In June 1992, we met during lunch on the first day of Staff Orientation in the Main Lodge overlooking Pickerel Lake at Camp Helen Brachman when Brenda was a counselor and Mark was the camp manager.

In December 1994, Mark proposed to Brenda at the same table in the Main Lodge overlooking Pickerel Lake.

On September 2, 1995, we exchanged our vows outside the Main Lodge overlooking Pickerel Lake. We planted a maple tree as a gift to camp.

In the thirty years since then, we have watched that tree grow while we have grown our own story together. We moved to Colorado where our sons, Hogan and Kellen, were born and back to Wisconsin where our story first began. We've raised two incredible young men, traveled to all 50 states and 6 continents together, bought, rehabbed and sold 5 houses while enjoying outdoor adventures like biking, gardening, camping, geocaching, ice fishing, boating and skiing.

We are looking forward to the next 30 years of adventures together.
