Patrick&nbsp;Moir&nbsp;was&nbsp;born&nbsp;in&nbsp;California&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;and&nbsp;respected&nbsp;Ellen&nbsp;Moir,&nbsp;and&nbsp;handsome&nbsp;honorable&nbsp;James&nbsp;Moir.&nbsp;He&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;a&nbsp;childhood&nbsp;full&nbsp;of&nbsp;wonder&nbsp;and&nbsp;living&nbsp;up&nbsp;the&nbsp;street&nbsp;from&nbsp;his&nbsp;&nbsp;grandparents,&nbsp;Kenneth&nbsp;and&nbsp;Ellen&nbsp;Trefftzs.&nbsp;&nbsp;He&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;Scouts,&nbsp;reading,&nbsp;and&nbsp;playing&nbsp;board&nbsp;games.&nbsp;He&nbsp;attended&nbsp;Francis&nbsp;Parker&nbsp;High&nbsp;School&nbsp;and&nbsp;went&nbsp;on&nbsp;to&nbsp;receive&nbsp;a&nbsp;BS&nbsp;and&nbsp;MBA&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;third&nbsp;generation&nbsp;USC&nbsp;Trojan.

Chapter 1: The Boy

Sarina&nbsp;Scott&nbsp;was&nbsp;born&nbsp;in&nbsp;Mesa,&nbsp;Arizona&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;intelligent&nbsp;Lietta&nbsp;Scott&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;respectable&nbsp;William&nbsp;Scott.&nbsp;She&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;an&nbsp;unassuming&nbsp;childhood&nbsp;in&nbsp;which&nbsp;she&nbsp;learned&nbsp;to&nbsp;love&nbsp;camping,&nbsp;canoeing,&nbsp;dance,&nbsp;gymnastics&nbsp;and&nbsp;poetry.&nbsp;She&nbsp;enjoyed&nbsp;her&nbsp;many&nbsp;years&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;Girl&nbsp;Scout,&nbsp;and&nbsp;showed&nbsp;her&nbsp;natural&nbsp;strengths&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;sciences&nbsp;at&nbsp;Mesa&nbsp;High&nbsp;School.&nbsp; She&nbsp;attended&nbsp;Baylor&nbsp;University&nbsp;to&nbsp;pursue&nbsp;a&nbsp;degree&nbsp;in&nbsp;molecular&nbsp;biology&nbsp;and&nbsp;bioinformatics,&nbsp;but&nbsp;moved&nbsp;home&nbsp;before&nbsp;completing&nbsp;her&nbsp;degree&nbsp;due&nbsp;to&nbsp;health&nbsp;issues.&nbsp;&nbsp;She&nbsp;was&nbsp;able&nbsp;to&nbsp;put&nbsp;her&nbsp;science&nbsp;mind&nbsp;to&nbsp;work&nbsp;with&nbsp;a&nbsp;position&nbsp;at&nbsp;General&nbsp;Dynamics.

Chapter 2: The Girl

As&nbsp;the&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;Girl&nbsp;set&nbsp;out&nbsp;on&nbsp;their&nbsp;own&nbsp;in&nbsp;life,&nbsp;they&nbsp;each&nbsp;tried&nbsp;to&nbsp;find&nbsp;love.&nbsp;Each&nbsp;thought&nbsp;they&nbsp;had&nbsp;found&nbsp;it&nbsp;and&nbsp;created&nbsp;two&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;boys.&nbsp;The&nbsp;Girl&nbsp;took&nbsp;joy&nbsp;in&nbsp;watching&nbsp;young&nbsp;Josh&nbsp;and&nbsp;Greg&nbsp;grow&nbsp;and&nbsp;learn&nbsp;in&nbsp;school,&nbsp;scouts&nbsp;and&nbsp;soccer.&nbsp;The&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;was&nbsp;overjoyed&nbsp;sharing&nbsp;young&nbsp;Peter's&nbsp;and&nbsp;Colin's&nbsp;discoveries&nbsp;and&nbsp;learning&nbsp;in&nbsp;school,&nbsp;in&nbsp;museums,&nbsp;and&nbsp;on&nbsp;driving&nbsp;adventures.&nbsp; Although&nbsp;the&nbsp;love&nbsp;was&nbsp;not&nbsp;meant&nbsp;to&nbsp;last,&nbsp;their&nbsp;love&nbsp;for&nbsp;these&nbsp;sweet&nbsp;boys&nbsp;was&nbsp;endless.&nbsp;They&nbsp;knew&nbsp;when&nbsp;they&nbsp;finally&nbsp;found&nbsp;true&nbsp;love,&nbsp;there&nbsp;was&nbsp;so&nbsp;much&nbsp;more&nbsp;love&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;shared.

Chapter 3: The Young Men

The&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;eventually&nbsp;moved&nbsp;to&nbsp;Gilbert,&nbsp;AZ&nbsp;and&nbsp;began&nbsp;work&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;high&nbsp;school&nbsp;math&nbsp;teacher.&nbsp;He&nbsp;found&nbsp;the&nbsp;work&nbsp;meaningful&nbsp;yet&nbsp;challenging,&nbsp;but&nbsp;struggled&nbsp;to&nbsp;balance&nbsp;the&nbsp;needs&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;job&nbsp;with&nbsp;his&nbsp;time&nbsp;with&nbsp;the&nbsp;young&nbsp;men,&nbsp;and&nbsp;his&nbsp;personal&nbsp;life.&nbsp;He&nbsp;desired&nbsp;true&nbsp;love,&nbsp;but&nbsp;struggled&nbsp;to&nbsp;find&nbsp;it.&nbsp; The&nbsp;Girl&nbsp;was&nbsp;living&nbsp;and&nbsp;working&nbsp;in&nbsp;her&nbsp;hometown,&nbsp;and&nbsp;was&nbsp;content&nbsp;in&nbsp;many&nbsp;ways,&nbsp;but&nbsp;pined&nbsp;for&nbsp;a&nbsp;true&nbsp;life&nbsp;partner.&nbsp;She&nbsp;struggled&nbsp;to&nbsp;find&nbsp;a&nbsp;man&nbsp;worthy&nbsp;of&nbsp;her&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;young&nbsp;men.

Chapter 4: The Struggle

Both&nbsp;the&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;and&nbsp;Girl&nbsp;turned&nbsp;to&nbsp;online&nbsp;dating&nbsp;to&nbsp;try&nbsp;to&nbsp;fill&nbsp;the&nbsp;void&nbsp;in&nbsp;their&nbsp;lives.&nbsp;Amazingly&nbsp;they&nbsp;matched&nbsp;(98%!),&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;sent&nbsp;an&nbsp;introduction.&nbsp;After&nbsp;exchanging&nbsp;messages&nbsp;for&nbsp;several&nbsp;weeks,&nbsp;the&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;asked&nbsp;the&nbsp;Girl&nbsp;to&nbsp;reveal&nbsp;her&nbsp;protected&nbsp;identity.&nbsp;Due&nbsp;to&nbsp;her&nbsp;unique&nbsp;name&nbsp;and&nbsp;desire&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;safe,&nbsp;she&nbsp;would&nbsp;not&nbsp;yet&nbsp;reveal&nbsp;her&nbsp;true&nbsp;name.&nbsp;Determined&nbsp;to&nbsp;address&nbsp;her&nbsp;by&nbsp;a&nbsp;name,&nbsp;the&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;declared&nbsp;he&nbsp;would&nbsp;call&nbsp;her&nbsp;Barbara.&nbsp;"No,&nbsp;Not&nbsp;Barbara!"&nbsp;the&nbsp;Girl&nbsp;exclaimed.&nbsp;The&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;agreed.&nbsp;Instead&nbsp;he&nbsp;would&nbsp;call&nbsp;her&nbsp;"Not&nbsp;Barbara"!&nbsp;It&nbsp;would&nbsp;later&nbsp;be&nbsp;shortened&nbsp;simply&nbsp;to&nbsp;nb.&nbsp; After&nbsp;several&nbsp;months&nbsp;of&nbsp;exchanging&nbsp;emails,&nbsp;text&nbsp;messages,&nbsp;and&nbsp;all&nbsp;night&nbsp;phone&nbsp;calls,&nbsp;the&nbsp;Girl&nbsp;finally&nbsp;revealed&nbsp;her&nbsp;given&nbsp;name.&nbsp;In&nbsp;return,&nbsp;the&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;proposed&nbsp;a&nbsp;first&nbsp;meeting.&nbsp;The&nbsp;Girl&nbsp;accepted&nbsp;and&nbsp;their&nbsp;first&nbsp;date&nbsp;took&nbsp;place&nbsp;as&nbsp;a&nbsp;late&nbsp;lunch&nbsp;at&nbsp;Chipotle.&nbsp; The&nbsp;conversation&nbsp;was&nbsp;easy&nbsp;and&nbsp;stimulating.&nbsp;After&nbsp;several&nbsp;hours,&nbsp;a&nbsp;second&nbsp;date&nbsp;was&nbsp;excitedly&nbsp;made.&nbsp;And&nbsp;thus&nbsp;the&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;continued&nbsp;to&nbsp;grow.

Chapter 5: A Love Story

It&nbsp;was&nbsp;decided.&nbsp;One&nbsp;Day&nbsp;in&nbsp;December&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;year&nbsp;two&nbsp;thousand&nbsp;eighteen,&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;presence&nbsp;of&nbsp;all&nbsp;the&nbsp;young&nbsp;men&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;village,&nbsp;the&nbsp;Boy&nbsp;asked&nbsp;the&nbsp;Girl&nbsp;to&nbsp;marry&nbsp;him.&nbsp;She&nbsp;said&nbsp;yes,&nbsp;and&nbsp;the&nbsp;planning&nbsp;of&nbsp;a&nbsp;glorious&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;began!

Chapter 6: The Proposal

They&nbsp;reminisced&nbsp;about&nbsp;their&nbsp;first&nbsp;date,&nbsp;the&nbsp;warm&nbsp;Arizona&nbsp;winter&nbsp;day&nbsp;of&nbsp;December&nbsp;8,&nbsp;2012,&nbsp;the&nbsp;delicious&nbsp;Chipotle&nbsp;dinner&nbsp;they&nbsp;shared,&nbsp;and&nbsp;how&nbsp;wonderful&nbsp;it&nbsp;was&nbsp;to&nbsp;simply&nbsp;spend&nbsp;time&nbsp;together.&nbsp;They&nbsp;decided&nbsp;they&nbsp;wanted&nbsp;to&nbsp;share&nbsp;that&nbsp;feeling&nbsp;with&nbsp;those&nbsp;they&nbsp;love.&nbsp;&nbsp; The&nbsp;wedding&nbsp;day&nbsp;was&nbsp;set&nbsp;for&nbsp;their&nbsp;seventh&nbsp;anniversary,&nbsp;Sunday&nbsp;the&nbsp;eighth&nbsp;of&nbsp;December,&nbsp;two&nbsp;thousand&nbsp;nineteen&nbsp;at&nbsp;two&nbsp;o-clock&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;afternoon.&nbsp;The&nbsp;ceremony&nbsp;to&nbsp;take&nbsp;place&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;Cottage&nbsp;Wedding&nbsp;Venue,&nbsp;located&nbsp;at&nbsp;535&nbsp;S&nbsp;Gilbert&nbsp;Rd,&nbsp;Gilbert,&nbsp;AZ&nbsp;85296&nbsp;in&nbsp;front&nbsp;of&nbsp;friends&nbsp;and&nbsp;family&nbsp;from&nbsp;across&nbsp;the&nbsp;land.&nbsp;You&nbsp;are&nbsp;joyfully&nbsp;invited&nbsp;to&nbsp;bear&nbsp;witness&nbsp;as&nbsp;Patrick&nbsp;and&nbsp;Sarina&nbsp;begin&nbsp;their&nbsp;happily&nbsp;ever&nbsp;after.&nbsp;After&nbsp;the&nbsp;storybook&nbsp;"I&nbsp;DOs",&nbsp;a&nbsp;celebration&nbsp;will&nbsp;be&nbsp;had&nbsp;to&nbsp;enjoy&nbsp;food,&nbsp;drink&nbsp;and&nbsp;dance&nbsp;in&nbsp;honour&nbsp;of&nbsp;the&nbsp;couple.

We will have a hospitality suite available in the Turquoise Room for family and friends to gather for the after-pary on Sunday night, if you would like to continue to visit with us after the reception is over. A free shuttle is available from Phoenix Mesa Gateway Airport (AZA). Call ahead as the airport is 20 minutes away. Shuttle services is NOT available from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport (PHX). Taxis, shuttles, Ubers and Lyfts are available curbside at the PHX Airport.

If you enjoy antique shopping, there are several large antique malls on Main street East of Power Road. Enjoy wandering through hundreds of stalls and finding unique treasures! Downtown Mesa offers additional opportunities if you just can't get enough!

Desert Botanical Garden: Our local desert is the most diverse in the world. Discover over 50,000 desert plants at our botanical garden, in Phoenix.&nbsp;

Usery Pass - Windcave Hike:&nbsp; &nbsp;This is a medium difficulty hike with quite an elevation increase. It is great for families. At the top, there is a nice area to relax in the shade&nbsp;and enjoy the views of the entire valley. The hike gets its name for the cave area at the top&nbsp;where over millenia&nbsp;the wind has cut away the sandstone. This hike is about 30 minutes away and is a 2-3 hour hike, in NorthEast Mesa.



Goldfield Ghost Town:&nbsp;If you're itching for a taste of the wild west, this ghost town has gold panning, a mine tour, train ride, zip line and western town, ready to give you a taste of old west life. Be ready for a gun show, too! Located in Apache Junction at the base of the Superstition Mountains.&nbsp;

Outdoor Activities

Tucson offers a short drive to 4 amazing attractions. Take a day trip to explore the Titan Missile Museum, Pima Air & Space Museum, Biosphere II, Old Tucson Studios&nbsp;and/or the Mission San Xavier del Bac.

Day Trips

If you're wanting to explore the amazing ingenuity of the Native Americans of the Arizona region, we have several monuments near by. Enjoy the Casa Grande, Mesa Grande, or Pueblo Grande ruins and museums.&nbsp;

If you'd rather day-trip to some ruins, we suggest Montezuma's Castle and Tuzigoot.&nbsp;
