On Friday, June 16th, Kristin was headed to her 5pm-1am night shift at Regal Cinemas. She went about her evening as usual but, little did she know that night, her boyfriend would come to a beautiful realization.

After a long day at work, Conor went to the local bar him and his coworkers would always hang out at to start off their weekend. 90% of the time, Kristin would be off or be working the day shift so she would normally be at the bar with everyone. As the night went on, Conors co workers started to disperse into their other friend groups which made Conor gradually become the last man standing. Sitting at the bar with his thoughts and feelings, he came to the realization that he didn't like this feeling of being alone with out Kristin by his side. As his thoughts grew from, "I don't want to be alone," to "I can't live my life without her", to "Why am I still waiting?" Conor got up, paid his tab, and threw his original proposal plan out the window since he couldn't answer that last question.

On the way home, even though he was driving 25 MPH, his mind was going 120 MPH. He was trying to think of a special way to pop the question the second Kristin got home from work, because why wait another minute for something he should've done yesterday. Once Conor got home, he grabbed 12 Bath & Body Works candles to make an outline of a heart on the living room floor. Next, took 2 pieces of paper to write a note stating details from our first encounter to every amazing memory they shared throughout their 6 1/2 years together and placed that on the outside of their apartment door. They had already picked out there wedding song a few years ago, so he decided to have that song playing in the background for when Kristin walked in.

2am had finally rolled around. Conor, patiently waiting on one knee inside the 12 lit candle heart. Kristin, at the door reading the note very slowly, tears filled her eyes as she could only assume what was about to happen behind that door. She opened the door, the scent of 12 different seasons filled the air, the sound of their wedding song danced around the room, then there was Conor, on one knee with a rose in his hand. Walking closer towards him, she realized the rose was not real. Conor: "I don't want to wait another second." He opened the center of the rose, revealing the ring he had hidden for 3 weeks, "Will you marry me?"

Tears now streaming down both of their faces, Kristin squeaked out "YES!!"

Now their fairytale begins...
