It was Halloween 2020 when Tim & Chelsea first crossed paths. Chelsea was attending her best friend Cortney & Greg’s Halloween/30th Birthday Party Bash. Chelsea went to the party with no intentions at all of meeting anyone new; she was dressed to impress, wearing a witchy outfit, and had not a care in the world!

Well, it just so happened that Elaina (Greg’s sister) and her husband Christian needed a friend to complete their Halloween costume and Tim was that man for the job. Both Chelsea and Tim were actually awaiting the arrival of other people that they were interested in, but ended up both getting ghosted. Tim and Chelsea chatted throughout the evening, and Chelsea must have cast a spell on Tim.

A few days later Tim messaged Chelsea on Instagram, commenting about going out some time and then again about walking her dogs together one day. Ironically they live only 2 miles away from one another on the same road. Chelsea often shares how she used to say as they drove down Laurel Road past Tim’s house “One day I’m going to go down that slide and know those people that live there!” Well in typical Chelsea fashion, she read the messages from Tim, let them sit, worried a bunch about what to say, got butterflies, and then kindly declined because she let her nervousness about meeting someone new get the best of her.

A few weeks went by, with Chelsea and Tim liking each others posts and stories on social media, but that’s all. Then one Saturday night in November while Chelsea was having drinks over at Cortney and Greg’s house she was feeling brave, plus had a few drinks in her ha ha. She commented on Tim’s post of freshly baked banana bread. Tim quickly responded offering to give her some of it. With Cort and Greg’s encouragement Chelsea invited Tim over to their place. Well, Tim was over within 10 minutes. Chelsea nervously watched from the garage while Tim pulled up in his Dodge truck with fresh banana bread. That night Chelsea and Tim talked, laughed, played UNO, drank some beers, and the spark was lit! Tim and Chelsea parted ways that evening, but obviously, it all worked out in both their favor.

After that night they were inseparable. Date nights, game nights, drinks with friends, walks with Chelsea’s dogs, all the things that make for a beautiful love story.

Almost two wonderful years went by and Tim decided it was finally time to pop the question. In October 2022 Tim proposed to Chelsea while hiking in Red Rock Canyon, Las Vegas, Nevada. Because that was more appropriate than doing it at Skankfest, a comedy festival, the main reason they were even in Vegas. Chelsea had no idea and was too busy checking out the cool rocks to notice that Tim was getting down on one knee. Well, actually he was trying to set his phone up to videotape the proposal since he promised Cory he would record the whole thing, ha ha ha. Chelsea said yes and made some awful gag noises because it was so cute and a total surprise.

Chelsea and Tim returned from Vegas engaged and celebrated with family and friends. This past year Chelsea and Tim welcomed their son Quill and have spent time planning for their big day!
