We met in a young adult ministry at our church and we bonded over our love of Christ and the medical field. He’s a paramedic & most recently became an ER Nurse and I am a NICU nurse. One day he added me on Facebook, Instagram, and my dog’s account on Instagram… (I thought to myself he must really like me haha). He then proceeded to message me on Facebook asking if I would be at a church group hang-out that night at Torchy’s. I told him I wasn’t sure because I was working that day. I didn’t end up going that evening so he messaged me and said something to the effect of “well since you didn’t come to dinner tonight do you want to go to dinner with me some other time?” About a week or so later we went to Chuys where I had gotten creamy jalapeño in my hair and to which he informed me of this (green flag). We continued to talk/date and then about a month later on November 10, 2021 we were officially in a relationship and Andy soon told me he loved me. Then one day we went to a bridge in Calvert, TX and I told him I loved him. The bridge became our spot from this point forward and that is exactly where Andy proposed to me on July 18, 2023.

Fun fact~ The reason we chose 4/4/2024 as our wedding day is because we are 4 years & 4 days apart as well as it’s on a Thursday and we met on a Thursday !
