Getting There

For those coming from Nashville:

It's easiest to drive. You'll head east on 24 to Chattanooga then enjoy a really beautiful and windy drive along the Ocoee river. If you're headed straight to the venue & its onsite cabins, just put Retreat at Hiawassee River into your magic computer phone and let it do the navigating for you.

For those coming from Ohio:

Flying or driving... it's a toss up, and a pretty terrible time either route. If flying, you'll fly into ATL then rent a car for the approximately 2 hour drive north to Hiawassee. Fair warning: this is a wonderfully mountainous and curvy drive. If driving, you'll want to download a slew of bingeable podcasts for the 8-9 hour drive. Whew!

For those coming from anywhere farther west than Nashville:

You'll likely want to fly into ATL then rent a car for the approximately 2 hour drive north to Hiawassee. You may wish to check with other guests to coordinate flights & car rentals. Fair warning: this is a wonderfully mountainous and curvy drive.

Accommodations

We chose our venue because of its "cabin camp" feel. We wanted as many of our guests as possible to be able to sleep on the same property we party. Sadly, the cabins at our venue will accommodate less than half of our total guest list, which will largely consist of immediate family. At this time, all onsite have been claimed. If the bride & groom have not reached out to you directly with onsite cabin booking details, you are free to book the AirBNB or hotel of your choice! There are quite a few great options on AirBNB, several of which are within a mile of the venue. You may wish to coordinate with other guests as some of these AirBNBs sleep 10-12 guests.

There are many options a bit farther into the mountains (but still within a 10-15 minute drive of the venue) as well as many options on and near Lake Chatuge. If you prefer the hotel experience, we recommend The Ridges Resort on Lake Chatuge or Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa (each are a 15 minute drive to venue).
