This company made the entire process so easy and straightforward. I was able to pick from their staff and went with Ashley L, who was INCREDIBLE. We also had a second photographer for a 4 hour block. They were both amazing and I would recommend this company to anyone! Their prices are so reasonable for great quality work! I’m so happy we booked with them!

come true. Having Julian as the .5 photographer was also just the cherry on top! They both took such amazing photos and I loved both their styles/edits when we got our photos back. Not to mention, we got our photos back (and more than we were expecting) so soon after the wedding! Going into this process, I was slightly nervous just because I knew we could not afford the largest package and I have heard horror stories of people missing many photos or it taking forever to get their photos back from other companies. I can reassure you that is NOT something you have to worry about here. I absolutely recommend using this company, and more specifically April and Jillian. We are so grateful for these wonderful humans.

and we are so happy with our photos! Elliot was professional but very kind and made the whole experience very fun. We got way more photos back than expected within just a couple of weeks. There were a few types of photos that we wish we’d gotten such as photos of our food displays or certain family photos but that was more our mistake as we didn’t create a proper shot list, so don’t forget to make one and give it to your photographer! Both of our photographers captured our day perfectly and we highly recommend working with them!

The owner Amanda was also very professional and responsive. Also she was very helpful with information about permits needed for taking photos at a park in Boulder, CO.

I also loved that we were able to choose our photographers from their talented team. We had Amanda and Ashley L, and they went above and beyond for us from start to finish. They took the time to set up an initial meeting so we could get to know each other, and they made us feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. On the wedding day, they worked so efficiently while still capturing all of the special moments. Their speed and organization were especially appreciated during the summer heat! how best to choose a photographer, and how to book. My fiancee and I spent time looking through the portfolios of different photographers on the Yellow Paddle website and picked the one that we felt best fit the photos we were looking for. We added an engagement photoshoot as well and this was a great way to get to know our photographer before our wedding day. Scheduling was flexible, payment transparent and easy to make, and our photographer was very communicative.
We booked the 1.5 photographer package which is one photographer for 8 hours and one photographer for 4 hours. For reference our wedding and reception was from 5pm-11pm, had 85 guests, and took place in several different areas both indoors and outdoors. We were able to schedule both photographers for exactly the we wanted them to be there, so we were able to have several angles of the more important moments of the night (i.e. ceremony, speeches, cake cutting, dancing).
I would definitely recommend Yellow Paddle for anyone wedding photography and I hope to work with our personal photographer again for future life events.

His profile photos are gorgeous and are the reason I chose Santana to do our photos. And they turned out so beautifully!!! Seriously, I cannot recommend Santana enough, especially if you like his style. It ended up being a little cloudy on our wedding day, so I was afraid that our photos would turn out gray-ish. But they are still warm-toned and feel so happy and inviting. Photography is the most important part of your wedding, because your wedding really just flies by and the photos is all you'll have left of it!
Not only were the photos beautiful, but he really encouraged us to just be ourselves and have fun in our pictures. We even ended up having way more specific photos than we thought we wanted originally, and he was more than happy to help us get everything we wanted! He is a great person and an even better photographer!

I was a bit skeptical about choosing a photographer I had never met in person before.
However, between the portfolio pics and 'meet the pho...
tographer'...we were able to pick one that not only would have a finished product we were sure to love, but also a person's personality that would match ours.
Our original photographer, Karlie, we chose unfortunately had a family emergency and wasn't available for our day. Yellow Paddle looked at her notes and spoke with her about us and our day; they then sent a list of other photographers with a link to their portfolios that would best match what we wanted out of our day. Two of the four they sent were on the top of our list when we originally made our decision. We wished her the best outcome for her family (as family always comes first for us as well) and invited Ashely to come join our celebration and to capture our special moments to turn in to memories.
This process completely reassured me that Yellow Paddle was the way to go for our photography needs. We were fortunate to have Jesse as a second photographer...hopefully some of you will have the pleasure of having him at your special days as well.
We were so pleased that Ashley joined in our day, interacted with our guests and got all the specific shots we hoped for and more. Our guests had some ideas of their own (come to find out when they told us about it) and they said Ashley was ready to have some fun and rolled with the punches of their shenanigans. For that...we are so very grateful; as our friends and family are a wonderful crazy fun loving group of big hearted people...Ashley and Jesse fit right in!

f the photographer won't reference said list one time. My photographer produced some really great shots but at the end of the day, I did not get a single well shot picture with my maid of honor, and immediate family photo, nor singles with my my grandparents, my siblings, or my mom. (Which were all on the list I was required to submit).
She seemed to be rushing through the photos with my wedding party meanwhile the photos with my Husband and his groomsmen were the best ones taken out of the whole day. He actually got more photos with his groomsmen than he got with me. Other than that, I got maybe two shots with my whole wedding party and out of those one member of the party is way off to the side, should this not of been something the photographer needed to correct? And tell them to move in closer for the shot?
It's incredibly disheartening to look back at photos and not see ones with the people most important to you and on my wedding day would it not be the photographers job to direct and make sure we get all the photos that were on the list?
Out of the 451 pictures I was sent there are about 20 that I love but even more photos that I regret were not taken.
As for the editing I was hoping for something more in depth. Such as maybe trying to fix the hair that was blowing in my face from the wind? Or in one of the candid's of myself and my sister in law, there's a huge handicap sign in the background. Could that not of been removed?
The quality of the pictures is amazing and I love the filters on my photos but the execution and over disorganization of the entire day really ruins this experience for me and I'm left feeling upset over the pictures I requested and did not get.

Our venue was partially outdoors, so the lighting changed a lot throughout the evening, but every shot was crisp and had rich color that was just as pretty as real life. Yanni even took a group shot with ~110 people altogether, and directed everyone where to stand and how to pose in less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend Yanni to capture real candid moments with perfect clarity in any lighting- outdoors or indoors, daytime or night.

Jake went out to the venue before the wedding to scout the perfect locations around the ranch, taking full advantage of the stunning mountain backdrop and natural lighting. His calm demeanor helped ease our wedding day nerves, and he seamlessly blended into the background while capturing the most intimate and joyful moments of our special day.
What impressed us most was Jake's ability to capture not just posed photos but the genuine emotions and spontaneous interactions between us and our guests. The candid shots he took during the reception are absolutely priceless and truly reflect the happiness of the day.
