On Thursday July 18th, Elliot asked Meagan to meet him at Spitting Caves under false pretenses. He said that he and brothers were going to jump off the rock and that she could join if she wanted to. Meagan agreed to meet them there.

Meagan showed up to see the boys in their swim trunks ready to jump. She was fooled. After they jumped, Elliot's brothers walked up to the car to get picnic things while we went on a walk around the cave. When we came back around, there was a picnic set-up overlooking the sunset.

We sat down, opened some bubbly while chatting when we heard a "CA-CAW" behind us. Elliot grabbed Meagan's hands and stood her up. He said, "I have a question for you." This is when he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him, which Meagan said yes! Elliot had friends and brothers there taking photos in the bushes. It was the greatest surprise.
