Travel Information

Guests will be traveling in and out of<a href="https://maps.app.goo.gl/eEns2EtVzfkdZPPE6" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"> Naples International Airport</a> (NAP) which is around 90 minutes from the venue and small town of Giungano. It’s recommended to layover in New York or in Europe to split up the flight time, which can be anywhere from 16-24 hours. We’d recommend booking your flights starting in July, but watch prices immediately in case of any surprise fares. United, American, and Delta seem to be frequent airlines, though we've gotten good recommendations for Turkish Air as well. US citizens will not need a visa, but you will need a valid US passport. Reminder that passports take 6-8 weeks to renew and must be at least 3 months from expiry to be considered valid. Private transportation from the airport can be organized through Mr. Michele via WhatsApp at +39 333 5981636 or email at <a href="mailto:Info.taxin3@gmail.com" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Info.taxin3@gmail.com</a>. Mr. Michele does not speak English, so please use Google translate or contact us to help! There are also options to take the train from Naples, but a rental car, taxi, or Mr. Michele will still need to help you complete your trip to Giungano. Accommodations will be organized into two villas: <a href="https://www.cilentovillas.com/struttura/domus" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Domus Laeta</a> and <a href="https://www.cilentovillas.com/struttura/guglielmotti" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Guglielmotti Palace</a>. Your RSVP will secure your room and lodging, and we will connect with you for payment.

When should we RSVP by? 
Please try to RSVP by March 31st. We know that is quickly approaching, but with a smaller event like this we want to try to confirm headcount as soon as possible. Please reach out to us directly if you need more time.
 
 
Are kids welcome? What about plus-ones?
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
 
Our ceremony is much more of an elopement than a wedding, and we want to keep things small and intimate. If you are allotted a plus one, they will be on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!
 
 
Will there be transportation to help guests get to and from events?
Guests will either be staying on-site or in the neighboring villa 100m from Domus Laeta, unless arranged separately. All events will be within walking distance, but please let us know if you need any special assistance getting from place to place.&#160;
 
 
What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
Welcome Dinner Attire (Wednesday): Italian Garden Party&#160;
We will be hosting a semi-casual dinner in the outdoor grassy area at Domus Laeta.&#160;Cocktail length, garden party dresses, button-ups, slacks, etc are all perfect for this event. Bring a jacket as it gets cooler at night.
 
Wedding Attire (Thursday): Formal/Black-tie&#160;
Ladies, please wear floor-length gowns of bright, bold, or rich colors, and gentlemen, please wear black suits and white shirts. Tuxedos are welcome but not required. You will be in the yard and garden area with stone pathways, so please choose a block heel or other appropriate footwear.
 
 
What will the weather be like this time of year?
October in semi-Southern Italy is crisp and fresh with rainfall increasing as the month passes. Highs average in the mid 60s (F) and lows average in the upper 40s (F).
 
Bring swimsuits and coverups as there will be plenty of downtime to spend poolside providing it is warm enough. If you&#8217;re an adventurer, bring good walking shoes and sun protection as there are many beautiful ruins in nearby Paestum. We also may be heading to a few local wineries, so bring a small bag for necessities.
 
 
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony, dinner, and reception will be outdoors on grass (weather permitting), so please wear shoes that are comfortable for you on this surface. A jacket or shawl is also recommended as the evening will be cooler, averaging in the upper 40s (F).
 
 
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We ask that you kindly put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony as we have hired professionals to capture this moment for us. We want our guests to be present and enjoy every second. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like.
 
 
Will there be an open bar?
We will be providing welcome drinks, a cocktail hour, and beer and wine for dinner and the reception.
 
The drinks are on us, but the hangover is up to you!

Things to Do

WELCOME PARTY ATTIRE

Come chic but comfortable. You are in an old Italian town, overlooking the sea, with vineyards to your left. Think shirts and slacks, light or printed dresses or pantsuits. Semi-casual.

WEDDING DAY ATTIRE

We'd love to see ladies in solid, bright, bold, and rich gowns paired with black suits and white shirts for the men. Tuxedos are welcome but not required.

DAY OF REST ATTIRE

This will be a day of self-care and adventure. You could be reading poolside, tasting wine at the local winery, hiking through nearby ancient ruins, or spending the day in bed. Pack accordingly! We will be heading to a casual dinner in the evening.
