The entire process was streamlined and stress free all the way from the beginning of securing the charter, booking the vendors, setting the menu, planning the details to the actual day that was beautifully organized by our wedding planner Joey. They made it easy by including everything in the charter contract and upfront about the costs of add on details. There were no surprises or last minute fees. All of our guests could not stop raving about their experience, especially how friendly and attentive the staff was. The food was amazing and the DJ kept the party going the whole night. We wouldn't change a thing!

tly answering all the questions I had. Once we were about a month out, Amelia, became our contact person. She as well was a pleasure to deal with and assisted us in all the small details I envisioned. The day of our event the weather was cloudy, sprinkling, with some wind. I was a mess but the staff offered a calming presence reassuring me the evening would turn out beautiful...and it did! Our two servers were attentive to our timeline, turned down the music when the speeches were given, and overall provided us with a flawless evening. The Pilot room is beautiful with all its windows. If you are looking for a venue that is different with a top-notch staff, I would highly suggest booking the Yacht Starship! Our guests were not bothered by the weather and only commented on what a wonderful time they had. Thank you Yacht StarShip for providing us with a memorable event that we will look back on fondly!

e end of March of 2024 to be able to sit down and write a review because of how upset I still am. Despite the reviews, our coordinator was awful. Not only did she have me so stressed on my wedding day I was crying, but because she was so uncoordinated, disorganized and did not communicate with us in a timely manner, nor did she communicate with our vendor (like our cake which was delivered to the wrong ship and caused our wedding ceremony to be delayed an hour), she caused me and my husband a lot of stress. She did not listen to what I wanted when setting up the decor and instead my bridal party spent a lot of time when we got on the ship setting everything up the right way (which was frustrating given I had walked our coordinator through everything at the rehearsal). Due to her lack of preparation, we spent an hour's worth of sailing time and money sitting at the dock doing nothing waiting for our cake when we could've just moved the ceremony up and done a dockside wedding. The DJ played the wrong walk out song, we didn't have time now after photos to do a cake cutting ceremony, speeches that were prepared, or a champagne toast. We wanted to do a send-off ceremony but when we pulled back up to the docks (I was on the top deck) no announcement was made and instead my guests were rushed off and I didn't get the chance to thank anyone for coming or say goodbye. Overall, the lack of communication was awful and could have been handled way more efficiently which would have avoided a lot of stress. The crew was polite and treated us well. My guests said the food was good, but my husband and I will never step foot on Yacht Starship again, not even to celebrate our anniversary as we had hoped to do before all of this went down. I will never recommend them to any bride and groom to be, because this in the end, was the biggest waste of money.

We have heard from family and friends that it was one of the best weddings they have ever been to! We cannot thank them enough for making it so special for us.

They handled every detail from start to finish and pretty much the only things we had to worry about ourselves was the personal touches; dresses, suits, cake, etc. Yacht Starship took care of the bigger things like catering, DJ, bar package, wedding coordinator, etc included in the cost. We could not find that value anywhere else. It was also so meaningful to be married on the Hillsborough River by the same company that owns the Pirate Taxis from our first date. We heard so many positive comments about our guests saying the Taste of Tampa buffet was the best food they ever had at a wedding. Truly a magical day.

ith a different venue. after all, they didn't even take the boat out of the channel, so in every single one of my wedding photos, there's a building in the background I was under the impression during my initial walkthrough we would be making it out to the bay. That was the first disappointment. secondly, I was promised a wedding coordinator three months out from the wedding. Well that didn't happen and they blamed it on being busy from the "holiday season", but I didn't get to speak to my coordinator until about six weeks out. So if you're a planner please keep that in mind. When I did finally get to speak with a coordinator, we had about an hour long conversation, going over all the details. Afterwards he emailed me a copy of our conversation with notes stating how I wanted my decorations and all the fine details. I'm not a bridezilla. I didn't want any extravagant decorations, I simply wanted flowers. that's literally all I wanted... and guess what the one thing my coordinator wouldn't let on the boat the day of the wedding, MY FLOWERS! I spent hours and hours picking out my flowers. I spent hundreds of dollars!! I'm literally gutted to this day about them not being on the tables and it's been weeks. Remember how I mentioned he emailed me notes on our talk? well there in plain sight on the paper in his handwriting it says "organic- day of delivery " which was his reasoning for why my aunt and friend couldn't put out the flowers because apparently I told him they would be fake And they couldn’t bring on fresh flowers the day of?! Thankfully, my aunt put her foot down and was able to get at least our sweetheart table covered with some greenery so not all the photos look like we had our wedding in a cafeteria. I wish I could say that was the worst part- it was not, the way the rest of the staff treated us fall in line with the coordinator, with the exception of a few. again, referring back to the notes emailed, we were informed we would have 15 minutes to clear off the boat after the wedding. We went out to do our "sendoff", and when my sister, aunt and friends came back to clean off the boat the staff had THROWN OUR WEDDING PRESENTS AND CARDS OVER THE FENCE . along with guests purses and decorations. They also "misplaced" our guests wedding favors that were out by the dance floor when we went to do the send off. The favors were lotto tickets in bags that said enjoy the riches from the the new Mr. & Mrs. - all mysteriously gone! This might be an assumption but there's no doubt in my mind the employees took them while we were doing the send off, because stuff like that doesn't end up in the trash or go missing... finally, I'd like to mention the technical errors with our sound/music. You see my husband, and I didn't want to do vows in front of our friends and family to keep them private, so our first dance was supposed to be a really intimate moment and our version of vows. Guess which song they couldn't get to play? Yup, our first dance ruined. Did they test it ahead of time? it was so awkward us standing up there in silence that a guest yelled out "want me to sing?" the song never played, we sat back down. so awkward. Then when the pastor and our parents went to speak the mic wouldn't work and the guest couldn't hear them Over the boat.

nd it was so beautiful and a perfect set up for 75 people. Our coordinator was Amelia, DJ was Paul, and Captain was Brennan. We could not of had a better staff. Amelia stuck to the timeline and made sure everything ran seamless. For us, 5 hours was the perfect amount of time for our wedding and order of events. The staff was nice, and everyone had an amazing time. Plus, the food was incredible, and DJ Paul got everyone on the dance floor. If you are looking for something inclusive, different, and organized - pick this venue! We will never forget this day!

r part of the planning super simple, and best of all our guests had a very unique experience!! We also utilized the next door Sparkman Wharf for a rehearsal dinner location so we didn’t have to be running all around town. I cannot recommend this venue enough. Unique, simple, fun and great staff.

e little things: glue for my cake topper, helped my bridesmaids with my bussel, asked me questions when he needed my direction during the event, taught us how to slice the cake (and other wedding things), and things I am not even aware of. He also kept us on schedule. We were also able to hire vendors to assist my dad up and down the stairs. Food and drink were included in the package. The DJ was spectacular (also included). Yacht StarShip is the full package.

venue. I came across the yacht and it was so much better than I could have ever imagined. Rachel was our planner and she is amazing! I can be very picky and she handled all of my questions and needs with grace! She helped me pick the extra rentals and decor to bring my vision to life. The entire staff was extremely friendly and professional throughout the entire experience of planning and the event itself. The food was delicious, the bar kept up with our crazy guests, and the DJ had everyone dancing and signing the whole charter! I can not recommend or thank the company/venue enough. It was such a unique and fun place for our wedding!
