Jacob and Diana met at Fairview Bible Church through mutual friends. After becoming acquainted through attending gatherings like game nights and rodeos, the couple began to go on a few dates. Before the summer of 2023, Jacob and Diana decided to remain friends. Jacob moved to North Carolina for a new job, and Diana started working at a Christian summer camp. After summer had passed they continued to keep in touch. Around Thanksgiving, Jacob called Diana to let her know that he would be returning to Pennsylvania for the holiday, and he asked her to lunch. Continuing to see each other over the holiday, they admitted to liking each other and proceeded with courtship even though they would be long-distance. Seven months later, they have gotten to know each other very well, and, having fallen madly in love with each other, Jacob asked Diana to marry him on June 11th, 2024... and she said yes!
