This is such a fun place that has indoor mini golf, an arcade, food, and drinks. It's about 6 miles east of the hotel and is sure to be a fun time!

Just over a mile north of the hotel is this historic building that has been transformed from an old Gold Medal Flour milling factory into a wonderful museum. You will learn about the mighty milling history of Minneapolis and the explosion that ruined the building as well as have the opportunity to try some delicious, fresh baked bread! There are some gorgeous views of the Mississippi River and the beautiful skyline.

There are limitless options to take advantage of in the largest mall in the United States. SEALIFE Aquarium, Mini Golf, Nickelodeon Universe, FlyOver America, a movie theater, axe throwing, and many other attractions fill this mall beyond the myriad dining options and a surplus of shopping! You could spend most of a day making your way around this mall and encounter all kinds of fun.

About a mile and a half south of the hotel is a wonderful art museum that has a beautiful sculpture garden and some wonderful views of the city. There are some great pieces to enjoy for a morning or afternoon to take in some culture.

This is an historic music venue that has hosted some incredible performances by the likes of She & Him, Korn, Ray Charles, Prince, Aerosmith, U2, Wilco, and many, many others. It has a wall of stars with some of the acts that have come through, so its a wonderful piece of musical history even if there isn't a performance while you're in town.

Housed in a gorgeous, industrial complex, this distillery has such fun and unique offerings. Laurie would frequently attend their "Cocktail Academy" to learn about their distinct process and some fun, seasonal drinks from their very cool bartenders. It's a great place for some fancy cocktails!

There are MANY breweries across The Cities - this just happens to be one of the biggest spaces. There is food served and the seating is enjoyed family style. You can have some fun at the huge fire pit outside, or stay warm indoors.

This fun spot about 10 miles from the hotel in nearby Edina has such a great vibe. It serves Italian inspired cuisine as well as hosting some bowling lanes and some bocce greens! They also have a large fire pit outside to enjoy some of the outdoor elements.
