This is the coolest restaurant and bar in Muskegon, and one of the few located on a Lake Michigan beach. They often have live music but always have plenty of drinks. They have a true restaurant on the top level of the building, and a walk-up counter for ordering food on the ground-level floor where you can seat-yourself. They often have live music on the ground-level in the evenings.
Another restaurant and bar with a great outdoor environment. It sits along a marina on Muskegon Lake and is only about 1-2 miles from The Deck. They also often have live music and have great seafood along with normal bar food.
This is Allie and Jeff's favorite bagel/coffee shop in possibly the whole world. Good coffee and huge bagel breakfast sandwhiches. There are a few locations but this is the one we usually go to. Allie highly recommends getting the Traverse City Cherry Coffee - it's amazing.
A cute beach town with a small downtow square. It's great for shopping at small shops, eating out at restaurants, and going to the beach. ~20 minutes from Muskegon.

Brewery (with mixed drinks, seltzers and wine as well) and Coffee Shop
One of Allie's favorite breweries. This place serves a variety of types of beer, but it's particularly great for those who love peanut butter stouts and porters. They also serve food.
This is a larger city with larger city stuff to do. There's a variety of well-known breweries with great food worth checking out. ~45 minutes from Muskegon
