It all started on a brisk fall morning, Mr. Kenneth Hawthorne was searching for the perfect pumpkin... but instead he found much much more, aka Alanna. JUST KIDDING. Alanna and Kenny met through mutual friends, they are total opposites but opposites attract and this is what brought them together. Love takes time, and patience and they learned that on September 26, 2013 Kenny was deployed to Afghanistan for 9 months and Alanna waited for him to come home with the dog she adopted for them named Dolce, there were ups and downs but when he arrived back in America the rest was history, they got engaged on July 7th, 2014 and are now living together on Camp Lejeune Marine Corps Base in North Carolina. For Thanksgiving 2014 Kenny surprised Alanna and Dolce with a little girl puppy named Liberty as an early Christmas present and made their little family complete. Alanna and Kenny are the best of friends, when you see them together you can tell how much they care for one and other. They just love each other so much because they know the feeling of being without each other.They are the true meaning of distance makes the heart grow fonder.
