we had 50 billion classes together in high school. we talked to each other multiple times and had this random photoshoot one day, but nothing came of it. I graduated in 2014 and didn't hear another word from him after that.

almost the same day 10 years later, we hung out again. I was nervous, but I went anyways. We hung out that Friday and then on this Saturday and Sunday, I met the majority of his family.

we went on a lunch date when I had a weekday off once upon a time. he kissed me in the parking lot afterwards and to this day, we still talk about the McAlister's kiss. he ate chips and rotel and I got my favorite sandwich (but I didn't eat it all because I was nervous) 😅

this is the night I went to taco Tuesday with his fam for the first time. I drove to his house, we drove to sombreros and after, we sat in the driveway in his car looking at the stars. (so cheesy) but we were just talking about us and a potential relationship and just what our expectations were and he literally slipped up and told me he loved me. there's no proof of his words, but I remember and I'll never let him forget that he said he loved me first 😆

this was the day after he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. he had a whole elaborate plan, but he just couldn't wait 😂 it's partly my fault because I kept talking to his sister about it. not even 34 hours later, we both had covid and were DYING.

this was the night of our first out-to-eat "date" as a couple. he went and bought a brand new outfit to wear and told me to get my nails red so they would match. what a cheese ball.

the beginning of our relationship was spent at the place where we hung out for the first time. we got a bowling bag and our own bowling balls. we were unashamedly THOSE people 😂

back when I could convince Dylan to grocery shop with me because it was "fun". that didn't last very long and now I spend most of my shopping trips alone. 🤣

I used to take tons of pictures like this just to send to people and say funny things about how I wanted to marry him, I was just "waiting for the ring". It started as a joke and opened up the door for several conversations and we both knew, we just wanted to take our time.

our first Christmas together ft. baby Landyn. we had the best time and I knew from the beginning that I found a family in Dylan's, but this night was really when I remember thinking I'd love to be part of this family forever. ❤️

this night, Dylan wore Carhartt overalls and had my wallet in his back pocket when he went to change clothes in the bathroom at Barnes & Noble. we left my wallet there that night, but not on purpose. 😅 I drove and picked it back up the next day and everything was still inside. it's a funny story and of course, we blame each other for the mishap. 😂

I remember telling Dylan right before we decided to go play basketball that I'd cook him and he wouldn't be able to score if we played... he beat me... 21-3 😳

we took our first trip together to St. Louis and did all the fun touristy things together. Fun fact: I was fully convinced that he was gonna propose on this trip, but I had to come to my senses a little and think about the fact that there would be no involvement from our families 😅😬

this is our most recent picture. I can't wait for the rest of our lives and all the fun things we're gonna do. making memories together is my favorite ♥️
