On November 5th, 2016 the man of my dreams got down on one knee and asked me to be his forever girl. We had only been dating for 8 months, but after spending a summer in India together we knew we couldn't be apart.

So two of my best friends, Sarah and Gabrielle, tricked me into dressing cute and putting on make up and took me out to Lake Sandborne in Stillwater. When we pulled up I was completely surprised to see Jacob (who was supposed to be in Dallas). After I caught my breath, I got out of the car and walked over to the beautiful spot where he was waiting. He had set up stands with shadow boxed portraying the important moments of our relationship. To accompany each box was a hand written letter reminding me of the details. As we got to the last box, which said you & me, Jacob walked me to the most perfect spot covered in rose petals. The lake was behind us and my little (Rachel) was capturing every moment on camera. Jacob Lewis got down on his knee and opened up a box with a stunning ring and told me he loved me and he wanted me to be his wife... and I said YES!
