Hello! Thanks for stopping bye!🥰 We are so grateful and excited that you have decided to get to know us a little bit more before the wedding day! 💍💒Let's see....how shall I explain all the great adventures, beer trips, falling in love, and now soon to be Mr.&Mrs.?!? ❤

It was 2014 and our lives had been on different paths. College grads, working, wondering the "what ifs" of life as we waited for Physical TherapySchool acceptance. Mike got his Degree in Sports Management from Texas A&M University👍 and I received my Degree in Biology from UT Brownsville🦂. We both got into The University of the Incarnate Word School of Physical Therapy in San Antonio, TX.

First day of PT school, we were paired in the same group. I had instant attraction to Mike as he sat across from me but we were so both focused on school we didn't allow anything to side track us.

Fueling ourselves with coffee and countless study sessions, we managed to get into another group together which led to THE FIRST DAY: Aug. 23,2015.

Fun Fact: COINCIDENCE, SMALL WORLD): We had the typical conversations of where we grew up, family, hobbies and schools. Super typical. Well questions led to questions, and we realized we had a strong tie with Texas A& M University. If you had kept up this far, you would remember I did not go to A&M but Mike did. And..his Dad and my Dad. Both of our Dads were in Corp together and even in the same Company. Both were class of 1980. Is your mind blown yet? Believe me when we had this conversation, we both immediately reached out to our Dads and what do you know, they remembered each other. Mike's dad has actually been in a photo in my living room for my WHOLE life. In my Dad's Senior year Corp picture, Mr. Swenson is 2 rows back. What are the odds?

As the semesters went on, we leaned on each other, grew as professionals, and learned how to enjoy each others company. We made things fun and hence our coined slogan of "Better Together."

Graduation and Boards in 2017 was a great year for us as we became Doctors of Physical Therapy TOGETHER. We helped each other in a way that I can honestly say, I couldn't have done it without Mike.

As we continuing dating, we began to conqeur our new love of Craft Beer. Since our beer adventures began, visiting local breweries and trying new beers is our main stay and is still something we do to this day. It has almost been 5 years and we still enjoy great beer and sitting outside enjoying the days. Simple things make the best things.

December 7,2019. THE YES DAY. It was the day before my Birthday and we had planned to visit my favorite breweries and BBQ spot in New Braunsfels, TX. The day started off great, I didn't have to set my alarm and I enjoyed coffee while we made breakfast. As we get to our first bewery (Guadalupe Brewery) of the day, we had great brews and relaxing conversations. As I started to get hungry, I was ready to hit up Cooper's Old Time BBQ (by far the all time best). As he kept driving, we ended up at Landa Park in New Brausnfels and parked. I'm used to going on random walks with Mike after eating or having a few beers so it didn't phase me. We get down, the day was sunny, crisp and perfect. As we walked along the park, we talked about random things and how much I was looking forward to eating BBQ. I was pretty hungry at this point, but kept walking since it was such a nice day. It was cute. As we headed back to the car, I was thinking "thank God, I'm ready for food. Food is all I want at this point." When we were getting close, Mike turned me around and gave me be biggest hug I have ever felt from him. Almost 5 years of hugs and this one was different. I could feel his heart literally beat through his chest and mine. He looked at me, with so much love, his heart was still racing, and told me how much he loved me. I melted and was thinking if this was really happening. He got down on one knee and asked me, "Will you Marry Me?" Holy Moly! I said "OH MY GOD! YES, YES!and we both had the biggest hug and I couldn't believe it. I of course had to ask about my dogs and he assured me they could be Swenson's too. It was just us two and perfect. I'm pretty sure I said OMG like a 100million times. We then go to my other favorite Brewery (5 Stones) and got a beer, hugged, kissed, and let it soak in. I then video chatted my parents and it has been a whirlwind since. We made it safely home, and had a dance party in our kitchen. Simple and perfect. We are and always will be...BETTER TOGETHER!

Please plan for our BEST DAY on Friday, December 4, 2020.
