An Elegant Catholic Wedding at St. Vincent's School for Boys in San Rafael, California

Minh Thu Nguyen (31, in pediatric) and Forrest Wittenmeier (32, director of property management) went salsa dancing for their first dance and, over three years later, used their talent for the first dance at their wedding. Two years into their relationship, Forrest proposed to Minh during a hike on the tallest peak on Mount Tamaulipas, California. The couple had their wedding ceremony and reception at St. Vincent’s School for Boys in Marin County, where not only did Minh and Forrest fall in love but where Forrest’s parents had gotten married as well. The gorgeous high ceilings of St. Vincent’s church created a beautiful vibe during the ceremony, resembling the artwork of the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican and creating elegant with a touch of Italian style. The reception was held in the adjacent courtyard right outside of the church, where there was a natural backdrop of the nearby bay. A color palette of coral, green and white decorated the wedding space that was filled with garden roses and lilies. All of the décor elements on the day of the wedding contributed to the elegant event that no one wanted to leave at the end of the night, especially the bride and the groom!
