Quinton and Meagan: Two Sides to Every Story

Picture of Quinton and Meagan: Two Sides to Every Story

If you ask Quinton:

Kennedie and I were having dinner with my parents at Macados. We were seated on the patio, and while we waited, I noticed a pretty girl and her daughter sitting with Austin Williams, a friend of mine. I didn’t want to interrupt, but I saw our daughters chatting as they left, and I thought, “I need to find out who she is.” The next day, I mentioned it to Avery, and he thought he might know who she was.

The following Tuesday, I went out with Avery and some friends to Press Club for karaoke night. Avery pointed to the stage and said, “That’s Meagan, the girl from Macados.” A while later Avery came up to me and said Meagan said to quit being scared and come talk her. After some liquid courage I finally got the nerve to introduce myself and we exchanged Snapchats.

A few days later, a group of us got together at the dove field at Poor House Farm, and since then, Meagan and I have been inseparable.

If you ask Meagan:

I went to Macados for dinner with Austin and Blake. Blake kept turning around, asking if she could go talk to her friend Ken. I told her we would on our way out. As we were leaving, we said a friendly hello to Kennedie and who I assumed was her dad, but I didn’t think much of it.

The next Tuesday, I was hosting karaoke, and Avery showed up with a bunch of friends. In between songs, he called me over and mentioned he had someone he wanted me to meet. I was like, sure! The night went on, but this “someone” never came over. Eventually, I went up to Avery and said, “Tell your friend to stop being shy and come say hi.” A few minutes later, a guy approached me and introduced himself as Quinton. I can’t really recall what we talked about, but he seemed cool, and we ended up exchanging Snapchats through our friend Marlee.

A few days later, I was hanging out with Austin when she got a call from Avery inviting us to the dove field. He mentioned that Quinton was there but was too nervous to ask me to join. So, Austin and I headed over, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the best nights ever. After that, Q and I were pretty much attached at the hip!
