Bree’s point of view:

Let me just start off by saying meeting a military guy was not in my list of things to get done in 2023, lol. But meeting Drew was one of the greatest blessings in my life. Never did I think it would come to this! Being engaged less than a year later, which can be intimidating for some, but like they say, when you know, you know;) Most people know me for my stubbornness, hard to handle, dramatic attitude. And did Drew find out quick, I’d say yes. I had to make sure he knew what he was getting himself into, haha. And sometimes, I know he still thinks that to himself, LOL! Drew added me through a close friend to both of us. But I promise you, neither him or I thought it would come to this. I just knew that I couldn’t do long distance, much less share my man with the military! But here we are. God is my complete strength through tough times like these, and I wouldn’t rather share my life with anyone else. This time last year I wouldn’t have listened had you told me I’d be engaged to “Mr. Army dude” (his nickname to my family when we first met). But the Lord sure knew what He was doing. The amount of maturity, trust, and responsibility that comes with being able to handle long distance is extremely difficult to comprehend until you’re in the situation yourself. I wouldn’t want anyone else to be with through this time right now, but I believe the Lord brought us together quick because He knew how badly we needed each other. You’re my other half and always will be. I cannot wait to steal your last name Drew Fowler, let the countdown begin!

From Drew’s point of view:

If you would’ve asked me a year ago if I was going to be engaged at this time, I definitely would’ve laughed in your face. But the moment I saw Bree, I couldn’t help but to just gaze at her. I think my jaw may have actually dropped a little. From her hair, to her nose, to everything else, I knew I wanted to be with her. We met through a mutual friend who to this day I am still close to, and consider one of my true and closest friends that I have. As we talked, I grew more and more obsessed with her. Each day was me wanting her more and more, until finally I came home for 2 weeks, we hung out a little, then made it official. From not even knowing Bree, to proposing to her in less than a year. Some people may find it crazy, but we think it’s perfect.
