Q + A
What is the dress code?
We kindly request our guests to wear formal attire and for the ladies to avoid coral, terracota, and light pink colors. Since the venue is located at a higher elevation we recommend bringing an extra layer for cooler temperatures in the evening. Don't forget to bring comfortable shoes!
Will there be a registry?
We will not have a registry, but we we would greatly appreciate your contribution towards our new house cash fund or honeymoon.
I have dietary restrictions. Where can I share my preferences for the dinner?
You can share your dietary preferences at the end of the RSVP form.
What airport should I fly to?
El Salvador has only one airport located in San Salvador. The airport code is SAL and the official name is "El Salvador International Airport Saint Óscar Arnulfo Romero y Galdámez".
I'm flying from Florida. Is there a direct flight to San Salvador?
There are direct flights from Miami (American Airlines, Avianca, Vuela El Salvador), Fort Lauderdale (Spirit), and Orlando (Avianca - only the flight to San Salvador, the return flight has a layover).
Where should we stay?
We have reserved a block at the Courtyard by Marriot for our guests. Please use the link under the "Hotels" section to access it. We also recommend staying at the Hyatt Centric and added other hotel options in the "Hotels" section.
What are the transportation options?
We recommend using private hires for transportation: ACACYA - private driver service (WhatsApp: +503 7885 2302) or Uber for short trips in the city. ACACYA has normal cars as well as vans. If you would like to rent a car, you can do so at the airport or in San Salvador (Enterprise, Hertz, Alamo, etc.). You can also contact your hotel to ask about options to/from the airport.
We do not recommend using any form of public transportation.
I do not want to drive the day of the wedding. What are my options?
If you would like to reserve/schedule a van ahead of time, you can do it using ACACYA. If you need assistance organizing this, please contact Matt (+1 813 894 1133) or Pame (+1 813 682 9095) and we can help you set this up before the wedding.
What currency is used in El Salvador?
El Salvador uses US dollars. The majority of places accept credit cards but it is also good to bring some cash with you (tips, smaller shops, etc.).
