Rustic Summer Wedding at Priam Vineyards in Colchester, Connecticut

Amanda Klabonski (28 and an administrative assistant) and Ian Kirkpatrick (33 and a teacher) met at a wedding. "His best friend married my cousin," Amanda says. After three years of dating and a surprise proposal at home, the couple started planning their own nuptials. To create their "vintage vineyard" theme, Amanda and Ian decorated their alfresco wedding day in fresh shades of navy and yellow with rustic accents of burlap and wood. "We are very laid-back, so we wanted our guests to be relaxed and have a good time," Amanda says. Fuss-free details—from the low centerpieces and cupcakes to the fire pit at the reception—brought their easy, relaxed vibe to life. In keeping with the day's casual aesthetic, Amanda wore an ivory lace dress with a sandstone underlay, while Ian opted for a lightweight seersucker suit that was perfect for the warm weather. —Meghan Overdeep
