Brian and Alex grew up together playing hockey and going to school with each other. They faced many awkward years together and always tested their parent’s patience. These days, Brian and Alex constantly call each other and tear up Call of Duty getting those dubs with the COD Squad. Fun Fact: Brian and his wife’s relationship brought Alex and Brittney together.

Andrew and Alex met in college the summer before their freshmen year. Throughout their time at college, they lived together and were teammates on the club hockey team. Many memories were created during these times, especially when Andrew would ask Alex to shave his back. Even with the long distance, Andrew and Alex constantly FaceTime each other leaving Brittney to wonder who Alex is really engaged to.

Tim and Alex met playing hockey back in high school. Alex would visit Tim at Bradley University, which usually meant Tim had to babysit keeping Alex out of trouble. Growing up, Alex and Tim would spend a lot of time hanging out, watching movies, and crushing unhealthy amounts of pizza rolls.

Like most of the people in the wedding party, Alex and Brett met through hockey. Their first-time meeting, they attended a college party. After a night of partying, Brett was awoken to Alex cuddling him and they have been friends ever since. These days you can find these two talking over the phone, hanging out, and sharing coaching stories.

As another fellow teammate, Nick and Alex met during college. Through countless study sessions, parties, and road trips, Nick and Alex became close friends. Nick also made sure Alex stayed out of trouble and was even responsible for “babysitting” Alex during long nights out. No matter where they are at, they always find time to catch up with each other.

Joe and Alex met in college after Joe had joined the club hockey team. On their first meeting, Alex gave Joe his nickname “Haystack”. They eventually became roommates and shared many memories throughout the years. Also as a part of the COD Squad, Joe and Alex can be found playing video games, hanging out, and FaceTiming each other.

Brock is the person Alex has been friends with the longest. They grew up together playing hockey (bet you didn’t see that one coming), constantly hanging out, and doing “cookies” in Alex’s 1999 Ford Taurus. No matter how long they have been apart, they always pick up where they left off.

Trevor is Brittney's "not so little" brother. Every year for Brittney's birthday, she would blow her candles out & wish for a little baby brother or sister... then, about 5 years of wishes later, along came Trev. These two are 11 years apart in age &, as siblings typically do, they always test each other's patience. However, they also always have each other's backs & are there for each other no matter what.

Chelsea is Brittney’s big sis, role model & best friend. These two have been inseparable since they were in diapers. You can find these two on the phone together for hours talking & laughing hysterically about things that are, most likely, not funny to anyone else. God really knew what He was doing when He made them sisters.

Abby and Brittney have been best friends since freshman year of high school. They’ve been through many life changing events together: high school, college, breakups, vacations, big moves, and all the in between. Abby is married to Alex’s Best Man, Brian, & the two of them actually introduced Alex & Brittney to each other!

Alyvia is Brittney’s cousin. They have grown up together & have always been super close (they are only 5 months apart, so they are quite LITERALLY super close). Brittney & Alyvia share very similar personalities and have a lot in common. You will always catch these two laughing together.

Laken and Brittney met in 7th grade when Laken moved to Washington. They sat by each other at a birthday party & have been best friends ever since. You would always find them together growing up. Even though they now live 5 hours away from each other, Laken and Brittney can go months without seeing each other and you would never know they had been apart!

Brittney & Holland met after Brittney moved to Michigan. They worked on the same unit of the hospital and clicked almost instantly. Holland was one of the first friends that Brittney made after moving to Grand Rapids and they’ve been close ever since. Now, you will find these two (& their significant others) together all the time!

Lauren is Alex’s younger sister. Brittney & her bonded from the very beginning. You can find these two getting their puppies together for play dates & dancing on any dance floor together. Lauren likes to say “Brittney is the sister I never asked for”, but we all know she wanted (;

Cassandra & Brittney have known each other since Kindergarten. They grew up basically as sisters, always staying at each other’s houses & hanging with each other’s families. Cassandra & Brittney share many memories together. Their friendship is so special that no matter how much time has passed since they were last together, they always pick right back up where they left off.

Tatum “Tate” is one of Brittney’s nephews. He is 6 years old and will be walking down the aisle with his little brother, Nash.

Nash is also Brittney’s nephew. He will be 4 years old in August & is walking down the aisle with his older brother, Tatum.

Olivia is Alex's 2nd cousin. She will be 3 years old in August & will be walking down the aisle with her younger sister, Madison.

Madison is also Alex's 2nd cousin. She is 1 year old & will be walking down the aisle with her older sister, Olivia.

Nick is Brittney’s brother-in-law. He is married to Chelsea, Brittney’s Matron of Honor, & is the father of Tatum & Nash (the ring bearers).

Josh is Alex's older cousin, and the uncle to Olivia and Madison (the flower girls).
