The lodge does not have an exact address but if you google maps "Spear-O-Wigwam". It will guide you straight to the lodge. Red Grade – Forest Road 26 is a steep, rugged, gravel road from Big Horn. Challenging. Mountain driving experience recommended. Coming from Sheridan, WY: South on US 87 / Coffeen Ave for 3.3 miles South on WY 335 (stay right @ the Y) for 10.6 miles WY 335 becomes CR 26 / Red Grade Rd for 9.7 miles It is 16.9 miles from Big Horn High School to the turnoff to Spear-O-Wigwam. At the turnoff, there is a sign pointing to Park Reservoir, Coffeen Park, and Cross Creek Campground (FS293). South / Left onto FS293 for 4 miles. Slight Left into Spear-O

If you received a camping invitation, you will be able to camp on Spear-O-Wigwam grounds. If you are interested in more dispersed camping along the East Fork of Big Goose or Park Reservoir, all surrounding area is Bighorn National Forest. You can camp where ever you please, unless stated otherwise. There will be a communal bathroom/shower available and additional porta potty's for campers at Spear-O-Wigwam. The lodge is a communal area for all guest to enjoy with a beautiful fire place and where meals will be served. Please reach out for additional questions.

The cabins and tipis at Spear-O-Wigmam sleep 46 guests. Please make sure to reference your invitation to see what cabin you have been placed in. You can research your assigned cabin on the Spear-O-Wigwam website. For the nights of rehearsal and wedding, Seth and Kristin will be providing the lodging for our cabin/tipi guests. If you would like to book before or after the wedding and extend your stay, please contact Seth in order to purchase additional nights.

Seth and Kristin are providing the following meals for all guests: Friday Lunch, Friday Dinner, Saturday Breakfast, Saturday Lunch, Saturday Dinner, Sunday Breakfast. Beer and Wine will be served at Friday Dinner. Wedding dinner will have two signature cocktails, one signature mocktail, beer, and wine. If you would like additional beverages or snacks please feel free to bring your own. Please purchase those snacks and beverages in town before driving up to Spear-O-Wigwam as there are no other options near the lodge. Most of the cabins are not equipped with refrigerators. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions.

Sheridan, WY is located 3.5 hours from the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park, 6 hours from Grand Teton National Park, 4 hours to Bozeman, MT, 3 hours to Cody, WY, Red Lodge, MT and Spearfish, SD. Please feel free to reach out with questions. This is an exceptional area of the country with plenty to explore based on your interests.

Nope! Spear-O-Wigwam is off the grid in the Bighorn Mountains and proud of it. Wi-Fi is used for management reasons only so that we can take reservations, payments and emergencies. At times depending on your cell coverage you can get service on the Park Reservoir Dam. Otherwise you will have to drive back to Sheridan, WY until you hit service. This is a place to disconnect with the outside world and be in the present with new friends and family. Plan accordingly.

Raincoat! It's June in the mountains and the chance of rain and/or thunderstorm is high. It can also easily be snowing this time of the year still. Definitely have warm clothing and layers like a puffy jacket, beanie, gloves and waterproof footwear. If it is raining, there will be deep puddles everywhere. If you look up the weather in Sheridan, WY, it is typically 20F cooler at Spear-O-Wigwam. Sheridan, WY is at 3,744' whereas Spear-O-Wigwam is at 8,317' elevation.
