The First Date: After Josh showed Lainie his new Virtual Reality Headset, they set out to Bar La Grassa for a delicious dinner. Shortly after being seated, Josh asked Lainie if she had a coin in her bag. Lainie found a penny and handed it over to soon be wooed by the magical powers of Joshua the Great. He made the coin DISAPPEAR, only to be pulled out of Lainie's ear a few seconds later. Little did Josh know, Lainie grew up doing magic with her dad. She pulled a candle on the dinner table over, reached inside, and threw a fire ball in the air at the restaurant. Lainie had to make sure Josh knew that she was better.

Meet the Parents: Josh, living in Minneapolis, MN, had the pleasure of meeting Lainie's parents early on in their relationship. Josh's parents, on the other hand, had to wait a grueling MONTH before they got to meet their son's beautiful, wonderful, very funny and personable girlfriend (Josh totally wrote this).

After spending a wonderful day together in New York, Josh told Lainie that he loved her.

One day, Lainie went over to Josh's apartment in Minneapolis.. and never left. COVID-19 swept the nation, while Lainie swept the majority of Josh's hair off the floor.

During the pandemic, Josh and Lainie made the trek all the way out to Salina, Kansas, to pick up their new best friend, Oliver David

After moving in together, getting a dog, and getting new jobs/positions all in the middle of a pandemic, Josh and Lainie embarked on their journey to Cincinnati, Ohio.

If doing all of that during a pandemic wasn't enough, Josh and Lainie decided to start their Airbnb empire in the heart of Cincinnati. It was such a success, they hit "Superhost" status in just a short time!

In the true spirit of Thanksgiving, Josh and Lainie went to look for a ring.. and NO, not a Ring Pop. At the end of the appointment, they knew they chose the right one.

Just as Josh and Lainie were starting to settle in Cincinnati, a new job came knocking for Josh --the opportunity of a lifetime he couldn't refuse. GOOGLE! This would mean that the couple would need to pack up their life once again and move to Seattle, Washington.

The Proposal: After much planning, Josh pulled off a beautiful engagement that caught Lainie completely by surprise. On the back deck of the first house they owned together, big marquee letters spelled out "MARRY ME". Lainie could barely see because of the tears that filled her eyes immediately as she realized what was happening. "I know you've been waiting for a long time. You're my best friend, and there's no one else I'd rather spend my life with. Lainie Rose Ribnick, will you marry me?" "YES!"

Josh and Lainie couldn't be happier to bring these two incredible families together, and can't wait to celebrate their wedding with their favorite people. SEE YOU ALL 6/3/23!
