1. Explore the Vineyards

Nashik is known as the Wine Capital of India. A visit to Sula Vineyards, Nipha Winery, or Soma Vina Village is a must. You can enjoy vineyard tours, wine tastings, wood-fired pizza and beautiful views of the rolling hills. (Just go to Sula if you are short on time)

2. Visit Trimbakeshwar Temple

One of the 12 Jyotirlingas, Trimbakeshwar Temple is about 30 km from the city and is both spiritually and architecturally significant.

3. Stroll Along Godavari Ghats

The Ramkund and Godavari Ghats are culturally significant and make for a serene evening walk. This is also where the Kumbh Mela takes place every 12 years.

4. MTDC Boat Club (Gangapur Dam)

A scenic spot on the backwaters of Gangapur Dam. Perfect for an evening outing with family and friends. You can try boating, jet skis, banana rides, lake cruises, or simply relax at the Boat Café while enjoying beautiful sunset views. It’s a fun mix of adventure and relaxation.

5. Trek to Pandav Leni Caves

These ancient Buddhist caves date back to the 3rd century BC. A short climb (takes about 1 hour one way) offers panoramic views of the city and surrounding hills.

6. Relish Nashik’s Cuisine

Nashik is a food lover’s delight. Some restaurants worth exploring:

1. Misal Pav - Grape Embassy and Peruchi Wadi are worth the short drive for their ambience and food. For something nearby, head to Shamsundar Misal — less fancy but delicious!

2. Street Food - Adarsh Samosa, Jai Jalaram Dabeli, Kapse Kulfi - all these are walking distance to each other

3. For non veg lovers - Al Arabian Express

4. Cafes - MyOhMy (Live Music), Two Sisters (Brunch), Puffs N Rolls, Luscious Layers,

5. Chaat - The Shoukin Bhel, Vinayak Chaat Bhandar

6. Restaurants - Tales & Spirits Bistro, The Terotale, Bon Vivant

7. Brewery - Cerana Taproom, Topchi Outpost

*Apart from being the Wine Capital of India, Nashik is also the Misal Pav Capital of the world. A dish you will only find in Maharashtra, and nobody does it as good as the Nashikkar's. So if you have never tried it and want to try something Maharashtrian, definitely recommend visiting one of the above mentioned restaurants.
