Our Wedding

<p>          The story of how we met is pretty interesting, at least it is to us. Allyson went over to her best friend’s house one evening in mid April just to hangout, and little did she know it would lead her find the love of her life. You may ask who that friend was, it was Kennedy (Johnson) Parker. Allyson and Kennedy have been friends for about 5 years leading up to this night. Kennedy started mentioning guys that she thought Allyson should go on a date with, and she says, “omg Allyson….I have the perfect person for you, it’s one of my brother’s friends.” Of course, Allyson ask who and she says, “Jacob Allen”. Kennedy began to show her pictures of Jacob and tell her all about him and Allyson was interested. While all of this was going on Jacob was out playing a night golf tournament with a few of his buddies. Well one of those buddies just happened to be Ethan Johnson, Kennedy’s brother. Kennedy then texted Jacob and said, “I have a friend you should go on a date with” and Jacob was interested in Allyson and agreed to text her. Allyson and Jacob texted for a week before they went on their first date at Wissota Chophouse in Cullman, AL and the rest is history. I feel like our story is the perfect example of the invisible string theory. The invisible string theory by definition is: the idea that people are connected by an unseen, unbreakable bond that transcends time, distance and geography. The theory suggests that people are destined to find their way to each other, regardless of their choices. If you are still curious on how we think this theory relates to our story, well I’ll tell you. Kennedy and Allyson have been friends for years and Ethan and Jacob have been friends for years, also keep in mind Ethan and Kennedy are siblings. Allyson and Jacob had probably crossed paths many of times without knowing it, but everything happens in God’s perfect timing. We believe that if we would have met at any other time in our lives, things would’ve probably not turned out the way they did. We owe it all to our friends Kennedy and Ethan.</p>
