If touring Old San Juan, by all means, do not enter the neighboring town of La Perla. There are no longer restrictions regarding tourists entering, but it's the hood, so, it is what it is !!!

If you rent a car, make sure the pick-up and drop off is at Luis Muñoz Marin International Airport (10 min. drive to Condado and 15 min. drive to San Juan.

The hotel is offering us rooms for half price. Rooms include one bed, if a 2nd bed is needed please inform the reservation host (reservation # provided). A room with a 2nd bed will cost an additional $20/day.

Tour/Rum tasting 11/1/24, 12:15pm. $72/person. Deadline to register is 8/30/24. Go to link below and register. Select other amount and only pay the amount in your individual party (eg. 2 people, $144). A party bus will pick us up at the Marriott, take scenic tour through San Juan, then drop off. After the tour if you want the party bus will drop off back at the Marriott. If you would like to join us for lunch, the bus will drive us to The New Reef restaurant for lunch. According to who wants to go to each event the party bus will cost approximately $10-$20/person for the day. Only 30 seats available for the RUM TASTING tour.

ROOM EXTENSION DATES

The only dates available through the link for your room block are 10/31 – 11/02 as per contract. First the reservations needs to be created for the dates available through the link. Once they make that reservation, they can send us (your event manager, Jose Marquez, jose.marquez@marriott.com, 787-289-6012) the confirmation number so that we can extend. Please note that the extensions are based on availability, thus the sooner you make the initial reservation the higher probability we are able to add the requested dates
