A Classic, Luxurious Wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California
Travel back in time inside the historic Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, where Lucy Blodgett (27 and a writer and producer) and Miles Fisher (31 and an actor) hosted their classic, luxurious wedding. "I really wanted a classic Los Angeles style for our wedding, despite my husband's Texas roots," Lucy says. "We used the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel colors, which were green and pink, to keep things simple, sophisticated and elegant." Although the Los Angeles area had many gorgeous outdoor locations, the high-profile duo decided to go for a more traditional route and had their ceremony at Westwood Methodist Church, captured by Carrie Patterson Photography. Marks Garden created the bridal bouquet of peonies in romantic hues of ivory and pink, which reflected the other arrangements that incorporated roses, hydrangeas and baby's breath into the mix. Upon entering the ballroom at the hotel, guests were seated at dining tables with baby's breath centerpieces arranged inside tall elegant candelabras, surrounded by white candles that gave off a romantic glow. Lucy and Miles had their first dance to a classic song that fit the occasion—Frank Sinatra's "Hallelujah, I Love Her So"—and Lucy twirled in her gorgeous gown, which was by far one of our favorite details. Actress Grace Kelly's vintage style inspired Lucy's dress, which was a Vera Wang ivory gown with an A-line silhouette paired with an Amsale lace bolero. "Everyone knew it was our wedding and everyone felt the love," Lucy says. "We danced to Motown into the night, and we were the last ones to leave the party. It was amazing!"
