Elizabeth and John met in St. Louis, MO in November of 2017. She had moved there several months earlier to start residency at Saint Louis University Hospital, while he was working at Ameren Missouri a few miles up the street. They quickly hit it off, and were soon going to concerts, sporting events, museums, musicals and breweries together around the city. He surprised her with an amazing New Year's Day proposal in front of the Brooklyn Bridge at sunset during their vacation to New York City, and are greatly looking forward to tying the knot this September!
