Becca and Kailey have been friends since college. They became close in 2018 and have been inseparable since. They've been best friends, roommates, coworkers, and co-leaders. They've been living together for several years, and that didn't change when Becca married Wyatt. Becca is the aunt to Kailey's cat Jack and will retain partial custody when Kailey moves out.

Kyle is Kevin's big brother. Him and his wife Emma asked Kevin to move to Seattle with them, and he obliged. They're currently both roommates and coworkers. They're one another's biggest competitor and loudest cheerleader. Because of this, they're not allowed to be on the same team for any sort of game (board or sports).

Emma is both Kailey's friend and Kevin's sister-in-law. Kailey became friends with Emma and her husband Kyle in college. They all moved to Seattle together and are now besties. Emma was the first to say Kailey and Kevin would make a good match, and they are both delighted to become troublemaking sister-in-laws. Kailey considers Emma's dog Gracie to be her favorite dog in the world.

Wyatt and Kevin have been friends since moving to Seattle. They share a love for reading and disc-golf, and have spent many hours challenging each other's D&D and board game skills. If left alone, it's 50/50 on whether neither of them will speak much, or they will spiral into endless conversation about the new things they've learned.

Kodie is Kailey's little sister. She's spent more time daydreaming about Kailey's wedding than Kailey has, and she will certainly live vicariously through it. They may have bickered constantly as kids, but they have always been each other's confidante and very first friend. Bets are that Kodie will cry more than Kailey on the wedding day.

Ronnie and Kevin have been friends since moving to Seattle. They have been roommates and processing buddies, and spent many evenings wrestling in their living room. They share a love for all things nerdy, with a special bond over video games. They also went on a mead-making kick together and produced some decent, albeit strong, mead.

Naomi and Kailey have been friends since college. They worked together at the writing center and never stopped talking since. Naomi tricked Kailey into a long-term D&D game, and Kailey tricked Naomi into her community. They now get to share two friend groups. They have been by each other's sides for health issues and life transitions alike.

Sam and Kevin have been friends since college. Sam had the joys of leading Kevin when he was a wee college student, and they eventually moved to Seattle together. They've shared a love of sports and hiking. Despite having been roommates, they've nearly spent more nights sleeping out in nature together somewhere than in their own beds.

Aaran and Kailey have been friends since college. They lived together and moved to Seattle together. They also shared a creative writing major, so they've probably seen more of each other's writing than anyone else. They have shared more TV shows, movie series, and books than they could possibly count. To this day, Aaran was the only person who knew how to change the clock in Kailey's car.
