When and where is the wedding?
Our wedding is being held on 12 April at 4pm at The Hotel Britomart, 29 Galway Street, Auckland from start to finish. Once at the hotel, head up to Level 1 via the stairs or elevator.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Because the ceremony will begin promptly at 4pm, we recommend you aim to arrive 20-30 minutes prior to the ceremony to ensure you’re settled in.
What happens between the ceremony and the reception?
Canapes & drinks will be served in the same area as the ceremony while we are with the photographer.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes, there is plenty of parking buildings nearby including Downtown Parking or Britomart Parking.
What is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP as soon as possible, but 27 January latest. The Save-the-Date was hopefully helpful for planning purposes.
What is the dress code?
The dress code is formal, but not black tie. We kindly ask that guest avoid wearing all white or denim. Thank you!
Can I take photos at the ceremony?
We kindly request no photos during the ceremony, but feel free to capture moments any other time. Our wedding hashtag is #DarrenAndShannonSayIDo. We kindly ask that no photos get shared on any social media platform until the following weekend.
What type of beverages will be available?
We are delighted to offer our guests a selection of bubbles, wines, beer, and non-alcoholic options from the conclusion of the ceremony until 9:30pm on us.
What time does the reception end?
The reception will end at 11pm.
Is there a wedding registry?
While we do not have a formal wedding registery, we will update this website with a link to some potential ideas shortly.
Is there accommodations nearby?
In addition to The Hotel Britomart itself, there are several quality accommodations nearby.
