I met Nick December 31 2012 at the Balmer. He was there for Alyx & Kael’s Wedding social. We bumped into each other on the dance floor and started dancing and he swung me into the DJ booth—awesome dance moves. The night ended..

I decided to message him a few days later and thank him for the dance and compliment his amazing dance moves, I was being sarcastic haha.. he clearly didn’t remember a thing but asked me out on a date. I went over to his house and he cooked me a delicious supper, we ended the night and he gave me a kiss on the cheek.

We continue to date for quite a while and after a while of us being back n forth from my place to his he asked me to move in.

Fast forward about 4-5 years and we got pregnant with Hunter. He was born March 31st. Fast forward another 5 years, Nov 5 2022, we were at the deer camp hunting, I just finished hunting all morning so I decided to relax on the bed while Hunter n Nick hung out on the deck of the cabin. Hunter comes running into the cabin telling me “dads bleeding he needs paper towel” I thought he was joking at first but then I heard him trying to get the paper towel from the holder, I got up and walked outside and there was Nick on one knee holding the ring upside down. 🥰 Of course I said Yes!

February 2024, here we are starting to plan our wedding.
