer service and was very helpful throughout the entire planning process. She had weekly calls with me leading up to the wedding and was very responsive. She was extremely attentive the day of and handled any last minute changes with ease. Her coworker Kayla was also very helpful! We stayed at the resort for about a week overall and the entire staff from the housekeeping, waitstaff, bartenders, guest services, etc. were so friendly and helpful! Our guests raved about the amazing food at the wedding and resort, clean rooms and friendly staff. I would HIGHLY recommend the Wyndham Grand if you are in search of a wedding venue.

The Wyndham Grand Clearwater beach exceeded our every expectation for our wedding. We worked with Wendy & Chynna. They were both excellent. The resort was beautiful, clean, organized, friendly, responsive. We could not of asked for a better venue to hold our special day. What a wonderful time!

We chose the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach for both our wedding accommodations and ceremony location and we truly could not be more happier with our decision. We knew we were in good hands from our very first initial contact with Danielle (Group Sales Manager). She connected us with their preferred wedding planner which set us on a course for success. She repeatedly checked in with us to ensure we were taken care of and the communication was A+! Many of our guests decided to stay the weekend at the Wyndham and April (Rooms Controller) could not have been more helpful. (Thank you April for answering so many questions!) We arrived at the Wyndham a few days before the wedding to relax and settle in before the craziness ensued. The concierge accommodated our early check-in, our million bags, and greeted us with complimentary champagne. (YES!) Within 15 minutes of checking in, we slipped into bathing suits and ordered Pina coladas by the pool - it couldn't have been more idyllic! The beach is just steps away and we loved enjoying all aspects of this incredible location. As with any wedding, there's always last minute changes. From needing last minute name placements at Ocean Hai (thank you, Chelsea and Ivan!) to actually losing my flower delivery (thank you David at concierge!!!) the entire team solved all my issues promptly. They made what should have been a stressful weekend simply magical and stress-free. We chose to have our ceremony on the Palm Lawn -- absolutely gorgeous! You can see the gulf directly from the site. The backdrop looked like a postcard. When it came time to walk down the aisle... it was like something out of a fairytale... I was actually taken aback. Not only did our wedding guests stand, the ENTIRE pool area stood! People came out to their balconies to watch - it was as if time stood still for those few moments and it was so romantic. The rest of the day we had hotel guests coming up to congratulate us and we felt enveloped in love from everyone there. We will return to the Wyndham for the rest of our lives to remember this special weekend and the vows we shared in this spot. Thank you to the entire team!

Excellent food

We are SO happy that we chose the Wyndham for our June wedding- we couldn't have asked for a better location! Finding a venue was the hardest part for us, because we wanted an indoor ceremony in a room that still offered a beautiful view. Thanks to the Wyndham, we were able to get married indoors overlooking the beach (and not be outside in the summer heat!!), and our ceremony pictures turned out so pretty thanks to the natural lighting. We were able to convert that same room into the perfect set up for our reception, and we had a blast! Wendy and Ariel were so great to work with, and they were so patient with us as we took the time to make all of the big and small decisions. Ariel went above and beyond with her communication with myself and my wedding planner, and helped ensure that everything flowed very smoothly. Everything turned out exactly as we envisioned, and you really can't ask for much more than that! My husband and I loved that we were able to go onto the beach for sunset pictures, and we are so appreciative of all that was done to make our day so great. Highly recommend!

The Wyndham is indeed GRAND!!!! I just LOVE Wendy and Ariel. They have a passion for weddings and make every bride and groom feel so special. The view of the sunset is completely breathtaking and what is better than toes in the sand during your wedding weekend??? They bend over backwards to to provide exceptional service and pay attention to even the smallest of details. Especially for destination brides, this level of customer service is very comforting!

The ladies there were amazing! They went above and beyond on details and made sure I was comfortable with everything despite the fact that my main wedding contact left just a few weeks before the wedding. I highly recommend this venue. Super classy, great location, the beach could not be more gorgeous!

LOVED my experience at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach! They were able to help me out in a pinch after my wedding was relocated due to the hurricane. Within 60 days, this team helped me pull together the wedding of my dreams! All of my guests raved about the venue (the food, the service, the beautiful views), and say my wedding was always meant to be here. 5 Star experience!

The hotel is beautiful! We went with this hotel because it was walking distance to our wedding venue. We took beautiful pictures in the hotel before the wedding. I don't feel like I got a good discount on the block of hotel rooms, I had an attrition clause in my contract and they were going to charge us to hand out hotel guest bags. Both pre and post signing of the contract the sales people were very attentive (and as we had an attrition clause I was contacting them almost daily to know how full the bock of rooms was). Don't be afraid to ask for discounts. We did get 2 free parking vouchers and discounted parking rate for everyone else.
