Here’s how our story unfolded…

It all started at work. At the time, we were both working at the same medical clinic. He was on the clinic side working for Dr. Cockrell & Dr. Stone and I was working on the surgical side with the same doctors, helping assist them in their medical procedures. My best friend/ coworker, who happened to know Drew, told me I should walk over to the clinic side and introduce myself to this “really cute and funny guy.” So… I did. Next thing I knew, we were sitting in Fairhope eating dinner at my favorite restaurant on a date.

Things started moving pretty quick. However, Drew was in the interview process for a job in California. So in the back of both of our minds, we didn’t want to get too invested since the possibility of him moving was high. However, we failed miserably. Our feelings for each other grew rapidly and Drew eventually turned down the job offer. Instead, he moved from Mobile, AL to Daphne, AL to be even closer to me!!

The next few months we grew inseparable. I knew really early on that I could not live without this man and wanted him to be my forever. We went on countless family trips together to the lake house and took trips back to Atlanta and FL to see his family. My family fell in love with Drew and my seven year old nephew even told Drew, “you fit really well with our family Dew.” It was at this moment, I knew my family loved him just as much as I did. But what really sealed the deal was how his family took me in and made me feel like their own. Drew always warned me that his two younger brothers tend to be pretty hard on girls he takes home. (He only took one girl home before me, I believe…) However, when I met Grant and Adam, I immediately clicked with them and we picked on each other like we were siblings already. Then his parents welcomed me in with open arms. I could not ask for better *future* in laws.

Now, our story continues. But it continues in Knoxville, TN!! When Drew and I were on that very first date at my favorite restaurant in Fairhope, we asked each other one single question… “If we could live in any state other than AL, where would it be?” At the same exact time, we both said TN. So, when Drew & I both got our DREAM job offers in TN, we KNEW we had to take them!!

God has worked miracles through us already & I cannot wait to see what else He has in store for
