Kelly and Michael met in the Summer of 2010, when they were both working as cashiers. They became friends quickly, and supervisors often had to separate the pair. As it turns out, Michael isn't too good at bagging groceries and talking at the same time!
After a year of making excuses to chat at work, Kelly finally asked Michael to hang out outside of work. After a few "platonic" days together, she finally realized that Michael was not going to get the hint, and told him she had feelings for him. Their first "official" date followed shortly thereafter, on August 24th, 2011.
