Olivia and Dejan first met at Ladybird, a popular social restaurant, in November in 2019. Olivia was with some girlfriends sitting at a large picnic table and Dejan with his friend asked to share the other end of the table. Teddy (just a puppy at the time) helped break the ice for conversation between the two sides sharing the table. Olivia caught Dejan’s eye and before the night was over he asked to take her out on a date.

They went on many dates over the weeks and months, met each other's friends, and continued to get to know each other. Then the infamous Covid-19 pandemic began in March of 2020 only 4 months after their first date. Olivia and Dejan decided to quarantine separately at their parents home until things settled down. Little did they know they would not see each other for months.

Eventually, Olivia and Dejan slowly started to see each other again and soon became inseparable. They knew that they wanted to develop their relationship with the support of family and friends. Dejan and Olivia bought a home together in Marietta Georgia and became engaged the fall of 2022 in Amelia Island surrounded by her parents and sister. Of course, Olivia said yes.
