We met online in September of 2021, coming out of the pandemic. For our first date, we got drinks at 50 West, a local brewery near Beth's house. After several dates throughout the fall, things became more serious near the end of the year.

For the next year and half, we spent time more together developing shared interests and learning more about each other. We discovered that we both love local markets where we can peruse items made by local vendors and Cincinnati small businesses; dining at new restaurants; and traveling together, taking our first trip together to Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. Even though Timm isn't huge on the beach, he went all that way because he knows how happy it makes me (this is Beth typing, by the way!).

We also had the chance to learn about one another's hobbies and interests! Beth has now seen almost every movie in Marvel Cinematic Universe; fell in love with Aang, Appa, and the rest of the Last Airbender Crew; and gave the Lord of the Rings a shot (although it was just not for her-- how does it take so long to destroy one ring?!) Timm is now deeply versed in Taylor Swift lore- he went from a Folklore only person to declaring that Welcome to New York "is a seriously good song." Timm has also spent time getting to know Beth's "girls" (The Real Housewives of New York), cheers for the Cincinnati Bengals, and has fallen back in love with reading due to Beth's influence.

This time was full of new experiences, great conversations, and truly falling in love. In the spring of 2023, moving in together made perfect sense, and we spent a few weeks clearing space in Beth's house, assembling Ikea furniture, and developing new routines.

As 2023 drew to close, Timm knew he was ready to propose. He enlisted the assistance of Beth's friends Emily and Julie, and the three of them worked together to design a ring and plan a proposal without Beth suspecting a thing. On April 27th, Timm proposed, Beth said yes, and here we are making this website!

One of our future goals together is to travel as many places as we can. So far, we have traveled to Michigan and Timm showed Beth Detroit and the beauty of Northern Michigan. We made weekend trips with friends to Peak n Peek in New York and Red River Gorge in Kentucky. Most recently, we took our first international trip together, visiting Amsterdam and Lucerne and Zurich in Switzerland where we saw Taylor Swift!

We are so excited to share our wedding day with our family and closest friends in June of 2025. We appreciate the love and support we have received and cannot wait to see you all on June 14!
